The Pope celebrated on Sunday by reflecting on the joy of children and the importance that they are raised with the faith. He said about the choice to spend his birthday helping out the kids, “the joy of children is a treasure, and we ought to do everything so that they continue to be joyous.” The pizza that Pope Francis requested was a 13-foot long selection, which has one large candle for the birthday boy himself to blow out while backed by the children. He then encouraged the children to eat the pizza, saying it will make them grow.   As pope turns 81, kids entertain with song, dance and 13-foot pizza https://t.co/2bhNh977j5 pic.twitter.com/htRjQkZqNa — Catholic News Service (@CatholicNewsSvc) December 18, 2017 “A joyous spirit is like good land that grows life well, with good fruit,” he said in his Vatican meeting with the children being treated by the Pediatric Dispensary of Santa Marta. Pope Francis encouraged the children to speak with their grandparents. Grandparents “have memory, have roots, and it will be the grandparents that give roots to the children,” he said. Before eating, he prayed the Hail Mary with the children. People on Twitter have long been big fans of Pope Francis, and a 13-foot pizza–especially one that helps sick children–is even more reason to love the man. In the past, Donald Trump and Pope Francis have not seen eye to eye on several issues. It's mostly because the only thing they have in common is that they are both white male human beings, though the “human being” bit is still up for debate on Trump's end. But still, they put their differences aside yesterday for a meeting in Vatican City. And oh, what a joyous time it was. In photos released from the meeting, Pope Francis looks absolutely miserable. Trump is smiling, Ivanka and Melania are wearing black dresses and veils … It's a mess. A glorious, hilarious mess. And you know Twitter is here for it. 1. A Remarkable Resemblance The Trumps do look a little like The Addams Family here, but they wish they could be as iconic. 2. Poor Pope We’d want ice cream too, bud. 3. NYPD Detective Arrested For Fondling Himself In Front Of Teenage Girls Its usually “ f**k the police “, but in this case it appears to be the police f**kin’ themselves. An ABC7NY report details the arrest of NYPD Detective Robert Francis who was caught FOUR separate times fondling himself in the backyard of suburban neighborhoods in Long Island…in front of TEENAGE girls. The incidents took place on February 5, 25, 27 and March 24 and three of the girls were 16 and one was 17. It is also said that Francis wasn’t exactly trying to be low-key with his horny hi-jinx, he allegedly would shine his flashlight into the window of the homes to get victims’ attention and THEN flash them and fondle himself. Reign Season 2 Episode 10 Recap: Have Mercy?

Reign aired the most controversial scene on network television last week, leaving many to wonder how the rape storyline would be followed up on  Reign Season 2 Episode 10 . How would the series both respect Mary’s traumatic experience … while also providing storyline fodder across the board on a winter finale meant to leave viewers hanging off a cliff in anticipation of the show’s 2015 return? Watch Reign Season 2 Episode 10 Online Before delving into the specifics of the episode, let’s start by giving mad props to Adelaide Kane. She has been tremendous all season long, capping that run with her best performance to date last night. Consider: Mary’s eyes widening as Louis stepped towards her, symbolic her new instinct to fear. Then, of course, there was the anger and fury and pain when Mary douses her rapist in fire.. only for her to then realize this suffering did not ease her own. Great stuff. Emotional stuff. In all of these ways, Reign ensured that Mary’s experience was taken very seriously. As for Francis? He took another step toward becoming his father this week. We saw him lean down towards a shackled Narcisse, lock eyes with him and tell imprisoned noble that a single wrong move will get him “slaughtered in the dead of night.” Could anyone have imagined these words of actions coming from the Francis of Reign Season 1 ? We were left mostly confused about Catherine de Medici, however, and we didn’t receive an answer about whether or not Claude is dead. (So we’re gonna assume Claude is not dead.) So there’s something to look forward to when Reign returns on January 22. Until then, you can always watch Reign online , as we leave you with Mary’s powerful words from the winter finale: I’m not ashamed of what happened to me. I was wronged by evil men. It was an act of war.
