SMH: Husband Fakes Wife Suicide Then Admits To Strangling Her

(Photo by Giles Clarke/Getty Images) 64-year old Derek Potter faces life in prison after he tried to hide the fact that he killed his wife by claiming that she committed suicide. Metro News reports: A court heard police did not at first treat Mrs Potters’ death as suspicious – and her body was released to a funeral director. But Potter confessed to the killing to a woman in his local pub just one week before Mrs Potter, 66, was due to be cremated. He told fellow builder Natalia Mikhailoea-Kisselevskaia, 32, what he had done before asking her to move in with him. Natalia said: ‘We were still on our first pints when he said: “I have got to tell you something”. He said: “I love my wife very much but she was doing my head in so I strangled her”. Mrs Potter’s body was found at her home in Mumbles, Swansea, South Wales, on April 7. A post mortem examination revealed Mrs Potter had a number of injuries including internal injuries, bruising and ‘other marks’ on her body. Pathologists could also determine a difference in signs of ‘manual strangulation’ and hanging. Potter will be sentenced on Thursday morning.

I don’t like Nicki Minaj, because she’s the most irritating Lil Kim impersonator there is. I don’t really buy into her bullshit, because she came out as a black lady gaga to talk to a specific market…and now she’s a gutter hip hop slut? I mean really…she doesn’t even hide the fact that she was in acting school and went to a casting… Not that it matters that the whitest black girl, is playing a black girl, to speak to white girls… What matters is that her hyped Anaconda video dropped 2 days ago, and 19 million people have seen it…and I totally didn’t…even though I posted behind the scenes, and build up to it, because I guess build up and hype didn’t work on me, I’m too busy not caring about garbage like this…but I do like celebrating ass as much as she does…and I guess how the whole world likes celebrating ass.. I mean this is the most ass filled video ever…and worth watching….on mute… Because legit or not…the ass game is real.

Melina Matsoukas Describes The Creative Process Behind “Run” Music Video The world came to a momentary standstill when an A-list cameo laden video “trailer” for Jay Z’s and Beyoncé’s Magna Carta love song “Part II (On The Run)” hit the net. After weeks of speculation on whether or not we would actually see a full-length feature to the provocative clip, director Melia Matsoukas puts the rumors to rest. Via ELLE This ‘Run’ video was straight-up epic. Take me through the process of how it came to life. Obviously I’ve worked with Beyoncé quite a bit; I know Jay through the years. We’ve been trying to work together for a couple of his albums and it just never came to fruition. I’d been dying to work with him and I love working with her, so it just felt like the perfect combination. With this song, it’s actually a music video—I know everyone’s calling it a trailer, which I guess it is as well. But it’s a music video for his song “Part II (On The Run).” I feel like [at this point] in Jay’s career he doesn’t want to just do a normal music video. So we were trying to come up with a way to visualize the song that wasn’t something that we’ve seen before. So I came up with this whole movie trailer idea and it just kind of progressed from there. We were talking about trying to hide the fact that it was a music video, and the idea was to release this trailer for this blockbuster that you’ll never see. It sounds like the idea was largely yours. How did Bey and Jay feel about it when initially pitched on it? Beyoncé was definitely really excited. Jay was a bit skeptical, but we were able to kind of force him into it. He’s always interested in doing something different so I think that part was exciting to him. I think he was hesitant about ‘Oh, now I have to be an actor.’ I was like, ‘If it works, great.
