If you were in your late teens-early 20s when the Notorious B.I.G. debuted with “Juicy,” prepare to feel your age. The baby girl whose ears Biggie put five carats in is now a 18 year old college student. T’yanna Wallace and her mother, Jan Jackson , stopped by New York City morning radio show, Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg Show With Kay Foxx recently. The mother and daughter team spoke about their relationship with Faith Evans and Lil Kim. While neither woman had a negative word to say about Lil Kim or Faith Evans , Jan made it clear she and Kim don’t speak, but it’s not because they don’t like each other. Lil Kim and T’yanna Wallace don’t speak because they lost touch. T’yanna said she has no beef with Lil kim and would speak to her if she saw her on the street. Check out the clip below. Newlywed R&B star Monica has found herself in the middle of a family feud. The ATL singer recently collaborated with Rick Ross, Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim for the single, “Anything.” The song samples David Porter’s “I’m Afraid the Masquerade Is Over” used for the Notorious B.I.G’s classic “Who Shot Ya?” and the Queen Bee cribs a few lines from the Biggie hit in her verse. (Listen below) According to Monica’s twitter account Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace has stopped the single from being released because Lil’ Kim appears on the song. As custodian of Biggie’s estate, Ms. Wallace approves any samples of her late son’s music. “I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend,” Monica wrote. “Lil Kim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked and I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate.” Ms. Wallace and Lil’ Kim have been engaged in a very public feud over the past few years, most recently over Kim’s portrayal in the biopic Notorious . Based on Monica’s tweets, the song would not be cleared unless Lil’ Kim’s vocals were removed. Despite her displeasure, Monica maintained her respect for Ms. Wallace and did not take sides, insisting that she “respects all parties involved” and hopes to have the song reinstated with Lil’ Kim featured. Lil’ Kim has taken the high road thus far simply writing, “I want ya’ll to know that Missy Elliot and Monica Brown have been going hard a s mothaf*cka for this situation. I love them so much! We are planning something even BIGGER for you guys.” WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT What do you think? Should Biggie’s mom let this one go or do you think she did the right thing blocking the record? As Voletta Wallace (and most of the rest of us) suspected, a crooked cop may really have killed Biggie . Which might explain why the LAPD have had such a hard time solving the crime. The Freedom of Information Act has given the public access to the FBI file detailing the agency’s investigation of the 1997 fatal shooting of Christopher Wallace aka the Notorious B.I.G. and shady one-time officer David Mack is looking real suspect right now. Six months after Tupac’s murder in Las Vegas, on March 9th, Biggie and his crew were leaving a party at L.A.’s Peterson Automotive Museum in a three-car caravan when a black Chevy SS Impala pulled up to his window and fired several shots, killing the rapper almost instantly. According to the FBI investigation, the ammunition used was the extremely rare metal-piercing Gecko 9mm bullets, which are manufactured in Germany and only available in the U.S. through two distributors. Here’s where the shady police tie comes in. A corrupt LAPD officer named David Mack was arrested for masterminding a Bank of America heist of over $700,000 six months after Biggie’s death. When police raided his home they found Gecko ammunition and a shrine to Tupac. A black Chevy SS Impala was parked next to his house. Mack also had ties to Suge Knight and Death Row Records. If you’ve watched any of those Biggie documentaries you’ve probably heard some of this before — especially since Biggie’s family filed a wrongful death suit against Mack in 2007 — but the information about the ammo and the car only seems to confirm what most already suspected. David Mack is currently behind bars serving a 14-year sentence for the Bank of America robbery, and claims he is innocent of the Wallace murder. Do you believe him? Source
