TRIED IT: Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Elongating Curl Gel Actually Stretched My Type 4 Curls

My hair is currently in a triangle tapered cut and it looks the edgiest and most defined in a wash and go. While I love the nutrients I’m able to give my hair, the one thing I don’t love about rocking a wash and go is the shrinkage. I’ll start with my hair by my chin and by the time it dries, it’s right by my ears. Honestly, it changes the look of the cut drastically and by 3PM…I’m over it. (Just my personal opinion). I got my hands on a sample travel pack of Aunt Jackie’s Don’t Shrink Flaxseed Elongating Gel ($5.89, target.com ) and their Moisture Intensive Leave In Conditioner ($6.39, target.com ). I went on an overnight trip and decided to pack it to give it a try for my wash and go. I washed my hair with the hotel shampoo and conditioner, stepped out and got to business. First, I sectioned my hair and began to apply the leave in conditioner. It smells really nice and as I shingled the product through my curls, I felt the texture coming out strong. Next, I layered the Elongating Gel and shingled the product through my curls. At first I didn’t love it. I didn’t think it made my curls pop like my creams normally do. However, I liked it much better as it began to dry. The product rings true: it’s does elongate your curls! The gel left my hair defined, but flexible. I wish the product had make my curls pop more, but on days I want more length, I’ll definitely be using this. Have you tried Aunt Jackie’s Flaxseed Elongating Curl Gel? Heidi Montag: My Post-Baby Body Was Easy to Achieve!

Heidi Montag’s gone through another radical body transformation. But don’t worry — this time, it was all natural. She’s showing off her post-baby body, just a few months after she and Spencer Pratt welcomed their first child , a precious baby named Gunner Pratt . Now, Heidi’s telling all about her weight loss and revealing if she would ever consider getting plastic surgery. Speaking to Us Weekly , Heidi talks about her post-baby bod … and starts by talking about how much she gained while pregnant. “I thought I would gain maybe 20 or 30 pounds during my pregnancy.” Generally speaking, average weight women should gain 25 to 35 pounds during pregnancy. An underweight woman should gain between 28 and 40 pounds. “But I gained over 45.” That sounds about right, for a woman as tiny as Heidi. It was only in February — four months after sweet baby Gunner was born — that Heidi says that she was first able to slip into a pair of jeans that were not maternity jeans. But the wait, she says, made it all the more rewarding. “It was very exciting.” We’re sure that it was. “It made me realize I’d lost a lot of weight,” she says. How much, exactly? The former The Hills star estimates that she’s down to about 107 pounds. “I just had a baby, I’m very emotional.” That’s no surprise. And it’s likely not a feeling that will go away for Heidi any time soon. “I’m eating healthier than when I was pregnant, ironically, because I want to make sure Gunner has all the nutrients he needs.” Well, you crave some things while pregnant, but don’t necessarily retain those same cravings when you’re lactating. “Having a baby has made me really appreciate my body, not just how it looks. It’s just amazing, the human body.” It’s great to hear that she’s appreciating her body. There was a time, of course, when she did not. She famously underwent 10 different surgeries in one day. Is she feeling that way again? “I have no temptation to have any kind of surgery after having a baby.” She says that her desires at the moment are very simple. “I want to breast-feed and have my breasts for that.” She does hint that she might get something done … some day. “Maybe I would get my boobs done after all the kids we have.” One is tempted to imagine a devilish twinkle in her eye as she delivers that line and begins to dissociate, envisioning all of the different procedures that she might undergo. Fortunately, however, she says that she’s no longer vulnerable to those sorts of temptations. “But I might just be over that phase of my life.” Heidi talks about her diet. “I just eat whatever I want here and there. I try to make sure I get enough food instead of limiting food.” She repeats the same meals. “I pretty much eat the same thing every day.” And she’s sort of humble-bragging about how she lost the baby weight in just a few months. “The weight came off really easy. Actually, I wasn’t even trying very hard. I just try to eat really healthy.” And she lists exactly what a healthy diet means to her. “I try to have protein with every meal. I try to have vegetables twice a day. And then I also try to get some carbs in there.” Take a look at how gorgeous she looks now! She looks great! And to hear Heidi tell it, losing that weight was incredibly easy. “Every day is kind of a cheat day. So, if I just want a bite of something, I will. I’m not a person who has to have, like, the whole box of doughnuts.” Before you think that her diet will be easy to emulate, know that, genetics aside, this is also a woman who goes on four hikes a day (one with each dog) and who also carries around a four-month-old baby. Also, even with a seven-month baby bump, Heidi kept exercising. So … that’s the sort of person she is. It’s no surprise that her body is so amazing already. Kesha Drinks Her Own Pee for MTV of the Day

