David Beckham has announced that he is retiring at the end of this season. “I’m thankful to PSG for giving me the opportunity to continue but I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level,” Beckham said in a statement. The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has also played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and the Los Angeles Galaxy, winning league titles in four countries overall. “If you had told me as a young boy I would have played for and won trophies with my boyhood club Manchester United, proudly captained and played for my country over one hundred times and lined up for some of the biggest clubs in the world, I would have told you it was a fantasy. I’m fortunate to have realized those dreams,” Beckham said. Beckham owns the British record for making 115 appearances with the national team. It’s unclear exactly what he’ll do when his playing days are done, but it’s safe to assume more David Beckham underwear ads are on the way. I have to say that I never ever thought in a thousand years that I would be writing my own Bieber Experience. My name is Paula, I’m 16 and I’m from a little town in Barcelona, Spain . Everything started on July 2009 when a friend of mine showed me a video of a little boy from Canada, the video was ‘One Time.’ I liked it at first and I saw that it was the only song he had. Months later, I heard about Justin Bieber and his album My World . I listened to his new songs and I started to like him more and more until I made a Twitter account to follow him: @BarcelonaBieber. I just wanted him to notice that there was a lot of Beliebers in Barcelona. He followed me a few weeks later! 6 months later, he announced that he was coming here. I was so happy, I knew that my dream was about to come true. On April 6th, 2011 I went to his concert in Barcelona. Justin also came 2 more times to Madrid to “El Hormiguero.” I couldn’t go to Madrid, but the same day he went there, on 11/11/11, he re-tweeted me! I felt so special. In July 2012 I bought tickets to see him again in Barcelona, on March 16th 2013 for the Believe Tour and was so excited. For me, meeting Justin was something “impossible” because meet and greet tickets are very expensive. Something inside of me was telling me “You gotta try, you can make it happen.” 3 weeks before the concert I decided to participate in all the different contests to win M&G passes. Then 3 days before the concert, a radio show called “Euroclub” made the last contest to get M&G passes and I decided to enter. I had to send an image announcing his fragrance Girlfriend. They chose the best 20 pictures and THEY CHOSE ME, but I ended up in second place. The day before the concert, as I wasn’t going to meet him, I decided to go to his hotel. I live in an hour from Barcelona so I couldn’t go alone and I had school the same day. One of my best friends, that is not a belieber, told me she was going to go with me because she knew that it was so important to me. We got on the train to Barcelona and arrived at the hotel. During this time I checked my phone and I noticed that I had an e-mail. I opened it and it was from Bieberfever. “OMG THEY CHOSE ME TO MEET JUSTIN!!!” I was in shock, I couldn’t believe it. I called my other friend Mar and I told her that I won the M&G. I told her that she was going with me to meet Justin. She was screaming on the phone. The next day, March 16th 2013 was the big day. I got up early and my parents brought me to the Palau Sant Jordi, where Justin was having his concert. In the M&G line I couldn’t believe what was about to happen. We saw the black curtains, Justin was inside of there! We had to make groups, and our group was of 7 people. Finally, it was our turn. I almost couldn’t walk. I entered last and I saw Justin. OMG HE WAS SO PERFECT! A girl asked him to do a “funny picture” and he said that it was fine. The security men was so rude and we couldn’t have time for anything. They put us for the picture and Justin said, “Alright guys, funny photo, funny!” I could just smile, I couldn’t do a “funny face” at the moment. I’m Emma, I’m seventeen and I live in Barcelona, Spain. I can’t believe this is the third Bieber experience that I’m writing, I can’t tell you how thankful I am. When European tickets were on sale in July, I was only going to the Barcelona show since I live there. Some months after, I thought that seeing Justin in just one concert wasn’t enough so I thought that going to Bilbao would be perfect. I bought my concert ticket and the plane flights, and 5 DAYS AFTER, the show got cancelled. Thankfully the concert got moved to Madrid and I got the best section. I’m a BieberFever member and they were doing a contest for meet and greets. I won, they sent me an e-mail a day before the concert, and I was pretty SHOCKED I was having the chance too meet him again! March 14th, 2013 came and I arrived to Madrid after a long 8 hours bus trip. After collecting our meet and greet