Maci Bookout: Will She Attend Ryan Edwards’ Wedding?!

Tomorrow’s the big day, friends! Sometime on Saturday, Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer will promise to leave each other for always, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death ( or another Tinder scandal ) do them part. Yep, Ryan and Mackenzie are having their second wedding ceremony tomorrow — and from what we know so far, this one will be quite a bit different than their first. Just in case you forgot — LOL, just kidding, the Teen Mom OG footage of their wedding will stay with you until the day you die — the first wedding took place in a parking lot by the aquarium in Chattanooga. The only guests were Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry, and also Ryan’s dog. Jen cried throughout most of it. Ryan admitted that his son, Bentley, didn’t know about the wedding, and it’s probably safe to say that Mackenzie’s son didn’t know about it either. As if all of that wasn’t depressing enough, we also saw Ryan drive himself and Mackenzie to their parking lot location while super, super high, and he seemed to be nodding off during the ceremony, too. They wanted to get married quick to help in their custody case for Bentley, which … OK, sure, that makes sense. But as we saw in previous Teen Mom episodes, they’d been planning a much more traditional church wedding for this November. And now that it is November, we know they’re actually going through with this thing, too! Mackenzie confirmed the news earlier this week, explaining that this wedding will take place “in this little cathedral-type church and it’s just absolutely beautiful.” “We went for a rustic-chic theme so there are elements that are super formal and elements that are just very laid-back,” she said. “But it’s gorgeous.” “There’s a reception afterwards that’s in this old warehouse-type space that’s been redone. The ceremony is me: super urban, super chic. The reception is Ryan, where it’s rustic.” We don’t know that we’d describe Mackenzie as “super urban” OR “super chic,” but if that’s how she sees herself, then bless her. It’s also weird that she keeps referring to Ryan’s aesthetic as “rustic” — is it because literally the only things we’ve ever seen him enjoy have been four wheelers and killing cats ? Surprisingly, Mackenzie also revealed that Maci Bookout, Ryan’s ex and the mother of his son, was invited to the wedding. “She invited us to her wedding,” she said. “Everything is just kind of at a resting place right now. It’s about our boys. This is a day about us, yes. But it’s also about us becoming a family.” What she said is true, but it’s a little shocking to hear, considering that just a few months ago, she basically blamed Maci for Ryan’s drug use. On the Teen Mom OG reunion special for the last season, Mackenzie read a letter to Maci in which she accused her of “exploiting Ryan’s addiction on the show.” She claimed that the incident on the way to the wedding, the one where Ryan was nodding off behind the wheel, was the very first time she ever noticed that he might be on drugs, and if Maci knew before then and didn’t tell her, well, then if anything happened to him it would be her fault. After that, Maci hit Mackenzie with “You’re so full of sh-t that your eyes are brown,” Mackenzie stormed off the stage … it wasn’t great. But it seems like things have improved since then — because Maci is actually going to the wedding! A source close to Mackenzie spoke to Radar Online, explaining that “Mackenzie received Maci’s response card. Yes, she will be there. They are getting along.” She’ll bring along her husband, Taylor McKinney, and of course Bentley will be there, but no one else from the Teen Mom crew will be there. Well, except for the actual Teen Mom crew, because they’re filming the event for the show. And we thought we couldn’t get more excited for this trainwreck of a wedding! Woman Who Married Her Own Mother: I’m Guilty!