I don’t think this is a big deal at all….I just prefer when girls are drinking my pee…. I am not a pee fetishists, but I’ve always found it funny to piss in girls faces. I am not the average American MTV watcher, and I am sure they are freaking out thinking this staged bullshit is so fucking gross…even though it is staged. I mean why the fuck does she suddenly have a container perfectly designed for her to pee in, like a female urinal or bed pan at the hospital, in order to pull off this stunt successfully. But the average American MTV watcher doesn’t think like that…in fact, I don’t think they think at all. The truth is, there are people who think you expel your nutrients and that drinking your sterile pee, that won’t get you sick, replenishes them. I don’t really believe that watersports pervert theory….but I am into squirting which is 99 percent pee…so maybe I am. All this to say, Kesha is an attention seeking fat chick no one should pay attention to, even if she’s smearing feces all over her cunt for the underbelly of twitter…. She’s useless and we can only hope this is actually bad for her and kills her off, even though I think it isn’t really pee. It’s too easy to fake it… What a cunt. This is what we call “No One Watches Our Show. No One Even Knows It Exists. Let’s Change That with PISS”….

REUTERS: U.N. urged to freeze climate geo-engineering projects (aka Chemtrails)

Credit: Reuters/Sukree Sukplang By Chisa Fujioka NAGOYA, Japan | Thu Oct 21, 2010 3:55am EDT NAGOYA, Japan (Reuters) – The United Nations should impose a moratorium on “geo-engineering” projects such as artificial volcanoes and vast cloud-seeding schemes to fight climate change, green groups say, fearing they could harm nature and mankind. The risks were too great because the impacts of manipulating nature on a vast scale were not fully known, the groups said at a major U.N. meeting in Japan aimed at combating increasing losses of plant and animal species. Envoys from nearly 200 countries are gathered in Nagoya, Japan, to agree targets to fight the destruction of forests, rivers and coral reefs that provide resources and services central to livelihoods and economies. A major cause for the rapid losses in nature is climate change, the United Nations says, raising the urgency for the world to do whatever it can to curb global warming and prevent extreme droughts, floods and rising sea levels. Some countries regard geo-engineering projects costing billions of dollars as a way to control climate change by cutting the amount of sunlight hitting the earth or soaking up excess greenhouse gas emissions, particularly carbon dioxide. “It's absolutely inappropriate for a handful of governments in industrialized countries to make a decision to try geo-engineering without the approval of all the world's support,” Pat Mooney, from Canada-headquartered advocacy organization ETC Group, told Reuters on the sidelines of the October 18-29 meeting. “They shouldn't proceed with real-life, in-the-environment experimentation or the deployment of any geo-engineering until there is a consensus in the United Nations that this is okay.” Some conservation groups say geo-engineering is a way for some governments and companies to get out of taking steps to slash planet-warming emissions. The U.N. climate panel says a review of geo-engineering will be part of its next major report in 2013. SOLAR REFLECTORS Some of the geo-engineering schemes proposed include: — Ocean fertilization. Large areas are sprinkled with iron or other nutrients to artificially spur growth of phytoplankton, which soak up carbon dioxide. But this could trigger harmful algal blooms, soak up nutrients and kill fish and other animals. — Spray seawater into the atmosphere to increase the reflectivity and condensation of clouds so they bounce more sunlight back into space. — Placing trillions of tiny solar reflectors out in space to cut the amount of sunlight reaching the Earth. — Artificial volcanoes. Tiny sulfate particles or other materials are released into the stratosphere to reflect sunlight, simulating the effect of a major volcanic eruption. — Carbon capture and storage. Supported by a number of governments and involves capturing CO2 from power stations, refineries and natural gas wells and pumping it deep underground. Mooney said the U.N. Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) should expand its de-facto moratorium on ocean fertilization agreed in 2008 to all geo-engineering, although the proposal was resisted by some countries, including Canada, earlier this year. Canada said in Nagoya that it would work with the CBD. “Canada was simply concerned about the lack of clarity on definitions including what activities are included in 'geo-engineering',” Cynthia Wright, head of the delegation, said in an email response. “Canada shares concerns of the international community about potential negative impacts of geo-engineering on biodiversity and is willing to work with other CBD Parties to avoid these impacts,” she said. Environmentalists said geo-engineering went against the spirit of the Nagoya talks, which aims to set new targets for 2020 to protect nature, such as setting up more land and marine protected areas, cutting pollution and managing fishing. “We are certainly in favor of more (geo-engineering) research, as in all fields, but not any implementation for the time being because it's too dangerous. We don't know what the effects can be,” said Francois Simard of conservation group IUCN. “Improving nature conservation is what we should do in order to fight climate change, not trying to change nature.” added by: samantha420

Consumerism is ‘Eating the Future’

We're a gloomy lot, with many insisting that there's nothing we can do personally about global warming, or that the human race is over-running the planet like a plague. But according to leading ecologists speaking this week in Albuquerque at the annual meeting of the Ecological Society of America, few of us realise that the main cause of the current environmental crisis is human nature.
