Kris Jenner Claims Kim Kardashian Didn’t Profit From Wedding, Fails to Understand Basic Finance

Kris Jenner is spinning faster than a dreidel this week. The manager of the Kardashian family is making every media round possible in order to maintain the good name of her brand daughter in light of Kim Kardashian’s speedy divorce from Kris Humphries. Jenner – who just happened to release a memoir yesterday – wants the public to stop judging , and to also understand her strange idea of finances. Kim Kardashian is all about making money with her mouth: first with Ray J, now at a milkshake store in Dubai. Appearing on The Today Show , Kris did some shady math and claimed Kim and Kris “made some money for the pictures that were sold and things like that, but at the end of the day, that money went towards the wedding.” Ummm… so what? That’s still making money. They just chose to spend it on a wedding. On The View , meanwhile, Jenner said her daughter “definitely made money,” but, again, tried to justify the profit by explaining what it went toward. Unless it went toward a muzzle, why does that point matter. In the end? “It’s a tough time for the family and for Kim and for everyone involved,” Jenner said. “It’s really hard to go through this on such a public stage.” Hmmm… here’s an idea then: GET OFF THE PUBLIC STAGE.

Dr. Conrad Murray Shopping Documentary Film

Just hours before closing arguments in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial, a documentary about the embattled physician is being shopped to networks . Murray, who faces up to four years in prison in the death of Michael Jackson, has been a part of filming the documentary since being charged earlier this year. Dr. Murray, as we know, has decided not to take the stand at his trial, but has given long in depth interviews to the film crew … for whatever that’s worth. “This project has been in the works since Murray’s arrest,” says a source. “It was originally conceived to help him get his reputation back following the case.” “However, another primary driving force of it is to generate money so that Murray can pay his lawyers and experts,” the source close to Murray confided. The N.Y. Post broke the story and says Dr. Conrad Murray is hoping the documentary will earn at least a million dollars. That may be wishful thinking. Our source says, “Dr. Murray and his lawyers were hoping it would sell for a million, but it looks like the max a network would pay is around $250K.” If Dr. Murray is convicted, that price could go up … or down. Closing arguments are set to begin tomorrow morning at 9.

Dr. Conrad Murray Defense Rests: Does the Doc Have ANY Prayer?

The Dr. Conrad Murray involuntary manslaughter trial is just about over. The defense has rested its case – or what little it seemingly had – and is now gearing up for closing arguments, which are scheduled to begin Thursday morning. According to reports, the defense won’t be submitting any new evidence, so if they haven’t needled the jury with reasonable doubt yet … it will take a miracle. Murray faces up to four years if convicted in the death of Michael Jackson . After closing arguments, the jury will begin to deliberate immediately, and it seems likely they’ll reach a verdict by Friday, assuming closing arguments don’t drag on. The prosecution rested its case over a week ago, and while you can’t rule anything out as far as what juries will conclude, their case felt awfully close to air tight. The D.A. hammered him over his medical decision making, and put a pretty strong damper on the notion that Michael Jackson killed himself , as Murray claims. Murray’s star witness was also held in contempt today. What do you think? Dr. Conrad Murray …

Adam Levine and Anne Vyalitsyna: Nude in Russian Vogue!

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine is rarely opposed to getting naked. His girlfriend, Anne Vyalitsyna, can more than likely attest to that. This is a new one for both of them, though: Together, Adam and Anne bare all in the new issue of Russian Vogue , photographed in a passionate, nude embrace … Anne Vyalitsyna has been dating Levine since Spring 2010 . Vyalitsyna, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, previously appeared in a few of Maroon 5’s music videos, for “Misery” and “Never Gonna Leave This Bed.” We have absolutely no idea what the article is about (language barrier and all), but does it matter? Check out more hot, nude pics of Adam and Anne here: [Photos: Vogue Russia]

Dr. Conrad Murray to Serve House Arrest if Convicted in Michael Jackson Manslaughter Case?

Perhaps it’s a little too early to start talking about what happens if Dr. Conrad Murray gets convicted of felony involuntary manslaughter – he has yet to present his defense – but it does not look good for the physician right now. Between the Michael Jackson autopsy photo , the 911 call and most of all, the various holes in his defense , he’ll have to pull off a miracle to be acquitted. So what happens when and if he gets convicted? As for how much time Murray would serve, officials tell TMZ that Murray would be jailed for half the actual sentence. So four years as opposed to two. Moreover, because of severe overcrowding, inmates are eligible for house arrest, based on their prior criminal history, and their risk to the community. Murray has a clean record and, as one law enforcement official put it, “it’s not like he’s going to walk around with a bottle of Propofol and kill people.” So if the jail is filled to the max, the Sheriff could quickly put him on house arrest – if not right away, shortly into his sentence – ankle monitor style. Again, this is all premature. The jury could still find him not guilty on all counts. But right now, we could bet heavily against that possibility occurring. [Photo: WENN.com]

Ben Flajnik as The Bachelor: First Pic!

