Source: NurPhoto / Getty Florida Woman Stabs Herself Repeatedly Because Trump Is President Listen, normally we chide the state of Florida as a wasteland of society’s most deviant deplorables, but in this case, we KINDA get it. According to an article on The Smoking Gun , a woman from the Sunshine State stabbed herself in the stomach repeatedly with a kitchen knife. When police found her she was standing outside of her home, completely covered in blood. When asked what was wrong, the woman lifted her shirt to reveal “three stab wounds on [her] stomach that were still bleeding.” She then told the patrolman she had “stabbed herself because she does not want to live in Trump’s country.” Same, sis. Same. But we’re just not entirely sure that THIS is best way for that frustration to manifest itself. After evaluating the woman, a cop concluded that there was a “substantial likelihood” that she “will cause bodily harm to herself and/or others.” As a result, the officer appears to have recommended that the woman be involuntarily admitted to a mental health treatment facility (per the state’s Baker Act). The woman told police that this isn’t her first Baker Act rodeo. F**k Trump, but we hope she gets the help she needs because this ain’t it.

These are tough times in the life of pop icon Britney Spears. At this point, it doesn’t appear that the situation is as dire as Britney’s infamous 2007 meltdown , but that’s only because the singer is older, wiser, and surrounded by a slightly better support network. Back in April, Spears checked into a mental health facility , ostensibly because she was distraught over her father’s potentially fatal health issues. Now, it appears that the situation is more complicated than that. Reports of Britney’s efforts to bring an end to the conservatorship that has governed for life for over a decade have brought about a resurgence of the #FreeBritney movement, which was initially created over 10 years ago by fans concerned for Spears’ well-being. It now looks as though the 37-year-old may have been committed against her will, and it seems that parties who do not have her best interest at heart are going to great lengths to maintain control over her life. Sadly it seems that Spears can no longer trust her father, who is the main executor of the conservatorship. And she was recently forced to file for a restraining order against Sam Lufti, an ex-manager whose efforts to exploit Spears for financial gain have been well-documented. Britney is clearly fighting a battle for her freedom against some very stiff opposition. But fortunately, she’s not doing it entirely on her own. On Thursday, Spears posted a photo of herself smiling alongside boyfriend Sam Asghari. She captioned the pic, “I love this man.” Fans found encouragement in the pic for a number of reasons: For one thing, it’s good to see Spears smiling again. More importantly, it’s reassuring to know that she and Sam are still going strong, as many Spears worshippers consider this to be her healthiest relationship to date. And Britney will need all the help she can get in the months to come. TMZ previously reported that Britney’s mom is going to war on her daughter’s behalf and has joined the battle to bring the conservatorship to an end. But even with such a formidable ally on her side, Britney is facing an uphill battle. Insiders tell TMZ that Brit is “keeping her chin up” but that “things are far from well” in her life. Source: Nicky Nelson/WENN.com / WENN Britney Spears’ Manager Weighs In On Superstar’s Mental Health & Return To The Stage Last month, Britney Spears checked herself into a mental health facility , stating she needed “a moment.” Now, her manager Larry Rudolph says her return to the stage could be a lot more far off than indicated. “As the person who guides her career — based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis — from what I have gathered it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again,” Rudolph told TMZ . “I don’t want her to work again ’till she’s ready, physically, mentally and passionately. If that time never comes again, it will never come again. I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I am only here for her when she wants to work. And, if she ever does want to work again, I’m here to tell her if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.” Rudolph says Britney’s father getting sick last year was the “perfect storm,” as she grew distraught to the point that they had to pull her Vegas residency. Currently, Britney seems to be M.I.A. “Last summer, when she wanted to tour, she called me every day. She was excited. She hasn’t called me in months. Crickets. She clearly doesn’t want to perform now,” he adds. Britney checked out of the mental health facility after a month of recuperating… but by the sound of things, it’s unclear how much help that did. On the latest episode of Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk, Curry revealed that she feels insecure that she doesn’t get the same attention from men that her superstar husband Steph Curry gets from women. “Something that really bothers me, and honestly has given me a sense of a little bit of an insecurity, is the fact that yeah, there are all these women, like, throwing themselves (at him), but me, like the past 10 years, I don’t have any of that. I have zero – this sounds weird – but, like, male attention, and so then I begin to internalize it, and I’m like, ‘Is something wrong with me?’ I don’t want it but it’d be nice to know that, like, someone’s lookin’.” Folks on the Internet were divided in their opinion of the cookbook author’s comments. As it turns out, Justin Bieber has it all wrong. The singer recently opened up on Instagram about his struggle with mental health and how anxiety is destroying his life . This is mistaken, however. The artist is destroying his own life by saying really dumb and really insensitive things. Late on Friday, Bieber shared a tribute to Chris Brown, one that didn’t merely paint a rosy picture of the polarizing star… … but one that put Brown in the musical class of two all-time greats. In this Instagram post, Bieber published an image that featured the phrase “The Legendary Equation” at the top and included photos of Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur and Brown. “MJ plus 2 Pac equals CB,” the snapshot reads. This alone would have been controversial enough on its own. Michael Jackson is considered the King of Pop. Tupac is considered the greatest rapper of all-time. Is Brown really at their level? However, Bieber stepped into scalding hot water that extended far beyond one’s music taste when he went on to explain his reasoning here. “everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time,” Bieber wrote as a caption to this picture, adding: trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! He slammed his fists into the singer’s face multiple times, eventually agreeing to a plea agreement that resulted in five years of probation and six months of community service and nothing more. In the many years since, Brown has been accused on other occasions of beating women and of flipping out in an extreme manner — sometimes with a gun . In other words: The Rihanna incident would have been enough of a reason to cancel Chris Brown forever, but he has shown in numerous other instances that it was far from a one-time mistake. The guy is a violent, entitled, dangerous thug. But Justin Bieber loves him! He has gushed about Brown often in the past , setting a truly terrible example for all of his young fans. And many social media users called him out this week for doing so. “Domestic abuse aint a mistake, especially when its done repeatedly. Im sick to my stomach, definitely unfollowing you, mad disappointed,” one person remarked. Another referenced wife Hailey Baldwin and added: “What if Rihanna was Hailey (sic)? Would you say the same?” “it wasn’t a mistake. it was a crime,” another individual wrote. Brown, as you might expected, reacted differently to Bieber’s kind words. “I love you man! Thank you for believing in me. Your star shines so bright and your heart is unmatched!” he wrote on Bieber’s post, concluding: “You are a king but more importantly you were here to inspire and create endless possibilities bro! I’m with ya till the wheels fall off and when they do .. we gone get some new wheels.” God, let’s hope not. It’s been two months since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian with Jordyn Woods , the former BFF of Kylie Jenner. Unlike the first time Tristan cheated on her, this instance was a bridge too far, and Khloe decided to end the relationship. These days, a lot of anonymous “sources” and “insiders” (read: reps for Khloe) are talking a big game about how thoroughly Khloe has moved on and the extent to which she’s focused on her daughter, 1-year-old True. But unfortunately, Khloe’s social media posts tell a different story. Take Khloe’s Instagram Story from last night, for example. In her lengthy tirade directed at an unnamed target, she certainly doesn’t sound like someone who’s over her latest breakup: “The saddest thing about our story is that we could have made it work,” she wrote. “If you cared about me like I cared about you, you would have fought for me. But you didn’t. “So it’s clear, I was right every time that I told you that I loved you more,” the mother-of-one continued. “You always denied it and said you loved me more, but I guess now we know.” Later, in a separate post, Khloe wrote: “People hate when you show them how it feels to be treated the way they treat you.” It’s hard not to feel compassion for Khloe, who’s obviously still torn up over her most recent breakup. But at the same time, it might be time for her friends to sit her down and have the Queen Elsa chat. Everything that Khloe just said is 100 percent true — and we’re sure in one of his rare honest moments, Tristan would admit it. She was always far more into him than he was into her, and based on his actions, it would be reasonable to conclude that he was never in love with her at all. It’s all true — which is exactly why Khloe doesn’t need to say any of it. We understand that to a certain extent her life is like a professional wrestling bout, and the more drama the better, but Khloe can’t convincingly talk about how much she’s moved on and is fully focused on motherhood when she’s still posting stuff like this. Plus, at this point she’s just beating a dead horse. Tristan was already on cheater’s probation when he got busted the second time. A whole lot of people thought Khloe was crazy for taking him back the first time. Now that he went and did it all again she wants to tell the world that he wasn’t that into her? Two months ago, Tasha Rosenbrook bravely asked for help as Leida Margaretha destroyed her life for a second time. Fans opened their hearts and wallets and donated, but now Tasha has announced that she's refunding them. Why? Because Leida has won. Tasha can't keep fighting. Leida Margaretha marched into Tasha's home and took everything from her — not only her father, but her apartment. Tasha had to move, and she spoke her mind — on 90 Day Fiance and on social media. Leida retaliated by securing a restraining order against Tasha for “harassment.” That means four years before Tasha can even try to bridge the gap that Leida created between father and daughter. Fans of Tasha's, plus people who just hate Leida, contributed to her GoFundMe to help her fight the restraining order in court. In a new video shared on social