Selena Gomez says she's a little sick of talking about Justin Bieber . So the artist is taking a break from discussing her personal life in order to focus on her professional life… which is about to get a lot more exciting: Because Selena is going on tour! “Guys, I have some very exciting announcements!” Gomez says in this brief Instagram video. “I am launching my Revival World Tour. I will be going to the U.S. and Canada from May to July and then later in the year going around cities.” The singer's wildly anticipated new album drops on October 9, while exact tour dates will be unveiled on Monday, October 5. Wayne Static of the rock band Static-X has died, according to reports. A statement on his Facebook page confirmed his passing at age 48. No details on the cause of Static’s death have been made available. Static, whose real name was Wayne Richard Wells, was best known as the frontman and lead guitarist of the band Static-X throughout a long musical career. That band released six albums between 1999-2009. The band’s 1999 effort, Wisconsin Death Trip , was certified platinum for over 1 million units shipped, the Recording Industry Association of America shows. He also released a solo album, Pighammer , in 2013. Wayne Static was scheduled to release another later this year, according to his website, and was going on tour, with a date set in Atlanta on November. R.I.P. Celebrities We Lost in 2014 1. American Idol eliminated two contestants this week, first sending Jermaine Jones home last night for lying about his criminal record and then giving another finalist the axe tonight for… well, being worse than the other 10 singers. So, who will NOT be going on tour this summer? Following performances by Daughtry and Demi Lovato (below), the final three came down to Shannon Magrane, Erika Van Pelt and Elise Testone, with the fewest number of votes going to… Shannon Magrane. The 16-year-old went with Mariah Carey’s “One Sweet Day” in an attempt to earn the judges’ save, but Randy Jackson told her it was not meant to be: “Unfortunately, we’re not going to use it tonight, Shannon. That’s the word on the street. Sources are reporting that ‘Black and Yellow’ rapper Wiz Khalifa has proposed to the model (and Kanye West ex) and that the two plan to marry this summer. The rapper recently told MTV News that he had introduced Rose to his mother, with whom she hit it off. “They actually really, really dig each other,” Khalifa said of the meeting. “Amber is a sweetheart, and my mom, everybody who meets her loves her anyway.” A source close to the couple says, “Wiz is going on tour for the next month. But he told her when he gets back, he’s going to marry her. And he was serious — he asked her to start making plans.” Khalifa hasn’t confirmed the proposal yet, although he has made his feelings for Rose clear: “She’s a great girl, she’s like one of the best girls in the world.
