The comedian turned down the alleged shake down, and here we are. Sabbag’s lawsuit is against Hart and J.T. Jackson, the latter is a former friend who allegedly recorded the tape without the comedian’s knowledge. Hart has reportedly been working with the D.A. on the case for over two years with Jackson facing up to 4 years in prison for extortion . However, Sabbag claims Hart was in on the tape to boost his fame. This theory is kind of suspect considering he was already the most famous comedian in the game and a sex tape is a bad look for his family man image. Hart is currently recovering from a car accident that left him with serious back injuries.

Jay-Z for his part has no problem with fans concluding that Nas got the best of him when he called him a “tae-bo h*e” amongst other things on the rap battle classic “Ether.” Def Jam published an oral history about the making of the classic Jay-Z album, The Blueprint , and in it former Roc-A-Fella A&R Lenny “Lenny S” Santiago explained his frustration over how Hip-Hoppers were declaring Nas’ “Ether” the victor over Jay’s “Takeover.” From venting to Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke to cursing out New York’s Hot 97 radio station, Lenny S had a hard time with fans leaning more towards the Queensbridge King than Hova the Gawd. It wasn’t until he got on the phone with Jay that Lenny S was able to see the bigger picture behind what had happened and accepted the end results. “So I literally call him from a pay phone. And here we are, Jay’s on the phone with me, convincing me that this has to happen in life. We have to go through ups and downs. We have take losses in order to get greater wins. Apparently Jay didn’t go hard enough over Nas’ beat but went over the line on Dr. Dre’s joint. If we remember correctly, even Jay-Z’s family told him he didn’t have to bring Nas’ baby’s mother into the drama on the diss track. Either way New York listeners decided “Ether” was a better song than “Super Ugly.” It was. Had they actually pitted “Ether” against the original Nas diss cut “Takeover” then the results might’ve been different. Luckily both men were able to hash out their differences and are now continuing to cash in on life outside of rap. Gotta love Hip-Hop, b.

The actor and comedian is walking again after suffering sever back injuries in a car crash, but he is in excruciating pain. Reports TMZ : Sources connected to the comedian tell us that Kevin is, in fact, walking again — as Tiffany Haddish mentioned Friday at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS event in NYC — but he’s not nearly as “good” as she made it seem. We’re told he’s walking slowly and gingerly at this point. We’re also told KH’s starting physical therapy this weekend at the hospital he’s currently being treated at. That’s great considering he just underwent surgery days ago. While he may be taking steps in his road to full health, make no mistake … we’re told Kevin is in excruciating pain as he heals, but that he’s also maintaining a relatively positive mood. Hart reportedly suffered three spinal fractures as a result of a crash (he was the passenger) invovling his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in Malibu Hill. Hart reportedly bought the car as a birthday gift to himself in July.

On Saturday (Sept. 7), a public ceremony was held at the Rose Hill Memorial Park and Mortuary in Whittier, California. Reports HipHopDX : According to several Instagram posts, Eazy’s new tombstone is more elaborate but contains the same text as the first one, “We Loved Him A Lot But God Loved Him More.” The updated version, however, features his signature red logo, autograph, the title “The Godfather of Gangsta Rap” written in Old English and several iconic photos of the late gangsta rap pioneer. Toward the bottom it reads, “We Put Compton On The Map.” Eazy-E reportedly passed away in 1995 from complications from AIDS— but not everyone thinks so . Already a legend at the time of his death, the gangsta turned rapper’s iconic status has only continued to grow.
