Bout MF Time, S#!t: Eric Garner’s Killer Daniel Pantaleo Suspended Until Decision Made Firing

Source: Spencer Platt / Getty Eric Garner Killer Daniel Pantaleo Suspended The man who killed Eric Garner , Officer Daniel Pantaleo, has been suspended while NYPD Deputy Commissioner and departmental administrative judge Rosemarie Maldonado decides whether or not he should be fired according to GulfNews . Pantaleo used a chokehold that had been banned by the department and ignored Garner’s pleas for breath while he was being arrested for harmless cigarette sales. NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill suggested Pantaleo be fired and the community is encouraged by better-late-than-never semblance of justice: “Today, we finally saw a step toward justice and accountability,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination. “And I hope that this will now bring the Garner family a sense of closure and the beginning of some peace,” he added. Firing is the bare minimum of consequences that Pantaleo should face. We’d much rather see him in a prison cell than on LinkedIn.

HURRY! Feds Looking To Charge Eric Garner’s Killer Before Jeff Sessions Becomes Attorney General

Feds Press For Daniel Pantaleo Charges For Eric Garner Death Before Trump Becomes POTUS In 48 hours the apocalypse will be upon us and the Federal prosecutors in D.C. know that big change is a-comin’. Thus, they are pressing the gas on getting former NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo charged with the chokehold death of Eric Garner according to the NYPost . A federal grand jury in Brooklyn is hearing evidence in the racially charged police killing of Eric Garner on Staten Island in 2014 — as prosecutors race to get an indictment before Donald Trump becomes president Friday, The Post has learned. Prosecutors from Washington, DC, are presenting the case to the panel, as they seek civil rights charges against white officer Daniel Pantaleo for using a chokehold barred by the NYPD on the black suspect, sources said. There is a growing fear that Trump’s Attorney General nominee, Sen. Jeff Sessions, has a racially biased past and will not seek to charge Pantaleo with civil rights violations. (Loretta) Lynch is now U.S. attorney general, and Trump has nominated U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) to succeed her, subject to Senate conformation. Sessions testified last week before the Senate Judiciary Committee, which plans to vote on Jan. 24. Sessions is expected to clear the committee, according to The Hill. Republicans control the Senate with 52 votes, and Sessions has the support of a potential swing vote, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.). Prayers up in hopes that the Garner family can be on their way to justice before Apricot-in-Chief Trump and his minions cop a squat on the entire process. Image via Twitter

Iggy Azalea: SLAMMED By Azealia Banks in Bigoted Twitter Rant

Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks have more in common than just their suspiciously similar stage names.  They’re two of the hottest female rappers in the game; they both have legions of adoring fans; and, of course – they both freaking hate each other! Banks has a history of using social media to troll more popular artists, and she was at it again last night. Last year, Azealia accused Lady Gaga of stealing her ideas and essentially ripping off her entire career. More recently, Banks and T.I. were involved in an ugly Twitter feud after she publicly mocked his wife.  Azealia may have outdone herself this time, however, as she used the news that police officer Daniel Pantaleo would not be charged in the death of Eric Garner as en excuse to attack her more popular rival: “It’s funny to see people like Igloo Australia silent when these things happen,” Banks tweeted. “Black culture is cool, but black issues aren’t, huh?” “If you’re down to ride with us, b-tch, you gotta RIDE ALL THE WAY. Don’t just be down to ride black d–k…That wannabe black girl sh-t makes me wanna throw a jar of my piss at her.” Banks went on to call T.I. a “shoe-shining c–n” for mentoring Iggy. The tweets continued well into the night and accused Iggy of involvement with the KKK and endorsement of slavery. Clearly feeling that she was on a role, Banks went on to attack gossip bloggers Perez Hilton and Necole Bitchie, referring to the former as a “f-ggot,” and stating that the latter wants to “be a white woman so bad.” Iggy replied to the rant as calmly as could be expected, tweeting: “There’s more to sparking change than ranting on social media. World issues shouldn’t be used as a poor excuse to start fan battles…Also, try not to judge another’s support ‘or lack thereof’ solely on if they have ranted in Twitter about it.” It seems she’s decided to take the high road and more or less sit this one out. Hopefully, Iggy’s boyfriend Nick Young will rise to the occasion and talk some smack. He’s been known to be as mean on Twitter as he is on the court. 11 Odd Iggy Azalea Facts! 1. Her Stage Name Has History She took the name “Iggy Azalea” from her childhood dog and the street she grew up on.

Black Lives Don’t Matter: NYPD Cop Who Put Eric Garner In Fatal Chokehold Not Indicted By Staten Island Grand Jury

You have witnessed a murder and killer go free … NYPD Cop Who Murdered Eric Garner Not Indicted By Grand Jury Staten Island was bracing for Ferguson-like trouble Wednesday after a grand jury chose not to indict an NYPD officer for killing Eric Garner with a chokehold, sources said. Via NY Daily News : There had been warnings earlier that a decision not to charge Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who is white, with a crime for killing a black man, would fan tensions. And as word of the panel’s decision seeped into the Staten Island neighborhoods where anti-police sentiment is strongest, cops were on high alert and prepared for the worst. The rally was held to address the medical examiner’s report that came Friday saying Eric Garner’s death was caused by a chokehold, a banned police maneuver. Garner, a 43-year-old father of six, was killed July 17 when Pantaleo subdued him on a Tompkinsville street with a banned chokehold. Police said they approached Garner because he was selling unlicensed cigarettes – better known as loosies – and that he resisted arrest. They noted that Garner’s rap sheet listed 31 arrests, beginning when he was 16. But Garner’s death sparked national outrage after The Daily News obtained a sickening cell phone video of his deadly encounter with police. Pantaleo, who had been accused of false arrest and violating police procedures in two previous lawsuits, was yanked off the street. The Staten Island district attorney and the Civilian Complaint Review Board launched probes. And the medical examiner’s office ruled Garner’s death a homicide. Daniel Pantaleo, the Staten Island cop accused of putting Eric Garner in a fatal chokehold, testified Friday in front of a grand jury. But after several months of reviewing the evidence, a majority on the panel, which sources said consisted of 15 white and 8 black or Hispanic jurors, concluded there was not enough there to charge Pantaleo with a crime. Pantaleo, 29, an eight-year veteran of the force, could still be hit with departmental charges that could end his career as a New York City police officer. Rest in peace to Eric Garner, your death was not in vain. The NYC medical examiner ruled the death of Garner was a homicide but the grand jury doesn’t indict the cop who killed him. Ummm…. WHAT?!?! Do you think the cop who murdered him should have been indicted?
