If you ask the ladies right now, the Dad Bod is hot. That is, men with shabby bodies are the new trend in masculine hotness. Move over Calvin Klein models. Forget the weights. Forget the package-hugging briefs. Women want loose skin and flabby, hairy bellies. Think John Hamm, Seth Rogen, Vince Vaughn. Sure, these guys are attractive, but is the dad body something men should be striving for? Yes! Other dudes are hot too, but at least these guys are real. The guy in the video might not be Magic Mike, but he is a normal dude, who apparently has a good sense of humor. This is a stark contrast to the standards for feminine beauty—where women are held to increasing and impossible standards. Here's to hoping the Mom Bod becomes the new standard! Maybe the best thing about the Dad Bod is that it doesn't come with the douchey, bro personality that often accompanies the gym rats. We hope…
It’s a whole new world (see what we did there) with the increase of technology, and Disney doesn’t like it one bit. Disney theme parks are banning the use of selfie sticks, politely asking everyone to get the f–k over themselves. The ban is in effect for rides at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim. Generally a stupid trend in the first place, the selfie stick can also be a safety issue while flailing through the air at a million miles an hour upside down with small children nearby. The tools are still allowed in the parks, just not on the rides . Earlier this year, reports from the Magical Kingdom claimed that operators on certain attractions and rides asked for everyone to stow their selfie sticks. The company has never allowed visitors to stick objects outside of the rides. But the weird popularity of selfie sticks has caused repeated safety issues. Signs have now been posted as “a continuation of our communication efforts at a few key attractions,” Disney said in an email to the Orlando Sentinel. Apparently, this has become such an issue that Universal Studios Orlando has installed metal detectors to ensure riders aren’t carrying loose objects. That would include selfie sticks. Fortunately (or unfortunately for the rest of us who have to see the shared results) you can still use them at home … View Slideshow: 21 Worst Mom Selfies of All-Time

Disneyland is definitely not the happiest place on earth for little black children… It turns out that the white “Alice In Wonderland” rabbit that was hatin’ on lil Elijah and Jason Black ain’t the only racist character at Disneyland. Via NY Daily News reports : The lawyer for a black San Diego family that claimed they were discriminated against by a Disney character during a trip to Disneyland said he’s received dozens of calls from people alleging the same thing. “I’ve gotten many emails and voicemails that I’m looking into. What this tells me is this isn’t an isolated incident,” attorney Dan Gilleon told San Diego’s ABC 10 News. “It doesn’t mean Disneyland is racist, but they have some people in the company who aren’t playing by the rules and are being discriminatory.” On Thursday, a second family came forward to say their two children were ignored by someone playing Donald Duck during a trip to the Magic Kingdom in December. Nastasia White, who is black, told 10 News the person in the duck suit ignored two requests to take a photo with her children, Razzi, 5, and Ryder, 2, and played with white children instead. “[Razzi] was sitting there with his arms open, saying, ‘Donald, Donald!’” White, of Los Angeles, said. White told the station she wasn’t overreacting because the character’s brush-off “was done in a blatant and ugly way.” The White family has hired Gilleon to pursue their case. Disney has not responded to the Daily News’ request for comment. Earlier this week, the company said they carefully review all claims from guests at their parks and hotels. Earlier this week, Jason and Annelia Black, of San Diego, claimed their children and cousins were ignored by someone dressed as the White Rabbit character from “Alice in Wonderland” in August. The Blacks, who are black, claimed the costumed character turned away from them to play with some white and Asian families. Gilleon told the Daily News that Disney officials tried to duck the family’s complaint by offering VIP passes worth $500 in exchange for a signed statement clearing the Magic Kingdom of any wrongdoing. The Black family was suing Disney for violating California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act, which outlaws discrimination based on race, sex and other qualities, Gilleon said. Gilleon claimed the snub was caught on security video, and he plans to subpoena Disney for it. Violation of the Unruh act carries a penalty of $25,000. The Blacks planned to claim anywhere from three to ten violations — based on the number of children present during the alleged snub — and also plans to also seek attorney’s fees and damages, including the cost of the trip, Gilleon said. Kinda funny that the two families involved have the