Ben Flajnik is ready to come into his own as The Bachelor. The runner-up for Ashley Hebert’s heart on The Bachelorette was devastated by her season finale rejection, but credits her for allowing him to grow emotionally. Now, the tables have turned and the 28-year-old Napa vineyard owner is ready to dole out the roses … and the wine, obviously. We sense a theme with ABC’s first promotional photo for the new season, beginning in January … ABC’s press release for the new season (premiering January 2) describes Ben Flajnik as “a rare, modern Renaissance man.” What makes him such a rarity? “Ben dabbles in a lot of hobbies and crafts, such as crab fishing, sailing, golf, skate boarding, surfing, playing piano and singing in a tribute band.” “He is also quite handy with a hammer and saw, and loves fixing and building things, as well as landscaping. The woman who will share his life will also have to share one of his other great loves: his Jack Russell Terrier, Scotch.” Get ready to swoon away, ladies. Swoon away. Ben F.: Good choice for The Bachelor?

Expert on Dr. Conrad Murray Medical Decisions: Oye …

A leading cardiologist for the California Medical Board told a jury today that Dr. Conrad Murray was grossly negligent in his treatment of Michael Jackson. Dr. Alon Steinberg testified that Murray, who’s facing involuntary manslaughter charges in the June 2009 death of the pop icon, demonstrated an “extreme deviation” from standard practices in the medical care he provided. That, more than anything else, could lead to Murray’s conviction. The Michael Jackson autopsy photo displayed in court Tuesday and Murray’s recording of the delirious star are chilling, but don’t necessarily prove his guilt. Steinberg’s testimony is a different ballgame. We’re not on the jury, but it’s hard to imagine they won’t be influenced by some of this expert’s views. He reviewed Murray’s case relying solely on transcripts from his police interview because he wanted “to judge Dr. Murray on his very own words.” Dr. Steinberg made it clear that he is a cardiologist, not an anesthesiologist. That said, these are a few of his observations of Murray’s medical care: Murray did not take notes, typically standard for insurance and legal reasons, but most importantly for the patient … this caused confusion in the ER. Murray lacked basic medical equipment in case of an emergency; In addition, Murray didn’t have an assistant on hand in case of an emergency. There were six separate, distinct deviations of standard of medical care. Each example of Murray’s deviations amounts to “gross negligence.” Propofol is used for procedures in a hospital, never as a sleep aid. Murray’s biggest mistake was not making the 911 call immediately .

Michael Jackson Autopsy Photo: Released, Disturbing

In their most striking piece of evidence yet, prosecutors showed jurors today an autopsy photo of Michael Jackson, dead and naked, his body lying on gurney. The photo, admitted in Dr. Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial, was taken hours after the star died. MJ’s death, as we know, was ruled a homicide. The date on the tiles beside his body reads August 25, 2009. However, Dr. Christopher Rogers claimed the date was a simple error, and should read June 25. This was shown during opening statements. Today’s image is far more graphic . Rogers said it is extremely unlikely Michael Jackson killed himself with a deadly dose of Propofol, as Murray claimed in his opening statement two weeks ago. Jackson’s fingerprints were not found on the medication, but more importantly, says the doctor who did the autopsy, Murray’s defense theory is very unlikely. Follow the jump for the Michael Jackson autopsy photo … Rogers, in his testimony today, said that Dr. Conrad Murray’s description of the final moments leading up to Michael Jackson’s cardiac arrest just doesn’t add up. Murray claims he left for two minutes to go to the bathroom (a timetable his many women seem to contradict as well) and returned to find MJ not breathing. The defense will argue MJ self-administered a lethal dose of Propofol in that time. Rogers says Murray’s scenario – which entails MJ waking up under the influence of heavy sedatives and skillfully administering a deadly dose that would travel to his brain, causing him to stop breathing in two minutes – is impossible. More likely, according to Rogers, is Murray administering several doses of Propofol in the hours leading to Michael’s death without properly measuring them. That would result in an overdose … and likely a prison term if a jury agrees. Dr. Conrad Murray …