media, Tasha explains why that legal battle has come to an end. “We are here to update you finally on what’s going on,” Tasha says. “Unfortunately, there’s no good news here.” “So firstly, I would like to say that yes, the money from the GoFundMe did go towards the lawyer,” Tasha clarifies. “But she refunded all the money that we gave her,” she reveals. Tasha explains that this happened “because she decided to withdraw from my case about two weeks ago.” Tasha explains the attorney's decision: “she felt like she didn’t quite have what it took to do a restraining order case,” “And not only that,” the video notes. “But in order to reopen the original case we’d have to appeal to a higher court.” “Which,” it is revealed. “Would cost almost $10,000.” “It’s not that we didn’t have new evidence to present,” Tasha's roommate Jan explains. “Tasha doesn’t have the money,” she says plainly. “That’s a lot of money.” “We are giving everyone the chance to request their refund from the GoFundMe,” Jan continues. “Tasha doesn’t have thousands of dollars to take this to the state level and get new evidence presented to a new judge,” she explains. “But that doesn’t mean she’s not going to try to get her security deposit back, Eric,” Jan warns. Tasha lived in the apartment before Eric moved in as a roommate and ultimately forced her to leave to please Leida. That's not one side of the story — horrified viewers watched Leida gleefully make that arrangement on camera. “I’m not happy about it,” Tasha expresses. “I’m not withdrawing because I want to.” Another obstacle is that the statute of limitations on harassment has passed. “Too much time has passed,” Jan says. “And there hasn’t been any bashing of Tasha that we know of on social media.” “It’s not because we weren’t trying,” the video clarifies. “It’s just things weren’t working out.” “We can and can’t quite look at other lawyers,” Tasha admits. “Because honestly, between Jan and I, we’ve called about 50 at least lawyers in the area.” “No one really wants to take the case,” she laments. “Mainly because of social media.” “And also because there really aren’t a lot of lawyers willing to do harassment,” she adds, noting the exception of more expensive lawyers. “It’s just a mess,” Tasha bemoans. “It’s going to cost thousands of dollars for the new retainer if I wanted to reopen the case.” “And then it’s going to cost who knows how much more for a new lawyer too,” the roommates fear. “Plus if I found a lawyer outside of my county,” Tasha notes. “I’d have to pay for them to travel.” “It’s just not worth my mental health anymore,” she expresses. There's more than one way for Leida to win. If Tasha is (more) broken emotionally and financially, that's a win for Leida. We should note that, though Tasha has fared the worst since Leida began lashing out at her “enemies,” she's not the only target. In recent months, a number of Instagram accounts have become targets. According to complaints lodged by Reality Diggers and others, Leida has been reporting any mention of her as “copyright infringement.” This is a powerful tactic for silencing any criticism or mention of her. Reporting someone for harassment or impersonation can take ages. But social media platforms are terrified of copyright lawsuits. Leida has been chasing these blogs into hiding with her reports. And Instagram has rewarded her with the blue check mark of verification.

Her criminal past was cited for her being denied entry into a mental health program, instead of a possible jail sentence. Reports TMZ : We broke the story … the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star submitted a petition in her child abuse case to allow her to get treatment for a serious mental illness, which she claimed she was diagnosed with around the same time she was charged with child abuse in Georgia. Tommie got her answer — no can do. According to a new legal doc obtained by TMZ … the Assistant District Attorney determined Lee’s criminal history and background — along with other evidence, facts and allegations — “make her an inappropriate candidate for an accountability court.” Back in January, Tommie was indicted on multiple child abuse charges and she’s facing up to 54 years in prison if she is convicted. From Newsweek : Britney’s Gram Podcast hosts Barbara Grey and Tess Barker claimed Spears’s conservatorship, money and health, could be reasons why Spears was checked into a facility without her approval. Legally, it’s a possibility that Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, has ordered his daughter to get help even if she wasn’t initially receptive. Spears has been legally confined to a conservatorship since 2008, though she has tried to fight it, and was found mentally unfit to hire a lawyer, according to Britney’s Gram podcast. The voicemail from the anonymous person claimed Spears was not taking her medication, which caused her father to pull his support from her Domination Las Vegas residency. The show was canceled in the first week of January, Spears announcing she was heartbroken but had to take time for her father’s deteriorating health. Spears seemingly broke another giant rule: she’s not allowed to drive a car under her conservatorship, but was seen driving with boyfriend Sam Asghari. The unnamed caller claimed he had quit Britney’s team two weeks prior, and his identity was said to be confirmed by Grey and Barker. If you don’t know what a conservatorship is, it’s a guardian appointed by a judge to manage the financial affairs and/or daily life of a person may be mentally or physically ill or of old age. A #FreeBritney hashtag is now trending on Twitter. But, Spears and team, Sam Asghari, Jamie Lynn Spears and Kevin Federline have not confirmed any of the claims made by the Britney’s Gram podcast.
