On this episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine – We stop in two locations, Hawaii and London to sit down with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham for their new movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. The dynamic duo talks about crafting a new world inside the F&F universe and more. The Rock comments on a tweet that went viral sparking the internet to go nuts when someone asked who’s funniest? Kevin Hart, Eddie Murphy, Terry Crews or The Rock. Well, Dwayne channeled his old WWE persona to layeth the smackdown on all of their funny asses. The tweet was sent out a couple of weeks ago, a person by the twitter name “@RepliesBro” posed a ridiculous question that broke the internet. He asked, Who is funniest? Kevin Hart, Eddie Murphy, Terry Crews, and The Rock. Who is Funniest? pic.twitter.com/xPNLraLfkO — Bold Man (@repliesbro) July 13, 2019 The question sparked the large debate on twitter and the end result was Eddie Murphy becoming the number 1 trend on twitter. Terry Crews even chimed in saying Eddie Murphy by far. Eddie Murphy— by far https://t.co/a0RB7ViIU0 — terry crews (@terrycrews) July 14, 2019 But now we have The Rock’s take on this question, which we assume was just in jest, but after seeing Hobbs and Shaw, I think its clear The Rock is one of the best comedic actors of all time. So when I asked Dwayne Johnson about this tweet his answer was epic. “I don’t know if I want to be the funniest actor in the game, I just want to bring the funny when the time is right, but who is on that list?” As I started to explain to him, who made the list, he interrupts. “It’s going to be Kevin Hart, Terry Crews, It’s gonna be Eddie Murphy. It could be Killian Murphy. The only thing that matters is The Rock is the most electrifying man in all of entertainment and the most funniest guy walking God’s green Earth is going to kick all of their candy asses.” Lastly, The Rock opened up about his daughter joining WWE and working out at the performance center as he stopped by there last week to see her put in the work in becoming a WWE superstar. I love that she wants to get in the business, I love the business of pro wrestling, I grew up in it, and she grew up in it too. Dwayne goes on to say that he gave his daughter some advice about her progress and reminded her that she still has a lot of room to grow. “I said They’re adults and you are the youngest one. You started at 16 and she’s 17 now. She’s been training just under a year. You gotta be patient, it’s going to come. You’re gonna make mistakes, don’t worry about your timing right now. You just gotta go full speed and come from (The heart). I would have never have guessed that I would have a daughter at 29 and years later she is going to want to get into the same business of Rock Bottoms and suplexes and things like that it’s so cool.” Hobbs and Shaw shows Hobbs as a father and you can see the film when it hits theaters August, 2nd, 2019.

Check out her exclusive interview with Isabela Moner, who played Dora and Jeff Wahlberg, who played Diego below: We had such a ball chatting with Jeff and Isabela. We also caught up with Jeff at the premiere’s green carpet, where he discussed being part of the famous Wahlberg family (his uncles are entertainers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg) and filming in Australia. After telling Jeff we’d heard he had a few famous uncles he laughed and said, “One or two.” We asked about the pressure to carry on the family legacy but Wahlberg told us, “I try not to think about it a lot, it’s special. They’re definitely an inspiration.” We also asked him about filming in Australia, since the film is set in Los Angeles in Peru and Wahlberg told us it was a great time. “It just felt like a bunch of Latin people, a bunch of Brown people – just took over Australia,” Wahlberg, whose mom is from the Dominican Republic, told BOSSIP. “Australia is such a beautiful country, nice people, it’s so clean and most of it is so untouched. We had a blast and I really enjoyed it.” Gotta love it! Check out ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ in theaters August 9th!