Patricia Spann and Misty Spann got married. They're also mother and daughter. You would think that a story about a mother and daughter who married each other wouldn't get any more bonkers than it already is. But in this case, their super creepy marriage is only part of the story, as you'll see in the video below. According to records, 42-year-old Patricia Spann married 25-year-old Misty Velvet Dawn Spann last year. Misty is Patricia's daughter. So it's super gross already. The details, however, make this even weirder than you'd think. First of all, though they were allowed to marry, their marriage isn't legal because Oklahoma law definitely doesn't allow you to marry your kids. Maybe the two most important things for you to know about these two are: Misty is the one who turned her mother (and herself) in, and has been sentenced to 10 years of probation after entering a guilty plea. (Under state law, felony incest can result in a lengthy prison sentence) The other thing that you need to know? Misty isn't even the first of Patricia's children whom Patricia's married. Patricia had previously married her son, Jody Spann Jr, in 2008. That marriage was annulled in 2010. Would you care to guess why? Patricia was the birth mother of both of them, but lost custody of them when they were young. Only in adulthood were they reunited. Now, Patricia said that her relationship with Jody Spann Jr was in order to prevent him from being deployed. (We have no idea what kind of ridiculous logic is behind that, as members of the military with spouses are deployed all of the time) With Misty, Patricia found another reason to marry her child — an alleged desire to adopt. One, that sounds horrifying as she had already proven so unfit that her natural-born children were taken away. Two, anybody's who thinks that marrying their child makes them a better candidate for adoption does not need to be caring for so much as a houseplant. Three, police don't buy that as Patricia's motive, and believe that she may have been trying to defraud the state into giving her more benefits. By the way, Cody Spann — the son whom she didn't marry — has been vocal and public about his disgust at Patricia, and believes that she forced Misty into it. Whatever you might think about Daenerys and Jon Snow hooking up on  Game of Thrones , we all hopefully understand that real-life incest is almost never like that. Most real-life incest takes one of two forms. The first is the most common and upsetting, and that's child-abuse. It happens when parents (or other relatives) sexually abuse their children. The second, which has only really begun to gain attention during the past few years, is adult parent-child relationships that occur between parents and children who have either neither met or have been separated for a very long time. This latter group is gross but less obviously upsetting, and the result of what's called genetic attraction. See, human instinct is to feel a deep bond of affection for close family members combined with a learned feeling of revulsion that prevents people from seeing each other sexually. So it is believed that some people who meet their parents as adults may feel an instant sense of sexual attraction. We've read a number of (gross!) stories over the years of people confessing, often anonymously. Most often, it seems to be daughters who in their 20s met their fathers for the first time and quickly began a sexual relationship. In the case of Patricia Spann, it sounds like these marriages are also a means to an end … but there may be real elements of that genetic attraction scenario at play, even if they might be one-sided. Patricia's trial isn't until January, but it's likely that they'll dig into records to see how she may have used her marriages for financial gain. And you can bet that her now annulled marriage to her son is going to come up. This story is sensational, but a good reminder of a couple of things: No matter how we feel about relationships in Game of Thrones or other fiction, we shouldn't romanticize incest. In real life, it's always gross and usually abusive. Different states have different laws, folks. Most of them specifically outlaw incest. (And no, we have no idea why they both are so often pictured in Superman shirts)

Andrew Glennon: Amber Portwood’s Baby Daddy Has a Seriously Sketchy Past

As we learned last week, Amber Portwood is pregnant with her second child. Fortunately, she's not expecting a child by Matt Baier, the notorious deadbeat whom she very nearly married earlier this year. Sadly, her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, has problems of his own. And by that we mean the guy is basically a walking red flag. We've told you about Glennon's sketchy past before, but the situation basically gets uglier with every new revelation. See what we mean in the gallery below: 1. Reality Producer Turned Reality Star Andrew is a producer on Marriage Boot Camp. He met Amber while she and Matt Baier were appearing on the show to work on their ailing relationship. 2. An Abuser of Power? Portwood and Glennon began their relationship immediately after Baier stormed off the MBC set. The timing has led many to question if Andrew abused his position of power and seduced Amber while she was still with Matt. 3. Matt Baier on Andrew Glennon: He’s Sketchy! One of the people who doubts Andrew’s sincerity and authenticity is Matt Baier. Obviously, Baier is a bit biased … but he’s also an expert on shady characters. 4. A Famous Family Unlike Baier, Glennon is gainfully employed. But he was also born with a consideradle leg up. He’s both the son AND grandson of famed Hollywood cinematographers. 5. In Other Words, He’s Loaded Which is probably part of the appeal for Amber. Unfortunately, those who know Andrew best have cautioned that Portwood is getting in way over her head… 6. A History of Crossing the Line Glennon has a history of engaging in threatening behavior with the women in his life. And the police have gotten involved on more than one occasion. View Slideshow

Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Getting Married This Weekend! Again!

