Florida Woman Surprises Stepfather With Adoption Papers For His Birthday The DailyMail is reporting a story that will have you using up every kleenex in your crib … This is the heartwarming moment a young woman left her stepfather in tears after asking him to legally adopt her as part of a big birthday surprise. Gabriella Guardado, 22, placed adoption papers and a pen inside a gift bag and presented them to her stepdad, David Lynde, earlier this month for his birthday. In video capturing the tear-jerking moment, David is seen opening the bag and pulling out the papers while surrounded by his family in their Florida home. After taking some time to realize what the papers said, the 53-year-old becomes very emotional by Gabriella’s sweet gesture. Candice Accola has a very special reason to be excited right about now. The countdown to The Vampire Diaries Season 7 opener, which airs on Thursday, October 8 at 8/7c? Not quite. The fact that the actress is expecting her first child!!!! The 28-year-old beauty revealed the major life news by sharing a photo of her baby bump on Instagram. The picture also features her husband Joe King, her two step-children and a homemade t-shirt that says “Baby” surrounded by a heart right over her stomach. “Sometimes a Saturday is best spent painting t-shirts and taking an awesome family photo,” Accola wrote as a caption to the heartwarming image, adding: “Happy Monday everybody! #ThatAintNoBurritoinMyBelly Thank you to our friend @softspiritstrong for coming over and snapping this sweet pic.” King is a member of The Fray and, as you can see here, he donned a matching white T-shirt that had “SUPERDAD” written on it.
