Pray for these people . Tennessee Church Bus Crash Kills 8 and Injures 14 Sad. According to The NY Daily News A church bus crash on a highway in Jefferson County, Tenn., killed at least eight people and injured up to 14 others Wednesday, local media report. The bus’ left front tire burst about 2 p.m. heading east on Interstate 40 and it drifted into the median, causing it to collide with a tractor-trailer and a Chevrolet Tahoe, reported the Knoxville News Sentinel. The tractor-trailer immediately caught fire and the bus overturned as dark clouds stretched high into sky. Firefighters rushed to the scene and blasted water to extinguish the blaze but smoke was still rising from the wreck hours later. Among the dead were six bus passengers, the tractor-trailer’s driver and an SUV passenger, according to Dalya Qualls, an officer with the Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security. She told the Knoxville News Sentinel that the bus was carrying 18 people in total. Among the injured, eight are in critical condition and two are in serious condition, according to Susan Wyatt, spokeswoman for the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The bus was carrying senior churchgoers from the Front Street Baptist Church in Statesville, N.C. The group was coming back the 17th Annual Fall Jubilee in Gatlinburg, Tenn., The Statesville Record & Landmark newspaper reported. Acclaimed evangelist Rev. Charles Stanley spoke to attendees during the spiritual retreat, which was advertised as “three days of singing, laughing and preaching.” Fall Jubilee organizers shared their condolences on the retreat website. “Our thoughts are with our friends at Front Street Baptist Church in their tragic loss,” the statement said. All lanes on the highway in Jefferson County were closed throughout the afternoon as emergency crews rushed to the scene, local media said. The state’s department of transportation estimates that the highway will remain closed-off until about 9 p.m. tonight. It’s sad they were returning from a jubilee, “singing, laughing and preaching,” and then they get hit by a tractor-trailer. Damn. WBIR-TV

Johnny Knoxville’s Back To His Jackass Ways In Exclusive ‘Bad Grandpa’ Poster
One-hour show, airing November 28 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, will feature new footage of the late stuntman from his ‘Viva la Bam’ and ‘Jackass’ days. By James Dinh Ryan Dunn Photo: Jon Furniss/ WireImage As promised, the life of late “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn will be celebrated in a one-hour MTV special , airing Monday, November 28, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, the network announced Thursday (November 17). The tribute to the stuntman, who died at age 34 in a Pennsylvania car crash in June, will give viewers an intimate look into Ryan’s life, from his early years in Ohio, to his antics with the Jackass crew, to his untimely death. Among the many close friends who will appear in the special are Johnny Knoxville, Rob Dyrdek, Wee Man, Chris Pontius, Jeff Tremaine and Bam Margera. Dunn’s fans will be able to catch never-before-seen footage of the star from his time on “Viva la Bam,” “Jackass” and much more. While Knoxville admitted that Dunn’s death is still “a surreal thing to undertake,” he explained his reasons for serving as one of the special’s executive producers, alongside Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze and Derek Freda. “I still can’t believe he’s gone but we wouldn’t trust anyone else with this, so we are doing the best we can for Ryan, his family, friends, and everyone who loved him,” Knoxville said in a statement. Van Toffler, president of Viacom’s Music Group, also shared his thoughts on the memorial special: “Weaving together footage of Ryan for this special reminds us all of what a special friend he was to so many. He is sorely missed by his MTV family and fans, but his mischievous, caring spirit lives on.” Before the tribute kicks off, MTV will air three episodes of the Dyrdek-hosted “Ridiculousness,” beginning at 9 p.m. After encore episodes featuring Knoxville and Tremaine, fans will be treated to a brand-new episode of the series, which features one of Dunn’s final television appearances. In the episode, the star highlights some of the Internet’s most entertaining viral videos with the help of Rob and friends Chanel and Sterling “Steelo” Brim. This isn’t the first time friends and family have come together to remember Dunn’s legacy . Shortly after his death, “Jackass” co-star Rick Kosick cut together a five-and-a-half-minute montage of the star’s most memorable moments in a clever yet emotional video set to Roger Alan Wade’s “The Light Outlives the Star.” Don’t miss the “Ryan Dunn Tribute Special,” airing Monday, November 28, at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Bam Margera even strips down for the ad, one of four movie spoofs the crew shot. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Matt Elias Johnny Knoxville in a parody of “The Social Network” Photo: MTV News In anticipation of the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards next week, MTV News enlisted the cast of “Jackass 3D” to help spread the word about the star-studded event, by way of four hilarious parodies of the Critics’ Choice nominees for Best Picture. We caught up with our favorite merry band of misfits — Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, etc. — during the filming of their take on “The Social Network” to get the lowdown on the movie spoofs. In the “Social Network” scene we watched them shoot, Knoxville and company take on a tense boardroom, but in predictably outrageous fashion. Knoxville plays Mark Zuckerberg in a blond curly wig and Margera is an interrogator trying to get Zuckerberg’s attention by opening up the shirt of another person at the table (“Jackass” castmember Dave Englund) and licking his armpit. “We’re spoofing four movies. We’ve never done anything like this before,” Knoxville said. “So God knows how they’re going to turn out. I play Mark Zuckerberg; Wee-Man and Preston play the Winklevoss twins.” There is also a clip of Margera sprawled out on a conference table, totally naked — a situation Knoxville and Margera felt obligated to explain. “Poor Bam, the room was ice-cold,” Knoxville said. “Everyone, please know that the room was ice-cold in there.” “Every time that I’m naked, it’s always cold out,” Margera protested. “It’s Los Angeles, and it’s freezing.” “He could be standing on the equator, and he’d call it cold out,” Dunn added, nixing Margera’s masked attempts to make excuses for his physical appearance in the scene. Tune into the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Friday, January 14, on VH1.

‘So much great stuff got left out of the film,’ the ‘Jackass 3D’ star says of saving high jinks for Christmas DVD release. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Johnny Knoxville and Jim Cantiello Photo: MTV News “Jackass 3D” is not even in theaters yet, but one of its stars, Johnny Knoxville, is already talking sequel. Knoxville says the crew shot so many high jinks for the movie, opening October 15, that they couldn’t get them all in. But Knoxville has plans for the scenes left on the cutting-room floor. “Man, we filmed so much stuff. So much great stuff got left out of the film because we just overshot,” Knoxville explained to MTV News. “That’ll be in ‘[Jackass] 3.5,’ coming out at Christmas,” he said of a DVD release.
