Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice have not always gotten along so well. But nothing brings a family together like a long prison sentence. Late last week, Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in jail for financial fraud, while her husband Joe Giudice received 41 months in the slammer. And last night, Gorga took to her Bravo blog to express sympathy for her sister-in-law/ Real Housewives of New Jersey rival. “Obviously this has been a very tough week. We are heartbroken for our family and especially those four sweet girls,” Gorga wrote of the Giudices’ four daughters. “Pray for them. No matter how you feel, I hope everyone is wishing their family strength and faith.” Teresa, who claims she did not understand that a plea bargain could land her in jail, tells the new issue of Us Weekly that she hopes to use her punishment as a “life lesson.” She plans to “teach” her children and the consequences of their actions through the illegal dealings of her and her husband. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s reality show, True Tori , mercifully came to an end Tuesday night, and considering some of the earlier fireworks, it was anticlimactic. This isn’t to say there weren’t highlights, though, including one major TMI reveal on her part. Recalling his cheating, Tori referenced Dean’s tattoo. According to The NY Daily News Four people found dead inside a car abandoned on a secluded Alabama road were implicated in a Tennessee child freaky flick probe and may have killed one another in a bizarre murder-suicide pact, authorities said. Two of the four unidentified victims were charged in the investigation and were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday — the same day their bodies were discovered in the William B. Bankhead National Forest, about 60 miles northwest of Birmingham, officials said. The other two victims had been implicated in the kiddie freaky flick case, but not charged, officials said. Officials said all but one of the four victims — three men and one woman ranging in age from their mid-20s to early-50s — were related. “They all died of gunshot wounds, and at this point we’ve ruled out any type of hostile drug takeover, a drug deal gone bad, or anything like that,” Winston County Sheriff Rich Harris told The Cullman Times. “We’re exploring the possibility of some self-inflicted suicide, or murder-assisted suicide between the four. Forensics is doing a trajectory investigation now.” Police said a passerby on her way to work spotted the abandoned vehicle just off County Road 327 in Double Springs. It was not clear why the victims ended their doomed journey in the wooded area, but investigators believe they had been staying in some local hotels over the past week, the paper reported. In an interview on an Italian radio show today, Barilla Group Chairman Guido Barilla said his company would never run an ad with a “homosexual couple.” He then explained why: “Not for lack of respect but because we don’t agree with them. A Chinese man whose nose was damaged by infection is receiving groundbreaking treatment by his doctors, who are “growing” a second one on his forehead. The 22-year-old patient, identified only as Xiaolian, had his nose damaged permanently from an infection he suffered following a car accident. His doctors decided the only way to reconstruct his nose was to surgically form a new one on his forehead, where it will match the tissue of his face. Tissue expanders were placed under the skin and then cut to resemble a nose. According to news reports, doctors expect to implant the new nose soon. Forehead skin is used to help reform noses because it is the closest match to skin on the nose. However, usually the nose is reformed during surgery. Dr. Patrick Byrne, the director of Facial, Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, said this was likely an extreme case. Nose Regrown on Forehead “My guess would be they felt that the tissue in the nose was so damaged they had to use the forehead skin on the interior part of the nose,” said Byrne. “It’ll be a real nose and [have a] breathing passage way.” When the nose is transplanted, cartilage from Xiaolian’s rib will be used to give the nose added structure , which will be vulnerable for 18 months afterward. “There’s a lot that can happen,” said Byrne. “If he gets a little infection the cartilage can disintegrate… [what looked like a nose] now looks like a blob.” However Byrne said as long as Xiaolian is able to avoid any additional complications, his new nose should work nearly as well as his original nose. “He should be able to smell, the smell receptors are pretty high in the nose,” said Byrne.

Amanda Bynes’ mental illness is severe enough that the troubled actress may end up staying in facility for a year and a half, according to a new report. Her lawyer was in a New York City court today asking for a postponement for up to 18 months while the star continues to receive psychiatric treatment. Everything we’ve heard up until now has indicated that she may be hospitalized for awhile, but this report is the first we’ve heard suggest 2015. Today’s hearing stems from Bynes’ arrest for allegedly throwing a bong out the window of her apartment and onto a Manhattan street this year. Her lawyer, Gerald Shargel, echoed the sentiments of the attorney in Bynes’ 2012 DUI case, who argued that Amanda is mentally unfit to stand trial . That lawyer, Rich Hutton, told a judge that his client “does not have the mental capacity” to understand the nature of the proceedings or the consequences. Assuming that’s true, and you have to believe it is based on what we know about Amanda Bynes ‘ actions in the past 18 months, it’s both amazing and sad. The judge transferred the matter to the mental health court. The father of one of three Florida teens charged in a vicious school bus attack said his son is “sorry” for taking part in the July beating that made national headlines. As the trio headed to court on Tuesday, Julian McKnight said his son Julian, 15, has also suffered in the aftermath of the July 9 attack on a Pinellas County school bus after it left Lealman Intermediate School in the St. Petersburg-area community of Gulfport. “All I can say is he’s had his consequences already, you know?” McKnight said. “We’re sorry what happened to the victim, but that’s just the way it is. My son ain’t never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, that’s all … He’s sorry.” “My son ain’t never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, that’s all … He’s sorry.” The three teens arrested in the attack — Lloyd Khemradj, Julian McKnight and Joshua Reddin — arrived at the Pinellas County courthouse early Tuesday. All three 15-year-olds declined to comment when approached by Fox News. All three were charged with aggravated battery. Reddin is also charged with unarmed robbery. The juvenile suspects, whom are all first-time offenders, were ordered to return to court in two weeks during their initial court appearance on Tuesday. Prosecutors — who are seeking nine months of court supervision for the suspects, as well as no contact with the victim and random drug testing — want to play the video before a judge prior to any sentence is imposed. Police said the three teens attacked the unidentified 13-year-old victim after he told officials at their dropout prevention school that one of them had tried to sell him marijuana. The victim, who was struck with a flurry of punches and kicks, suffered a broken arm and two black eyes. He may an have opportunity to testify in two weeks. The brutal incident made national headlines, in part because video of the attack captured on the bus’ surveillance camera went viral online. It also prompted critics to question why civil rights leaders did not speak up about the assault. The attackers were all African-American and the victim was white, although Gulfport Police Chief Robert Vincent told Fox News the attack did not appear to be racially motivated. Former Florida Rep. Allen West, who is African-American, chided Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, noting they condemned Florida in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting yet remained silent on the bus attack. “Three 15-yr-old black teens beat up a 13-yr-old white kid because he told school officials they tried to sell him drugs,” the former Army colonel wrote on his Facebook page. “Do you hear anything from Sharpton, Jackson, NAACP, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, liberal media, or Hollywood? Cat got your tongues or is it that pathetic hypocrisy revealing itself once again? Y’all just make me sick.” Jackson later said the two cases were not comparable. “It’s hard to make a comparison,” Jackson told Breitbart on Saturday. “In one case a man was unarmed, killed by another man.