wristbands, they told us that winners were going to be 6 per picture, and in my group we were four. We talked about where we were going to be in the picture. The queue started moving and it was our turn. We got into the meet and greets ”room” and we saw how Justin took a pic with the other girls who were in front of us. When they finished taking the picture, Justin looked at me and started dancing the dougie and saying silly things and smiling so big. I started walking and he was like “Hi” and I was like “Hi.” I stood next to him for the picture waiting for the other girls to come, and while waiting I had Justin’s left check literally in front of my face , and I thought ”kissing him would be a good idea” so I was about to but security was pushing me away saying that I had to move to the other side. I was so pissed, but I didn’t move. We took the picture and then I was in front of him and he was staring at me. I was smiling and I was like ”omg what should I ask him now” so I asked him, “How are you?” and he said smiling so big, “I’m good, thanks” so the little girl and the curly haired girl like jumped to hug him. While they were hugging, I was face to face with Justin again. Then Justin was like, ”GIVE ME A HUG, GIVE ME A HUG!!” So that’s what I did! I CAN’T BELIEVE JUSTIN ASKED ME FOR A HUG. I finished hugging him when he said, “Okay alright, thank you,” and the other girls were still hugging him and he said, “Alright, let me go, let me go.” It was so funny, he was like, ”Thank you thank you,” so security was pushing us to go out of the room. My name is Sara, and I’m a Spanish belieber. I can’t believe I am writing my own Bieber Experience. I saw Justin at his My World tour date in Madrid, Spain and I also say him at the TV show “El Hormiguero,” but truly my Bieber Exprience started over the summer. I was on my computer ready to buy a ticket. I actually only wanted a regular ticket to go because I knew it would have been impossible for the VIP meet and greet. Thankfully my mum gave me the possibility, and we bought one to Barakaldo, Bilbao, another city in Spain. We were almost ready to go, (my mum, and I) but my dreams were broken 31 days before the show. My best friend sent me a message saying me that the concert was cancelled for logistic problems, and it was not a joke. All I could think was, “WHY ME, WHY MY DREAM, WHY MY COUNTRY!” I was almost dying of sadness until Ticketmaster decided to change the city for the concert to Madrid. The only problem was they wouldn’t validate my tickets, only would refund me my money. What about my plans, my feelings, 7 months waiting and now nothing! I had to wait for the new ticket sales again and I was praying all the week for these tickets. I want to thank God, for giving me again the opportunity and to my best friend Yurena, because all the week she was saying ‘never say never.’ I ended up getting a VIP ticket so we travelled to Madrid! The night before the concert I obviously couldn’t sleep and we went outside Justin’s hotel. There was lots of beliebers there but we didn’t see him. The next morning, I woke up and I jumped out of bed saying, “Today is the day!!!” I took the subway to Palacio de Deportes, the location of the concert. At 5:12 p.m I went into the VIP room to wait for Justin. I gave my present to a really friendly coordinator girl (a card and a mirror rubric cube for Justin). Finally I looked up and I couldn’t believe it. He was there, I was seeing Justin Bieber, yes my idol! I put my arms around him, and he put his hand on my shoulder. I smiled with all my strength, and he said me “Hello” and I answered “Hi.” I was shocked. We took the photo and he said me, “Are you okay?” and I answered “Yeah!” UNBELIEVABLE. My name is Patricia, I’m 17, and I’m from Spain (Madrid). Everything started when I was on my holidays in California. My mom called me to ask how I was doing over there and I told her that everything was perfect. Then she told me that the tour dates in Europe came out for Justin and that there were meet and greet ones and she had already bought one for me! I was the happiest girl ever because I’ve been waiting for a chance like this since I found him singing “Ay Ay, Me plus you, Imma tell ya one time…” Justin had come to Madrid 4 times and all those times, I’ve done everything to try to meet him but it was impossible. My name is Karolina, I’m 21 years old and I live in Warsaw, Poland. I met Justin Bieber 5 times in 3 days. I am a perfect example of person who was attached to Justin after watching “NEVER SAY NEVER” so much, that I tattooed the famous words ‘Never Say Never’ to the inside my left arm . Everything started 9 months ago (I’m not a belieber who has been supporting Justin from the beginning) but honestly a devoted/true belieber! My story is a little bit different. I hope that you remember Justin’s shirt he wore in California, “DOING REAL STUFF SUCKS.” It was May 25th, the best day of my life because about 2 weeks before he showed