Troubled Teen Mom OG cast member Ryan Edwards is getting married to Mackenzie Standifer this weekend, according to a new report. It can’t be any more awkward than last time. Back in May, as you clearly remember (how could you ever forget if you watch Teen Mom OG online ), Ryan and Mackenzie made it official. The only witnesses: Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry Edwards, an MTV film crew and millions of viewers at home who saw some disturbing dashcam footage. As Ryan Edwards drove high to his own wedding , fans were up in arms over how Mackenzie – or the network – could ever permit that. Before Standifer pulled the plug on the dashcam, Ryan could be seen driving the car while so out of it he seemed barely awake at times. Not surprisingly, observers widely questioned the validity (or at least the sanity) of the bizarre parking lot wedding that followed soon after. Edwards, who shares son Bentley with Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout, felt his efforts to win more custody would be aided by a marriage. The logic of that assertion is debatable. Even before his image was hurt by the MTV clip in question, the argument was flimsy, but it was allegedly why they rushed the nuptials. Then Mackenzie blamed Maci for almost killing Ryan (not literally, but indirectly through her actions) and the whole thing was just a mess. If Standifer and Edwards’ union got off to a rough start, it got worse, with Edwards busted sending d–k pics on Tinder  to random girls. And yet, six months later, they have weathered the storm, and according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, are ready to do it up right: They’re getting hitched on Saturday! Ryan and Mackenzie will be saying “I do” (again) in their hometown of Chattanooga, Tenn., with actual guests there to see it this time. Unlike their first ceremony, Ryan’s son Bentley and Mackenzie’s son Hudson, as well as a bridal party, will watch them exchange vows. Yes, MTV will film round two as well. “They will be filming at the wedding, and a crew has been there capturing the pre-wedding stuff too,” The Ashley’s source tells the site . “For awhile [production] wasn’t sure if Ryan and Mackenzie would allow the wedding to be filmed,” apparently, given their recent history. “They declined to come to Los Angeles to film the special with the rest of the cast in October, and some other things. But they are filming it.” It’s not clear if Maci Bookout will be attending, though there’s no doubt Maci’s reactions to the wedding will be a major topic this season. Mackenzie and Ryan, as we said, have been struggling in their marriage after Edwards was released from rehab and going on Tinder. While newlywed Ryan trying to bang other girls technically doesn’t concern her, it’s no shock that  Maci feels he can’t be trusted as a result. That incident, of course, opened up a can of worms, with Bookout and Edwards feuding and Ryan and Mackenzie on the brink of divorce. At one point, Ryan even blocked Mackenzie’s number and told members of the crew and production team that he planned to file for divorce. Didn’t happen, though. To the surprise of many fans, Standifer stood by Edwards ‘ side, even in the wake of what had to be a most humiliating ordeal.  While Standifer made a grand public display of loyalty to Edwards with the photo above, she was clearly reeling – and furious. She called out one of the recipients of Ryan’s naked photos, urging her to cease communication with her husband or else. “Please stop playing dumb. … I know everything,” Standifer told Ryan’s Tinder girl, further instructing her, “ I want you to stop .” When the Tinder match, whose photos have not been released, asked what she would like her to “stop,” Standifer threatened: “Guess we will have to do this the hard way.” View Slideshow: Teen Mom OG Season 7: Everything We Know (and Don’t Know) So Far It’s not clear what that means, or how Mackenzie dealt with her – or Ryan for that matter. But clearly things have progressed positively. Just a short time, later, the Teen Mom couple has evidently worked through their issues and the (second) wedding is just days away. Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: Divorcing Already?!

