Casey Anthony: I’ll Be a GREAT Mom to My Next Baby!!

Casey Anthony earned infamy after being acquitted in 2011 for the murder of her young daughter. To the horror of millions, Casey is a free woman, even though this has  destroyed her remaining family . And now, a chilling new report says that Casey is thinking about having another child. In Touch  reports that, according to a source close to the accused killer, Casey Anthony wants to have another child. “She’s been saying she’s ready to have a new family,” an insider claims. Casey’s last child’s skeletal remains were found with duct tape still on them within a trash bag in the woods near Casey’s house. Despite that, the source says, “she believes she has a bright future.” “And,” most jarringly of all, the insider saays that Casey believes that she “can be a good mom.” In case the current state of the world is not enough nightmare fuel for you, there’s this spine-chilling report. Linda Bills was one of the jurors for Casey Anthony’s infamous murder trial. Speaking to  In Touch , the former Juror Number Four admits that she does not like the idea of Casey being in charge of another defenseless child. “We did what we thought was right,” she says of the jury’s bizarre verdict. “[But] it took some time for [the case] to get out of your mind,” Linda admits. She shares that she has been haunted by the details, saying: “it stayed in my mind for a very long time.” Linda Bills says that, in light of how Casey’s daughter died, she is not exactly enamored with the thought of Casey giving the late Caylee a younger sibling. “I really don’t think she should have another child,” Linda admits. Though she could certainly say a lot more, she is reluctant to continue discussing the subject. “That’s all I want to say,” Linda concludes. Some would suggest that any jurors who feel that Casey should not have another child could have made sure of that by voting to convict. At the time, they felt that the state had not met its burden of proof. Back in 2017, Casey herself spoke to the Associated Press. “If I am blessed enough to have another child,” she said, filling readers with dread. Casey then rephrased. “If I’d be dumb enough to bring another kid into this world,” Casey said. “Knowing that there’d be a potential that some little snot-nosed kid would then say something mean to my kid.” So her worst fear is that her child might find out the grisly fate that her other child met. “I don’t think I could live with that,” Casey said with no hint of irony. In 2017, Casey warned  In Touch  that she doesn’t intend to remain hidden from the world forever. “Eventually people will be seeing more of me,” Casey announced. Returning to public life could very well mean having a child, as scary as that sounds. “I am not hiding from something I did not do,” Casey declared. That is a statement on which most people can agree, if not in the sense that Casey means. Of course, if you believe that she murdered Caylee, then you believe that she  is  hiding from something she  did  do. Ultimately, people may have to accept that, like O.J. Simpson and so many members of the current government, Casey may remain free. No matter what vicious crimes people feel extreme certainty that she committed, twelve random people decided that she gets to live her life. Maybe that’s the way that it should be. Or maybe that’s an indictment of our entire messy, deeply flawed “justice” system. We’ll just hope that the report that she’s considering bringing another child into the world is from a misinformed source. The alternative would keep too many people up at night. Rape Culture: Bill Cosby Juror Admits He Didn’t Believe Andrea Constand Because Of Her Attire

Image via Gilbert Carrasquillo/Pool/Getty Juror Admits Andrea Constand’s Attire Affected Credibility In Cosby Case Many were shocked and disappointed when the judge in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case declared a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a consensus verdict after 52 hours of deliberation. Slowly but surely, anonymous jurors have begun to speak about their thought process and the things they believed about the testimony they heard. One such juror spoke to DailyMail about why he didn’t really believe Andrea Constand’s story. It’s the unfortunate logic of many men when it comes to rape and sexual assault. “She was asking for it.” The juror said: ‘She was well-coached. Let’s face it: She went up to his house with a bare midriff and incense and bath salts. What the heck?’ While this juror would not reveal how he voted, it’s pretty clear from his statements that he likely did not vote to convict Cosby. He specifically felt that she should have gone to Cosby’s home only if she was ‘dressed properly and left the incense in the store’ in reference to a gift she brought him before the alleged assault. A different juror also revealed that the pool used the typical ignorant logic of time-lapse as a reason to disregard Constand’s testimony: ‘That’s hard for me to believe, that I’ve been injured and it takes a year to report,’ the juror said. ‘Whatever the man did, he’s already paid a price and suffered.’ It’s always a bit shocking to hear people say things like this when discussing the rape or sexual assault of a stranger, because it is HIGHLY unlikely that they would use such dismissive logic toward a woman in their family or a female friend. But there you have it, ignorance as usual.