last names White and Black. But there is nothing funny about this discrimination. Disneyland better bow down or pay the fawk up!!! ‘My involvement is just to be as supportive as I can be,’ former ‘Iron Man’ director tells MTV News. By Eric Ditzian Jon Favreau Photo: MTV News When Jon Favreau bowed out of the “Iron Man” franchise in December, the filmmaker made clear he remained on good terms with Marvel execs and that he’d stay within the studio family as an executive producer on the upcoming superhero all-star flick, “The Avengers.” But with Favreau busy with directorial duties on the alien-Western hybrid “Cowboys & Aliens” and prep work on “Magic Kingdom,” his Disney World-set family picture, it remained to be seen how involved he’d be with “Avengers,” which kicked off filming in April. Now, as the “Avengers” teaser trailer has leaked (after appearing in the post-credits sequence of “Captain America”) and fans have gotten their first look at what director Joss Whedon has done with that collection of superheroes, we’re also getting an idea of Favreau’s role in the action. “My involvement is just to be as supportive as I can be. Most of the cast is people that came onboard to work with me on the ‘Iron Man’ film, so I feel a sense of responsibility to them. I really hope it works out,” Favreau told MTV News while promoting “Cowboys & Aliens.” “I’m not in the trenches with them and I’m not making creative decisions on their behalf, but I’m completely available and of service.” That’s a far cry from how fans might have thought things would play out back in 2008, when Favreau said he’d be open to directing “Avengers.” But in October 2009, MTV News broke the news he wouldn’t be helming the film, and after “Iron Man 2” hit theaters last year, he ceded directorial duties on that franchise to Shane Black . These days, Favreau said Whedon is a far better choice to direct “Avengers” than he ever would be. “They have Joss Whedon, who’s a very talented guy and is really good with ensembles and really understands the superhero genre better than I do,” Favreau explained. “I understand ‘Iron Man’ very, very well, especially the ‘Iron Man’ movie and the cast and the characters all built to one thing. But there are other characters that I don’t know. Each filmmaker had a different approach to how they went about it — ‘Captain America’ is coming out, ‘Thor.’ The combining of all those things is going to be its own thing in and of itself that Joss has embraced and wrote the script. I expect big things.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Avengers.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com .
MTV pilot was shot in September. By Gil Kaufman “Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D Photo: Bobby Bank/ WireImage You may be seeing a lot more of “Jersey Shore” star Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio in 2011. MTV announced Wednesday (December 22) that the network has signed an option deal for a series starring the perfectly coiffed club kid that will look at the Providence, Rhode Island, native’s life outside of the Shore. A pilot of the show was shot by 495 Productions, the company behind “Shore,” in September. “At the heart of ‘Jersey Shore’ is the unique and genuine cast and Pauly D truly embodies both qualities,” Chris Linn, executive vice president of programming and head of production for MTV, said in a statement. “He’s distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can’t help but want to hang out with. We know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that.” Along with pals Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the “Shore” gang, Pauly has helped turn the show into a cultural phenomenon. The third season of “Shore” will kick off January 6. Though he’s the first “Shore” castmember to get a shot at a spin-off series, like his housemates, Pauly D has been keeping busy when not filming the MTV show. He dropped his first single, “Beat Dat Beat,” last year and was nominated for the “America’s Best DJ” competition for the second year in a row. He’s also locked down a DJ residency in Las Vegas and will perform at “Disney’s Grad Nite 2011” at Magic Kingdom Park. But first, he’ll be on hand on New Year’s Eve with the gang to help ring in 2011 on MTV . Don’t miss “MTV New Year’s Bash,” starting at 10:30 p.m. ET on New Year’s Eve! In the wake of so many celebrity splits – farewell, Ryan and Scarlett; best of luck, Tony and Eva – it’s nice to be reminded of a couple that appears happier than ever, isn’t it? Such is certainly the case for Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa, who were married one year ago yesterday. The twosome celebrated this occasion at Walt Disney World, as seen above. Sources say they booked Cinderella’s Castle Suite last night. We’ll let readers use their own imagination for why. But let’s just say that if rumors of Danielle’s pregnancy are false, perhaps they won’t be in the near future. Congratulations to this adorable couple!