Talk about a total shocker! Just kidding — literally anyone with the tiniest bit of sense could have seen this coming. Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer, those Chattanooga lovebirds who just got married back in May in that romantic parking lot wedding , may be headed for a split. We know, we know, it’s tough to hear. But honestly, if Ryan is on Tinder asking women for vagina pics , maybe this is for the best. According to a report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, things are so bad between them that Ryan has left their home and blocked Mackenzie’s humber. “This was going on for a while, even before the Tinder stuff broke,” a source explains. “But he has not stayed at home for the past few days.” Not only that, but he’s been telling multiple Teen Mom OG crew members that he plans on filing for divorce. And before you roll your eyes at those dramatics, the source insists that “he did not just say it in passing.” “It was mentioned multiple times to multiple people on the crew.” Since he was obviously super, super high at the time of the wedding, couldn’t he just get the thing annulled? That definitely seems possible, right? While he’s having these issues with his brand new wife, he’s been living back at his parents’ house. “They told Ryan he could stay at their house while he and Mackenzie were having issues,” the source says, “but they said if he was coming for other reasons, they aren’t having it.” … Other reasons like drugs? But while it might be easy to blame all of their issues on Ryan, it sounds like Mackenzie isn’t exactly a walk in the park, either. The Ashley’s sources claim that she’s been getting pretty greedy with MTV lately. “Mackenzie requested that MTV pay for her and her friends to go on vacation to ‘get away from it all’ and film, of course.” Apparently “MTV considered it, but yesterday they decided against it and said they will not pay for it.” Looks like we may finally know why this 20-year-old divorced mother agreed to marry Ryan after he endangered their lives by driving high , huh? Those sweet, sweet Teen Mom paychecks. It’s absolutely ridiculous that she’d think MTV would pay for a vacation for her and her friends — seriously, who cares about watching a Teen Mom’s baby daddy’s wife filming by themselves? And Mackenzie’s greed isn’t only about the vacation. As a source says, “The crew has been filming Mackenzie over the last week or so, give or take.” “She has not made it easy and at times she’s refused to talk about the Ryan drama on-camera, but has stated that she will talk if they pay her more.” These Teen Mom insiders say that they’re not sure if they did pay her more, or even how much of all this delicious drama will make it to the show. Kylie Jenner: Did Tyga Just Release a Diss Track About Her?!

Can you believe that it’s been nearly three months now since Kylie Jenner and Tyga broke up ? At first it seemed too good to be true, and now … well, it still seems that way. It’s just that Tyga has always been so gross, and even if he and Kylie stayed together for years, he’ll always be a guy in his mid-20s with a child who hooked up with a young, impressionable teenager . And, much like a phoenix, Kyga has always had the ability to rise from the ashes after being destroyed. They could get back together at any time, and we need to be prepared for that. It’s just all very creepy, and we’re still not out of the creepy woods, that’s what we’re saying. Oh, and speaking of creepy things and Tyga and Kylie’s mutual obsession with each other , have you heard his new song yet? It’s called “Playboy,” and it really, really sounds like it’s about the littlest Jenner — and like Tyga is not even remotely over her yet. For instance, in the hook, Tyga brags about having the tenacity of a porn star and a drug dealer, because he’s such a catch, right? Then he goes “She a superstar and got it bad for me.” “If I hang up she call right back to me, you cut her legs off she crawl right back to me.” Name one other girl who could possibly be considered a “superstar” that’s ever given Tyga the time of day. You can’t, can you? Tyga also gets pretty graphic in the song, rapping about how in addition to this girl keeps crawling back to him , “she really crawl, lift my balls and lick the whole sack for me.” If you’re not dead yet, there’s more. “If I ain’t poppin’,” he asks, “why the paparazzi flashin’ me? Can you answer me? I call it playboy tenacity.” We call it “weaseling your way into the Kardashian family and using their fame for your own gain,” but sure, whatever. Another line that seems to be about Kylie is “More money, more problems but the money make it better. I ain’t tryna f-ck and that just f-cked her head up.” It sounds like the whole song is about a girl who simply can’t seem to help herself in coming back to Tyga, over and over again. She’s got it bad, she can’t get over him, she keeps crawling back to him and gets upset if he won’t pay attention to her. Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer: MARRIED!