Justice For Walter Scott: Trial Deadlocked After One Juror Refuses to Convict White Cop

Lone Juror Refuses To Convict White Cop That Killed Walter Scott Its starting to look like there may be no justice for Walter Scott , the unarmed black man gunned down by a white South Carolina cop. The jury remained deadlocked throughout Friday after all but one juror decided on a verdict for the officer Michael Slager, who shot a fleeing Scott in the back after a routine traffic stop and it was captured in video. In the recording, Scott can be seen running with some distance between himself and Slager, when Slager simply stopped, raised his gun, and fired five shots into Scott’s back. “I still cannot without a reasonable doubt convict the defendant,” the conflicted juror eventually wrote, in a letter delivered to Judge Newman. “I cannot and will not change my mind,” he wrote. The message would provoke Slager’s defense to request that the judge rules the case a mistrial, but instead, he allotted for extra time and encouraged the panel to reach a verdict. Slager faces 30 years to life in prison if convicted,  the judge has also allowed for the jury to consider voluntary manslaughter should they fail to agree on the more serious charge.

Black Juror In O.J. Simpson Trial Describes Not Guilty Verdict As “Payback For Rodney King”

O.J. Simpson Trial Juror Admits Not Guilty Verdict Was “Payback” Ezra Edelman’s five-part ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “”O.J.: Made In America” examines the long history of police brutality against Blacks in Los Angeles, including the Rodney King beating — wherein 4 officers beat an unarmed driver nearly to death, eventually to each be found not guilty of any crime. In part 5 of the documentary, O.J. Trial Juror Carrie Bess admits that she and about 90% of the other jurors were somewhat looking for payback for the mega controversial Rodney King not guilty verdict from three years earlier. In a clip previewed on public radio show “Fresh Air” earlier today, Bess let it be known that the LAPD’s dirty dealings were at the forefront of jurors’ minds as they deliberated the details of O.J.’s case : Interviewer: Do you think there are members of the jury that voted to acquit OJ because of Rodney King?Bess: Yes. Interviewer: You do? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: How many of you do you think felt that way? Bess: Oh, probably 90 percent of them. Interviewer: 90 percent. Did you feel that way? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: That was payback. Bess: Uh-huh. Interviewer: Do you think that’s right? To this question, Bess simply tosses her hands up in the air. Since pretty much EVERYONE is clear that O.J. more than likely committed the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, do you think the jurors were wrong for seeking the only vengeance they felt Black Americans could get at the time through this controversial case?? Fair Or Foul? Brooklyn DA Requests House Arrest, Five Years Probation For Cop Convicted In Akai Gurley Manslaughter

