According to her statements in the new book Unnecessary Roughness, written by Hernandez’s double-murder lawyer Jose Baez, Jenkins had no clue whatsoever that the man she was about to marry was gay or had gay thoughts. This excerpt comes via DailyMail : There has been much speculation about Aaron’s sexuality since his death. I can say this: Aaron was very much a man to me, writes Shayanna Jenkins in the forward to Jose Baez’s new book Unnecessary Roughness. ‘I saw no indication that he was gay or homosexual. I wish I had known how he felt, just so we could have talked about it. I wouldn’t have disowned him. I would have been supportive. I can’t fault him if he was feeling that way.’ She goes on to say: ‘When you love someone so much you just want to be there to support them. The fact that he felt he couldn’t come out to me or he couldn’t tell me these things hurts, because we had that bond,’ states Jenkins. ‘I’ve accepted that he may have been the way he was said to be, or that it may not be true. Regardless, I won’t know.’ This woman has been through it.

Great news for Jenelle Evans fans! And also for those of us who are fans of watching Jenelle be one of the hottest messes in the history of reality television! After months of negotiations, the Carolina Hurricane has finally signed her contract for the new season of Teen Mom 2. Yep, she's going to be back with Kailyn, Leah, Chelsea, and Briana for all the drama that the next season will surely bring! But how did it happen? How did MTV get her to agree to sign, especially in light of a tumultuous year that featured the firing of her own husband? Oh, just wait till you hear … 1. Dude Jenelle’s Teen Mom 2 gig has been up in the air for the better part of this year — ever since she shared that insensitive photo of herself with the assault rifle immediately after the Parkland school shooting back in February. 2. Going Downhill A few days after that, David went on his infamous homophobic rant, and he was pretty much immediately fired by MTV. 3. Ugh Jenelle never directly supported his statements, but she continued on with her “stand by your man” nonsense, and she certainly never said anything against his backward views. 4. So Long? At the time, there were lots of rumors that MTV was strongly considering firing Jenelle as well. 5. Way to Drag It Out This went on FOREVER. Seriously, for so long. 6. Well, Jenelle … At one point, she claimed to be starting her own show on YouTube, and she threatened to quit several times. View Slideshow
Even if you don’t recognize the name T.J. Miller, you’re almost certainly familiar with the comic and actor’s work. Star of the popular HBO sitcom Silicon Valley , Miller’s distinctive voice can be heard often, in everything from commercials to cartoons. And now, his name has been added to the ever-growing list of powerful men in Hollywood who have been accused of sexual assault. The Daily Beast has published an account by a woman whose name was not given due to fears of reprisal. She says she dated Miller when they were both students at George Washington University in Washington. The relationship reportedly ended following a violent sexual encounter that left the woman traumatized. “He just tried a lot of things without asking me, and at no point asked me if I was all right,” she tells the outlet. “He choke[d] me, and I kept staring at his face hoping he would see that I was afraid and [that he] would stop… I couldn’t say anything.” The woman, who was referred to only as “Sarah” in the piece, says Miller punched her in the face during the encounter, bloodying her lip and breaking a tooth. Others who attended GWU with Sarah and Miller have come forward to corroborate her account, revealing that the allegations against the actor were common knowledge on campus. “I attended George Washington University for undergraduate studies from 2000 until December 2003… I had a romantic relationship with [this] woman, who spoke with me about T.J. Miller sexually assaulting her,” attorney Matt Lord wrote in a statement issued to The Daily Beast . “At the time I believed the statements she made regarding the assault by Mr. Miller, and I continue to believe the statements she made are true.” Lord added: “She was engaged in student conduct proceedings regarding the sexual assault, and I remember the emotional toll that the assault and the subsequent conduct hearings placed on her.” Anonymous sources who have worked with Miller claim the actor has a history of dismissing the allegations by making light of them. Many believe that it’s for this reason that prominent female comics and actresses have declined to work with Miller. T.J. and wife Kate Miller issued a statement today in which they denied the allegations and attempted to discredit the accuser. This is the couple’s statement (which was posted alongside the photo below on Kate’s Instagram page) in its entirety: “We met this woman over a decade ago while studying together in college, she attempted to break us up back then by plotting for over a year before making contradictory claims and accusations. “She attempted to discredit both of our voices and use us against one another by trying to portray Kate to be a continuous abuse victim of T.J. (further efforts to hurt the two of us). “She was asked to leave our university comedy group because of worrisome and disturbing behavior, which angered her immensely, she then became fixated on our relationship, and began telling people around campus “I’m going to destroy them” & “I’m going to ruin him. “We are confident that a full consideration of accounts from and since that time will shed light and clarity on the true nature of not only this person’s character, but also on the real facts of the matter. (See the e-mails referenced). “We stand together in stating this is nothing more than an unfortunate resurgence of her lies designed to wreak havoc on two happily married people in the public eye.” We’ll have further updates on this developing story as more information becomes available. Source: Jeff Kravitz / Getty Rapper Nelly (real name Cornell Iral Haynes Jr.) has been arrested after a woman called the police claiming he raped her on his tour bus. Nelly is currently on tour with country-pop duo Florida Georgia Line and had just performed at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington when the alleged incident occurred. Our initial