French Woman Offers To Rent Breast-Milk To Gay Couples’ Babies A lot of burning questions here …read and then we’ll discuss after! Via Raw Story: A woman has posted an offer on a French website to breast-feed babies of homosexual male couples for 100 euros ($130) a day, stirring up media interest just weeks after a divisive same-sex marriage law was passed. The post, which the website said it verified as genuine and legal, reads: “I am a young mother in perfect health, a trained nurse of 29, and I am renting my breasts to milk-feed infants.” The offer, addressed to male homosexual couples who can marry legally in France since May, promises up to 10 breast-feeds a day. The woman is mobile and based near Paris, it says. Alexandre Woog, chief executive of the e-loue website where the offer appeared, said its staff had contacted the person and had no doubt about her identity and the seriousness of the proposal, nor the legality of the service proposed. “Our legal advisers are sure of this. It’s illegal in France to sell maternal milk but this is a person proposing a service, not selling the milk in flasks,” Woog told Reuters. While France has just joined more than a dozen countries to legalize marriage and adoption of children by same-sex couples, it does not permit surrogacy or assisted reproduction for gay and lesbian couples. Reuters was unable to independently confirm the authenticity of the French breast-feed offer or the identity of the person behind it, who said in response to queries via the website that many people had replied to the proposal. “I’ve received more than a dozen requests, but only half of them were serious. The rest were from perverts,” the poster of the offer, run like all adverts under a pseudonym, said in an exchange with Reuters. 1. So how many babies will she be able to breastfeed in a given day?? 2. How will she sterilize her nipples after jumping from baby to baby? 3. Will she come in the middle of the night when the babies wake up and need to be nurse?? 4. The Chiefs are stepping up to the plate… Kansas City Chiefs Cover Jovan Belcher Funeral Costs Via TMZ reports : The Kansas City Chiefs organization is paying for Jovan Belcher ‘s funeral arrangements … and has offered financial assistance to Kasandra Perkins’ family as well … TMZ has learned. Sources directly involved with the situation tell us … the Chiefs have made it clear they don’t want either family to be stuck with the massive bills stemming from the funerals or memorial services. We’re told members of Belcher’s family — which now has custody of the couple’s orphaned newborn baby — graciously accepted the offer … and the team will cover all of the costs of Belcher’s memorial in KC and funeral in NY. It’s unclear if Perkins’ family has accepted the offer as well. When called for comment, a rep for the Chiefs told us, “We are assisting both families with arrangements … We just prefer not to get into specifics of what we are doing or have done.” Calls to the Belcher and Perkins families have not been returned A very kind offer by the Chiefs to help out with the arrangements. Usher Looking To Settle Child Custody Case With Ex-Wife Tameka Raymond It seems that the tragic accident involving Tameka Raymond’s son Kile has helped bring a softer side out of her ex-husband Usher : According to TMZ reports : Usher has changed his tune and now wants to up his ante to settle his epic child support/custody war with Tameka Raymond after the jet ski accident that left his stepson Kyle brain dead … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with the couple tell TMZ … Usher spoke with Tameka over the weekend and suggested that they settle up, but he did not significantly change his offer — 50/50 custody with a very slight increase in child support. Tameka said no way. But apparently Usher softened after the conversation, because our sources say he met with his lawyers earlier this week and instructed them to craft a new proposal that would give Tameka “a majority” of custody, though the sources did not specify the exact breakdown. We’re told Usher is also raising his child support offer “significantly.” As for Usher’s motivation … we’re told he’s very conscious that Tameka is suffering and it’s not a good move to continue the fight under the circumstances. We’re told the offer has not been presented to Tameka yet, but our sources say she’s open to a “reasonable settlement.” Calls to lawyers on both sides have not been returned. These are such sad circumstances but it seems as if something positive can still come out of this tragedy. Our prayers are with the Foster, Glover and Raymond families right now.

Alicia Keys Mysteriously Declines An Offer To Appear On “Finding Your Roots” Dr. Henry Louis Gates is a foremost authority on Black history in America and the host of a TV program called “Finding Your Roots” where he does a thorough breakdown of celebrities’ (mostly African-America) family tree to give them more information about where they’re really from. Several celebs have participated in the PBS show including Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Barbara Walters, Condoleezza Rice, and Robert Downey Jr. to name a few. In a recent interview, Gates was asked if any celebs had ever decided to turn down the chance to discover their ancestry and he replied that indeed two people had rejected the offer. Though Colin Powell simply stated that he “had too many cousins already” to participate, Alicia Keys reasoning for accepting, then later declining the offer was a little less specific. Just hours after their offer to Jersey Shore ‘s The Situation – to pay him a “substantial amount” in exchange for him NOT wearing their apparel – the latest figures for the preppy retail chain were released. Short story? They sucked. “Looks like Abercrombie got themselves into a Situation!” you-know-who tweeted. Sitch, a.k.a. Mike Sorrentino, went on to add: “Thanks #SituationNation for having my back and you are the best fans in the world! I love you guys!” An article detailing the steady decline of A&F stock coincidentally came out right after new wake of their non-endorsement offer to Sitch had leaked. There was no mention of any correlation to the Jersey Shore cast’s love for the brand, but company’s stock took a dive of nine percent regardless. Despite their offer, clearly a diss of Mike and an opportunistic PR ploy, the retailer is still offering its bestselling “The Fitchuation” t-shirts online.