Source: Sheri Determan/WENN.com / WENN Fans raved about Cynthia Erivo’s portrayal of Harriet Tubman when the trailer for the upcoming film hit the web a few days ago, but some critics are bashing the casting decision, since Erivo is of British descent. Tubman was born into slavery in America and an abolitionist, so detractors feel her deeply entrenched African-American heritage should be helmed by an African American woman. One Twitter user wrote, “ #CynthiaErivo should have never been given the role of #HarrietTubman .She disrespected #ADOS Lineage/Culture/History- #AmericanHistory .Disgusting, someone who hates us get play us” #CynthiaErivo should have never been given the role of #HarrietTubman .She disrespected #ADOS Lineage/Culture/History- #AmericanHistory .Disgusting, someone who hates us get play us. #Harriet #LineageMatters – #HarrietDeservesBetter #BoycottHarriet https://t.co/7OmLc98sYN #HarrietFilm — Glen Lucien (@glenthecreator) July 23, 2019 Yea not going to see this she’s not African American she doesn’t understand black & she makes fun American Black women…. my is black & American this movie means something to us … she’s trash #BoycottHarriet pic.twitter.com/BZUH7fAIzc — Trig Lyon (@Treslyon) July 24, 2019 One social media user went as far as screenshotting some of Cynthia’s tweets from 2013, where she referred to African-American vernacular as a “ghetto American accent.” While the backlash has resurfaced after the release of the trailer, Erivo expressed in 2017 that she anticipated the rage when it was announced that she had snagged the role. She wrote on Instagram at the time: “I struggled a little with whether or not to post anything about this role, because even though there is so much celebration and encouragement coming through, there’s also anger and offense spurred on by my being from the UK…..I guess there is a bigger conversation to be had about heritage and experience, also about who Harriet really was. That can not be had in an Instagram post, what I will say is that my journey to this woman has been long and detailed and one I have not taken lightly. ” Continuing, “Nothing has been given to me without me first putting the work in, people speak of foreign privilege and truthfully life would be unbelievably easy if that were applied to me but that is not my portion. I fought for the role of Celie, and spilled blood sweat and tears playing her, the same applies for every role I’ve earned, this will be no different.” Even though #BoycottHarriett is spreading, the real feedback will come when the box office numbers roll in when the film hits theaters. According to The Hollywood Reporter , two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali was introduced at Comic-Con as the lead in the action reboot Saturday night. View this post on Instagram Just announced in Hall H at #SDCC, Marvel Studios’ BLADE with Mahershala Ali. A post shared by Marvel Entertainment (@marvel) on Jul 20, 2019 at 6:43pm PDT Ali made an appearance at the end of the panel to reveal the news that he will be taking the sword from Wesley Snipes, who previously played the Marvel Comics character in three films from 1998 to 2004 and made the film a cult-classic. Ali has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe before: as the villainous Cornell Stokes, a.k.a. Cottonmouth, on Netflix’s “Luke Cage” and did a helluva job on HBO’s “True Detective”, so it’s only right that he keeps this hot streak going by reviving a classic and doin it justice.

In preparation for the film’s first weekend at the box office, they all sat down to determine once and for all which Lion King character they really are–and surprisingly, there might be a few more Scars in the pride than we all might have thought. Not too many people can pull of crude, slapstick comedy quite like Adam Sandler — just add Jennifer Aniston to the mix and you’ve got yourself the perfect comedy flick. Last time the dynamic duo teamed up was back in 2011 with the now cult classic Just Go With It . But the hilarious pair have join forces once again for Murder Mystery . The Netflix original film tells the story of a New York cop and his wife who go on a European vacation to reinvigorate the spark in their marriage, but end up getting framed and go on the run for the death of an elderly billionaire. And needless to say, the film was clever and funny AF — all one hour and 37 minutes of it. I caught with Adam and Jennifer and they dished on murder mysteries, Saturday Night Live, and of course, Friends. When asked about his favorite Friends episode, the Happy Madison Productions founder said: “The one where Rachel spills hot coffee on herself. That was the best one. Come on, do it again!” As for Jennifer’s favorite SNL skit starring Sandler, she quickly answered: “Oh I love Opera Man! Love it. It was so good.” Adam joked, “I use to wear the Opera Man wig, and sing to Jen!” If you haven’t seen Murder Mystery, then what are you waiting for? Catch the Kyle Newacheck directed film on Netflix now. Check out the full video above to see what else the stars had to say.
Source: Apega/WENN.com / WENN Don Cheadle Is Officially Apart Of Space Jam 2 Don Cheadle has one of the most diverse acting catalogues there is, and as time goes on, his list of projects just continues to grow. Most recently, it’s being reported that the actor is going to join the cast of Space Jam 2 . According to reports from Deadline , Don Cheadle is going to be apart of LeBron James’ sequel to the famous NBA and Looney Tunes crossover. As of now, though, what his actual role will be in the long-anticipated reboot is not known. As for who won’t be in the movie, we learned recently that the one-and-only Stephen A Smith is on the list–and of course, since we’re talking about Stephen A Smith here, he made his stance on not being apart of the film very well known by tweeting out his thoughts. No folks. I was not alluding to Space Jam 2 this morning on @FirstTake . There’s no way anyone in charge would allow @KingJames and I to be on the set together. Too much tension. That would be as bad as us on-camera together talking Ball. Wouldn’t want to make anyone nervous — Stephen A Smith (@stephenasmith) June 26, 2019 Before news of his involvement in the Space Jam sequel, Don Cheadle made headlines earlier this year when he went on Saturday Night Live with a Soviet hockey jersey that had Donald Trump’s name on the back.
