Today (Jan. 9), we get an official trailer for Trigger Warning with Killer Mike  and it looks like a woke winner.  The six-episode series finds Killer Kill from Adamsville trying to introduce people to “new thoughts and concepts.” Considering this is Killer Mike, that seems to include asking Creflo Dollar to lead his new faith, getting Crips to sell their own branded soda and devotedly spending money only in the Black community—which makes paying an Asian stripper an issue. Via seemingly outrageous and often hilarious situations, Killer Mike aims to smack you in the head and flip your perception of America. We’re sold. Warrant Issued For R. Kelly’s Former Manager James Mason

Source: Rick Kern / Getty According to CNN an arrest warrant was issued to R. Kelly’s former manager James Mason after he allegedly threatened to kill Joycelyn Savage’s father. Joycelyn Savage was one of the women seen in the documentary “Surviving R. Kelly” and her father claims in May of 2018 Mason told him he would kill him and do harm to his family if they didn’t stop speaking about R. Kelly and Joycelyn Savage Related:  R. Kelly Under Criminal Investigation Thanks To ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ Docuseries In July a judge issued a warrant for Mason for “terroristic threats and acts.” The Savages have not seen their daughter in two years and still believe she is being held against her will by R. Kelly. In 2017 she responded to the claims as being false, but with the new documentary exposing so much of R. Kelly’s personal life, many people don’t know what to believe. But a judge might be the one to get to the bottom of this. Click here to read more

O.J. Simpson Trial Juror Admits Not Guilty Verdict Was “Payback” Ezra Edelman’s five-part ESPN 30 for 30 documentary “”O.J.: Made In America” examines the long history of police brutality against Blacks in Los Angeles, including the Rodney King beating — wherein 4 officers beat an unarmed driver nearly to death, eventually to each be found not guilty of any crime. In part 5 of the documentary, O.J. Trial Juror Carrie Bess admits that she and about 90% of the other jurors were somewhat looking for payback for the mega controversial Rodney King not guilty verdict from three years earlier. In a clip previewed on public radio show “Fresh Air” earlier today, Bess let it be known that the LAPD’s dirty dealings were at the forefront of jurors’ minds as they deliberated the details of O.J.’s case : Interviewer: Do you think there are members of the jury that voted to acquit OJ because of Rodney King?Bess: Yes. Interviewer: You do? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: How many of you do you think felt that way? Bess: Oh, probably 90 percent of them. Interviewer: 90 percent. Did you feel that way? Bess: Yes. Interviewer: That was payback. Bess: Uh-huh. Interviewer: Do you think that’s right? To this question, Bess simply tosses her hands up in the air. Since pretty much EVERYONE is clear that O.J. more than likely committed the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman, do you think the jurors were wrong for seeking the only vengeance they felt Black Americans could get at the time through this controversial case?? Sacked: Oprah’s OWN Network Pumps The Brakes On Michael Sam’s Controversial Documentary

Well, that didn’t take long … Michael Sam’s OWN Documentary Postponed Via NYDailyNews Oprah has punted, for now, on a planned documentary series about openly gay NFL draftee Michael Sam. The Oprah Winfrey Network announced Friday it will postpone the untitled documentary, claiming it didn’t want to hurt the fledgling football star’s chances of making it onto the St. Louis Rams. The team drafted Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by the National Football League, last week in a ground-breaking moment for professional sports. Cameramen for the documentary would have followed the former University of Missouri defensive end as he tried to earn a spot on the squad. The show’s air date and the number of episodes were never announced. OWN Network president Erik Logan said postponing the documentary would give “Michael the best opportunity to achieve his dream of making the team.” “OWN is about elevating and empowering people to achieve their best,” he said in a statement. “It’s clear that we, along with the world, recognize the important opportunity that Michael now has in this moment.” We’re sure there are plenty of folks who are more than happy about this recent development. Being released on what would have been her 91st birthday, the documentary Bettie Page Reveals All certainly lives up to its title, revealing all of legendary pin-up Bettie Page , and we mean ALL of her! Bettie’s boobs, bush, and butt look great in color as well as black & white, so take your pick and stroke your prick! Both versions of the revenge flick Get Carter hit blu-ray today, but only the 1971 original features any flesh. A topless Britt Ekland and Geraldine Moffat will help you Get Harder! The 1983 slasher flick The House on Sorority Row also comes to blu-ray this week and features some nice nudity from Jodie Draigie and Eileen Davidson as a couple of dead meat sorority sisters! Finally making its way to dvd is 1985’s The Lost Empire ! Trapped on the dead VHS format for three decades, we can finally bask in the gorgeousness of Raven De La Croix , Angela Aames , and Tracey Adams in the altogether without all that annoying grain! Last, but certainly not least, is director Sidney Lumet ‘s harrowing 1964 drama The Pawnbroker . Now the new documentary Bettie Page Reveals All (2013) is illuminating the life of its mysterious, ever-mesmerizing subject with vast volumes of vintage snapshots and film clips from her eye-popping, show-stopping acts.