So this is an interesting development. You know how Ryan Edwards has a whole, whole lot going on in his life right now? Maci Bookout just revealed on Teen Mom OG something that fans have been speculating about for a long, long time now: he’s in the midst of a nasty battle with drug addiction . On the show, she said that things were so bad that she was scared that he’d end up dead if he didn’t get help. But now we know that he is getting help: a new report we discussed just earlier today explains that he’s in rehab , and he’s been there for two weeks now. And now we’re learning that just before he went to rehab, he got married. Feel free to take a moment to process all this, we know it’s a lot. Ryan married his fiancée of six months, Mackenzie Standifer, in Hamilton County, Tennessee on May 15th. It was a religious ceremony officiated by a minister, and right now those are the only details we know about the wedding. As we’ve seen on Teen Mom OG, Ryan and Mackenzie had been looking around for venues and planning a big wedding for this fall. In a registry the couple made , the original wedding date was listed as November 18th. But obviously they decided to move things ahead a bit. Considering the facts of the situation — the wedding was moved up so fast with little notice, it was held on a Monday, Ryan was on drugs at the time — it couldn’t have been a big affair. And honestly, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Why would Ryan get married immediately before going to rehab? If he’s already been in treatment for two weeks, he would have to have left a few days, at most, after the wedding. Why not wait until he was clean, especially if they’d already been planning something together? It’s hard to say, and it looks like we won’t be getting any information from Mackenzie: as of this morning, she’s made all of her social media accounts private. Another strange thing is that Mackenzie filed for divorce from her first husband last July — less than a year ago. The divorce was finalized days before Ryan proposed , and now she’s on her second marriage at the tender age of 20. Additionally, we learned yesterday that Ryan’s drug addiction may be affecting the custody arrangement for her three-year-old son, Hudson. It’s all just very, very curious. Ryan Edwards: Is He on Drugs? Again?!

Ryan Edwards just can’t catch a break. Not because life’s been hard on him or anything — it’s because he’s always made terrible choices, he’s always had a terrible attitude, and he’s really just terrible in general . But still. Right now, Ryan is facing some criticism for something that could, for once, be totally out of his control. See that photo above? That’s one Ryan’s fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer , shared on Instagram recently. As you can see, he’s gained a little bit of weight and, at 27 years old, he’s already got a solid amount of grey in his hair. We saw a similar appearance in this week’s season premiere of Teen Mom OG . And, thanks to that appearance, and also his inability to be on time for anything ever, fans are concerned that he’s abusing drugs. Again. If you’ll remember, Ryan was acting pretty peculiar on the last season of Teen Mom OG, and he had a bad case of Crazy Eyes — and both of those things led people to believe he was high . People hopped on social media to theorize about Ryan’s possible drug problems, and now, people are doing the same. “Ryan Edwards is so strung out it’s so hard to watch,” one Twitter user wrote after Monday’s premiere. “Am I the only one that thinks Ryan is constantly high as sh-t on Teen Mom?” another asked. It looks like people are beginning to get concerned not only about possible drug use, but also about his general wellbeing. “Being totally serious,” one fan tweeted. “Ryan acts like someone with TBI = traumatic brain injury. He appears to have cognitive issues.” His appearance was so concerning that many people took to Mackenzie’s social media accounts to ask about him. And Mackenzie wasn’t having it. When one of her followers asked if he was “on something,” she replied “You are literally so rude. Did your mother not teach you manners?…. If you can’t say anything nice THEN DON’T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.” Someone tried to explain the rumors to her, writing “People think he is bc of his behavior on the show, like running an errand and it taking 5 hours, or how he sleeps constantly, and his eyes are always dilated.” But good ol’ Mackenzie responded with “You see a good 10 minutes of our lives on the show. I am pretty sure they’ve never shown any footage of sleeping in the bed, etc.” “Please stop making assumptions based off of 20 staged minutes of air time. That’s what no one realizes.” But what Mackenzie doesn’t realize is that even if we only see a tiny portion of Ryan’s life, we’ve seen it for years now. And it’s always really, really weird. So hey, maybe he’s using drugs, maybe he’s not. Maybe he has a health issue we don’t know anything about. But at the end of the day, Ryan is a bizarre human being whose eyes are constantly dilated.
