Kristen Stewart tells the Chicago Sun-Times that she was inspired to play “wild, sexy girl” Marylou in On The Road , despite pushing her own boundaries. The actress says her sex scenes were “necessary,” that Marylou was surprisingly self-aware, and that in the end, “human beings are just animals.” “It’s about fiercely living and squeezing every single drop out of life and not denying any aspects of it,” she said, calling the sex scenes “non-gratuitous.” Stewart, 22, played against type in the 2012 adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s classic American novel, shedding any semblance of her inner Bella Swan. If you saw it … there was nothing PG-13 about Stewart’s role. “So much is clearly illustrated through her sexuality in her film,” Kristen Stewart said of her Marylou. “But there was nothing about it that seemed gratuitous.” “It all just seemed so necessary. There was simply no question that this would be a more sexual role. 14-Year-Old Boy Gets 25-50 Years In Prison AFter Fatally Shoots His Mother In Her Sleep A Detroit teenager who shot his mother multiple times while she slept before also attempting to shoot his younger sister has been sentenced to 25-50 years in prison. via News One A teenage boy has been sentenced to serve 25 to 50 years in prison for killing his 36-year-old mother in their Detroit home. Joshua Smith was sentenced Friday in Wayne County Circuit Court. The 14-year-old shot and killed Tamiko Robinson as she slept on Feb. 27. Police say the shooting followed an argument. Smith was charged as an adult and pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in September. In a statement to police, Smith said he was tired of being called names. His stepfather’s shotgun was used to kill Robinson. The boy’s uncle, who was visibly distraught over his sister’s gruesome and untimely death, told reporters that despite his nephew’s unthinkable actions, he still considers him family and still plans to be there for him in the future. It was also revealed that family members believe the boy became troubled when his father was sent to prison earlier this year on murder charges. This is such a sad and unfortunate story all around. Sounds like there may be more to it than what meets the eye but, nonetheless, the worst ending possible. Image via Shutterstock

He’s just the best,” Sofia Black D’Elia gushed to MTV News. “He’s such a heartbreaking character. You just feel for him so much, because he never stops smiling, and out of every character on the show, he has the most reason to not smile.” Without giving too much away, a sequence of events on Monday’s (January 28) episode should show fans that Chris isn’t some one-dimensional character. “He just can’t not be happy,” Black D’Elia said. “He just loves life. He’ll do anything to get the most out of it. As long as he’s having an incredible time, he’s OK. He has so much heart, and Jesse [Carere] does such an unbelievable job in that role.” “Chris is just a lot of fun,” added James Newman, who plays Tony. “Chris is one of those characters that doesn’t really change too much. Did Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt split up for the second time? Or the third time, or whatever the heck it would be at this point? Very possibly! Despite being the frequent source of engagement rumors , Doug was recently kicked to the curb by Paris, according to a source cited by E! News. “Obviously she broke up with him,” says the source . Obviously . Still, Paris herself was asked about the possible split earlier in the week and responded “all is good.” But there’s more here than meets the eye. Has Paris kicked Doug to the curb? The maybe-split comes after weeks of Hilton and Reinhardt being apart. Paris spent Easter with her family in Palm Springs, while Reinhardt was in Aspen with his. Over the weekend, Paris was living it up and looking single in Las Vegas where she partied at Wet Republic and Tao, while Doug was once again MIA. What gives? Sources say that Doug, the brother of Casey Reinhardt , had thought about visiting Hilton in Sin City to talk things out. So does that mean it’s over? It’s unclear. “He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind,” says our source. “I’m pretty sure that’s why he went to Aspen… to hide out and try to get over her.” The plot thickens. Just wait until both of them get back to L.A. today. Odds on the police being called to Paris’ house by the end of April? Slightly worse than them getting called to the home of Lindsay Lohan , but still, pretty good odds.