investigation, clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness. I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges. Source: Doug Pensinger / Getty Retired NBA All Star Kenyon Martin told Sports Illustrated that his comments about Brooklyn Nets guard Jeremy Lin ‘s locks were just playful banter, not racial hatred. K-Mart also revealed that his joke that Lin wants to be black caused some trolls to call him “nigger,” while others messaged his son. Martin said, “I recently erased the post off my page. People were sending messages to my son. Like, no. Say whatever to me and about me. I have thick skin. I know what my intentions were. But then those are the things that are coming across. You n—– this. Your n—– that. Sports Illustrated has the full interview, here are the highlights: Kenyon Martin: This was never meant to be racial. It was thought of as what would’ve been done in our locker room. It would’ve been jokes. We would’ve been making jokes. It’s far from racist. I guess saying “Wanting to be black” made it racial. But I despise people that look down because of race. It was meant to be a “Ha Ha Ha” moment. If you watch, I was laughing in the statements. It got taken too far. I wanted to clear the air. I don’t know Jeremy. He’s had a few crazy hairstyles before and I had the same thought process: ‘WTF.’ But I wasn’t trying to be racist. I didn’t even know he did the Players Tribune thing. RN: So to be clear, what was your intention? KM: If you listen to it, I was saying he wouldn’t have made it in our locker room. We would’ve made jokes every single day. He is a grown man. He can rock whatever hairstyle he wants to rock. People missed all of that. Just like I’m a grown man. I can say whatever I want. RN: Anything else you want to get off your chest? KM: I have no problem with Jeremy, man. People were attacking me, calling me racist or n—–. I didn’t call him any kind of derogatory thing. He has the right to rock any hairstyle he wants. It got out of control. It wasn’t meant to be anything more than banter. Jeremy is an athlete and I would hope he understood that this was in fun and not to offend and as long as he’s not offended that’s all that matters. I wish him well. RN: Have you spoken to Jeremy? KM: I DM’d him after the fact. I’m a grown man. I can admit if something got out of control or if I did something wrong. I’m trying to get his phone number as we speak so we can clear the air.
Image via Gilbert Carrasquillo/Pool/Getty Juror Admits Andrea Constand’s Attire Affected Credibility In Cosby Case Many were shocked and disappointed when the judge in Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case declared a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a consensus verdict after 52 hours of deliberation. Slowly but surely, anonymous jurors have begun to speak about their thought process and the things they believed about the testimony they heard. One such juror spoke to DailyMail about why he didn’t really believe Andrea Constand’s story. It’s the unfortunate logic of many men when it comes to rape and sexual assault. “She was asking for it.” The juror said: ‘She was well-coached. Let’s face it: She went up to his house with a bare midriff and incense and bath salts. What the heck?’ While this juror would not reveal how he voted, it’s pretty clear from his statements that he likely did not vote to convict Cosby. He specifically felt that she should have gone to Cosby’s home only if she was ‘dressed properly and left the incense in the store’ in reference to a gift she brought him before the alleged assault. A different juror also revealed that the pool used the typical ignorant logic of time-lapse as a reason to disregard Constand’s testimony: ‘That’s hard for me to believe, that I’ve been injured and it takes a year to report,’ the juror said. ‘Whatever the man did, he’s already paid a price and suffered.’ It’s always a bit shocking to hear people say things like this when discussing the rape or sexual assault of a stranger, because it is HIGHLY unlikely that they would use such dismissive logic toward a woman in their family or a female friend. But there you have it, ignorance as usual.

Kordell Stewart Sues Andrew Caldwell Remember when we told you that “delivert” viral video star Andrew Chad Caldwell admitted to making up a story about a gay affair with Kordell Stewart ? Well Porsha Williams’ ex-husband has officially filed a lawsuit against Caldwell and the radio station that entertained his smash story claims. The AJC reports: The suit, filed in DeKalb County Superior Court, also names “The Gospel Truth” creator and producer Jarrius Keyun Moon and Catalyst Next LLC, which controls the Internet morning show “The ShakeUP,” where Caldwell made statements claiming he and Stewart had a relationship. “At all times during his life, Mr. Stewart has been, and is, a heterosexual male,” the suit states. It claims that Caldwell, a cast member of the upcoming show “The Gospel Truth,” colluded with Moon to concoct a compelling fable “to generate interest for ‘The Gospel Truth.’” “The false and defamatory rumors that Mr. Caldwell and Defendant Moon agreed to publish are centered around Mr. Stewart having an extra-marital, sexual relationship with Mr. Caldwell,” it states. The suit notes that Caldwell first gained “notoriety and media attention as a result of a viral video of him at The Church of God in Christ’s annual convocation, in which he proclaims that he had been delivered from homosexuality.” The “ShakeUP” interview, the suit claims, was a fabricated effort to come up with a “story line” for Caldwell’s new role on “The Gospel Truth.” The “ShakeUP” interview lives on online, the suit states. “Although they are well aware that Mr. Caldwell has admitted that he lied on ‘The ShakeUP,’ Defendant Catalyst Next continues to proudly share and broadcast the Interview on their website online…although they know that the statements concerning Mr. Stewart are false. As a result of the Defendants’ continuous intentional and malicious conduct, Mr. Stewart has been subject to public embarrassment and ridicule as the statements have operated to impair his career, damage his reputation and cause acute anguish to him and his family.” Stewart seeks “general and special damages for … loss of earnings, emotional distress and impairment to his reputation.” WELP! Maybe Delivert can seek comfort in the arms of his “new girlfriend” ??? What do YOU think about Kordell Stewart’s lawsuit???