Is House Arrest A Fair Sentence For Cop Who Killed Unarmed Black Man? We ain’t feeling this at all… After a Brooklyn jury made a historic decision to convict a police officer in the killing of an unarmed black man , now a prosecutor is looking to let the former cop basically off the hook. According to NY Daily News reports : Jurors expressed shock and dismay Friday over Brooklyn District Attorney Kenneth Thompson’s recommendation of a no-jail sentence for the ex-NYPD cop who killed Akai Gurley. “What was the point of prosecuting him?” asked a 62-year-old juror who requested anonymity. “What did we do this for?” “I agree he doesn’t deserve tremendous time,” the juror added, “but if something is wrong, you shouldn’t get a slap on the wrist.” Former Officer Peter Liang faces up to 15 years in prison after he was convicted of manslaughter in the November 2014 slaying of Gurley, 28. The unarmed father was mortally wounded when a bullet fired by Liang ricocheted into his chest inside a darkened stairwell at the Pink Houses in East New York. We get it that he didn’t intentionally kill Gurley, but that hasn’t stopped other people guilty of accidental shootings from serving time. In fact, the juror who spoke out had a relative convicted of a similar shooting: The 62-year-old juror noted that his own father served more than seven years in prison for accidentally shooting a friend. “You cannot put away the average person’s thoughts here just because they are police officers,” the juror said. “They deserve to be prosecuted and sentenced just like everyone else who has the same background or committed the same crime.” Thompson has been under attack from Gurley’s loved ones and supporters since he sent a letter to the sentencing judge recommending Liang perform 500 hours of community service, five years’ probation and home confinement for six months. The Brooklyn resident said he believes Thompson was swayed by pressure from the Asian community, which vigorously protested the charges brought against Liang. “I think the Asian community played a lot with the DA’s decision and got to him,” the juror said. What do you think? How much do you believe race played a factor in the DA’s decision? Facebook/AP

Steven Avery: Juror’s Ties to Manitowoc Sheriff’s Department Exposed!

As the national obsession with the bizarre murder trials of Steven Avery and his young nephew Brendan Dassey continues to grow, new evidence of corruption on the part of the authorities who helped put him away seems to surface daily. Avery, of course, is the focus of the recent Netflix documentary series Making a Murderer , which covers both his wrongful imprisonment for sexual assault at the age of 23, as well as his arrest and conviction for the murder of Teresa Halbach two decades later. The filmmakers make a compelling case for why Manitowoc, Wisconsin law enforcement would have incentive to frame Avery and Dassey for Halbach’s murder, yet viewers of the series remain deeply divided on the question of whether police and prosecutors would have or even could have perpetrated such a conspiracy. Avery was on the verge of receiving a $36 million settlement from the county as a result of spending 18 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit, and Murderer establishes that several prominent local figures harbored intense hatred for Avery. At one point in the documentary, investigators are shown coaxing a confession out of Dassey – Avery’s mentally impaired 16-year-old nephew – apparently for no other reason than it would be easier to convict Avery if they could prove he had an accomplice. There’s too much damning evidence against the Manitowoc law enforcement and judicial systems to recount here, but after viewing the series in its entirety, even stalwart supporters of Avery are left with a number of questions: For example, if Avery didn’t kill Halbach, who did? And with so much at stake, how did Manitowoc officials ensure that the jury would turn in a guilty verdict? The first of those questions may have been answered yesterday when it was revealed that Steven believes his brothers Chuck and Earl Avery may murdered Halbach , but his theory was buried by the courts for six years. Earlier today, a shocking new allegation may have revealed the lengths to which prosecutors were willing to go to guarantee a favorable outcome for the state.  According to a report from the website OnMilwaukee.com, a man who frequently volunteered for the Manitowoc Sheriff’s Department was chosen to be on Avery’s jury  despite the obvious conflict of interest.  The site claims that the juror – Carl Wardman – was not just a local with law enforcement ambitions who went on the occasional ride-along, but an “an official and very active volunteer for the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department” who worked with deputies at the same time the trial was going on.  To make matters worse, sources say Carl Wardman’s son, Chris Wardman, “worked as a Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department supervisor in the jail during the trial.” Wardman admitted all of this during pre-trial screening, but Avery’s defense attorney, Dean Strang, says he was essentially forced to let him through, because at least at six other jurors appeared to be more biased against Avery than Wardman was. We understand this a complex case with a lot of conflicting evidence, but at this point, it’s hard to believe that any reasonable person wouldn’t at least have doubts as to whether or not Avery and Dassey committed the crimes of which they’ve been accuses.
