George Lucas Says ‘Star Wars’ Was Sold To “White Slavers” Even after clocking over $1 billion at the box office worldwide in just a few days, OG Star Wars creator George Lucas ain’t feelin’ the new version of his baby. In fact, Lucas feels like the new producers just bit his whole style from the original flick and didn’t do enough to make “The Force Awakens” it’s own entity. Now before you go and weep for Lucas and his tragically bastardized creativity, be aware that he sold Lucasfilm to Disney in 2012 for, wait for it…$4 BILLION! Boo-the-f***-hoo, George Lucas. Daniele Watts took to Facebook late last week in outrage after she was detailed on suspicion of prostitution for showing affection to her boyfriend after police caught the two in an intimate embrace. Watts is African-American and her boyfriend, celebrity chef Brian James Lucas, is white. “Today I was handcuffed and detained by 2 police officers from the Studio City Police Department after refusing to agree that I had done something wrong by showing affection, fully clothed, in a public place,” the actress, who stars as Martin Lawrence’s daughter on FX’s Partners, wrote on Facebook Thursday. According to the official police statement, “patrol officers from North Hollywood Division responded to a radio call of indecent exposure” at the time and happened upon “two individuals that matched the description of the suspects.” Authorities say the suspects “were briefly detained” and “upon further investigation it was determined that no crime had been committed. Ms. Watts and her companion were subsequently released.” Lucas also sounded off on the incident in his own Facebook post Friday. He believes race played a key factor. “From the questions that he asked me as D was already on her phone with her dad, I could tell that whoever called on us (including the officers), saw a tatted RAWKer white boy and a hot bootie shorted black girl and thought we were a HO (prostitute) & a TRICK (client),” Lucas wrote. “So they handcuffed her and threw her roughly into the back of the cop car until they could figure out who she was. In the process of handcuffing her, they cut her wrist, which was truly NOT COOL!!! Of course, they had to let her go eventually cuz we weren’t a threat to anyone.” Watts, who also played a role in Django Unchained, did not give the officers her ID when asked because “they had no right” to ask, Lucas said. An internal complaint investigation has been initiated regarding this matter, according to The Los Angeles Police Department.