up, I had sent him a package with two DOING REAL STUFF SUCKS t-shirts (one for him, one for Selena) and the sweatshirt inside from my own young brand LOCAL HEROES . Can you imagine the feeling when Justin wore a gift you gave him. It was the day when craziness had started. Justin wore the tee in many videos! I still can’t believe it! Basically it’s not over yet. Almost one week after this, I was on a plane to Madrid to meet Justin in person. I had to tell him personally that I’m the girl from “DOING REAL STUFF SUCKS.” I landed in Madrid on June 3rd, 2 days before confirmed meeting by Team Bieber. Honestly I was scared that it was first time in Madrid, all around the Spanish language and poor me alone. At the front of his hotel, I met amazing beliebers. Finally I met Justin Bieber for my first ever time! Everybody started to run by the black posh car inside an underground parking lot. Everybody knew that it was Justin. The gate has been closed and we started to shout his name. It worked. I SAW JUSTIN BIEBER! He came with his big beautiful smile, amazing energy like holy Jesus. He was with Moshe of course and Alfredo with his video camera. ( The video from Justin’s Viddy ) It was only seconds but one of the best of my life. After this I was waiting in front of the hotel until 2 a.m. but he didn’t appear, only Kenny Hamilton, Dan Kanter and Scrappy. The next day started for me at 8 a.m. We were waiting in line by the front of the hotel for about 8 hours, in hot sunny weather to see Justin again. Everything for our idol. I cried so much that day because some beliebers broke the rules and Justin had to be escorted by the police since it was dangerous. Again, it was only seconds. That day Justin also performed on a Spanish TV show “El Hormiguero.” We got a taxi and went to the studio. The thought that Justin was on air, inside the building and we were watching the show outside, was more insane. During the show, he showed up at the window to wave and sing “Boyfriend,” along with the fans outside. It was the best moment because I truly felt like we are a BIG BELIEBER FAMILY. The next day was the day when I personally met Justin, his father, little Jazmyn and the whole team. I couldn’t imagine a better day in my life. The meeting was scheduled at 1:03 p.m. I was outside the Hotel Ritz one hour before. I looked like one of the beliebers waiting in front of the hotel but not really. I was wearing the same “DOING REAL STUFF SUCKS” tee as Justin got it from me. It was the only wait to be remembered. At 12:40 p.m., the lady from Spanish Universal came down to get me and this was the moment when my heart started beating so loud. (I’m so happy that I didn’t pass out while waiting in front of his door.) Suddenly the door opened. I saw little cute barefoot Jazmyn whispering something to Jeremy with her sweet childish voice. Awwwww! I really wanted to take a pic but it wasn’t not allowed. I was there as a fan and journalist, so I had to be professional…Yeah, right. At 1:03 p.m, the door opened again. Finally, it was Kenny with his friendly smile. I introduced myself, he also and we got inside. Justin was not in the room, only a lot of professional lights and a camera. Kenny started talking about the rules of interview, but I told him the reason why I was there. At that moment I turned my head and I saw Justin. Oh GOD! It was the most amazing view, feeling and everything. I couldn’t breathe. Kenny asked him, “Does it look similar? ” He pointed my t-shirt. Justin smiled charmingly and said, “Yes, you sent it to meeeee!” and hugged me tight. I was in heaven. It was like I was day dreaming. He signed my t-shirt that I was wearing . I remember only half of the meeting because I was still shaking. Justin tried to calm me down by hugging me, but it was impossible. I met my IDOL so how could I be calm? Accidentally, I almost kissed his neck. He smells so good, like a fresh confident man but little bit like a cute boy. We had a small talk because I had only 2 minutes, but it was the best of my entire life. One of the biggest surprises was that he wants more stuff from my brand! In my head was a big chaos. Then time was up! I left Kenny my Twitter and 15 minutes later, he followed me! Outside the hotel was still the small group of fans. When I saw them, I totally cried. Everybody hugged me. Thank you guys for your support. The fifth time when I met Justin was about one hour after meeting him in the building. I knew that it was my last chance to see him so I was waiting until he came out, it was also my last day in Spain. Suddenly, team Bieber appeared in the lobby. It was a really nice feeling when Kenny asked me why I was still there, he remembered me! This is the last video recorded by me of Justin greetings fans. The last insane thing is, that when Justin saw me in my tee, he surely knew what he packed from LA to Europe. A couple days after our meeting, he showed up in me “DOING REAL STUFF SUCKS” sweatshirt in BERLIN.
