The famous musician died in Detroit at the age of 52 in 2017. 3. Tom Petty Tom Petty has passed away at the age of 66. The rock legend wrote dozens of iconic hits over four decades in rock n’ roll. R.I.P. 4. Bill Paxton At 61 years old, the beloved actor died of a stroke after having heart surgery in February. 5. Charlie Murphy Charlie Murphy has passed away.
