Miley Cyrus Rocks Onesie, Poses with Sister and Dog

From strippers to pajamas, Miley Cyrus has been giving fans a glimpse of two very different sides of her personality to close out 2012. The singer slapped the butt of a stripper in celebration of her birthday this year, while also posting excitedly about the gift of a blow-up doll . But she also posed adorably with Liam Hemsworth for Christmas, and is doing the same below with her sister and her dog… while wearing a onesie! Perhaps the best example of Miley’s split personality? Her cute side and her edgy persona? The canine pictured above is named Mary Jane. HA! Google the meaning behind that moniker, kids.

World’s Oldest Man Ever: Jiroemon Kimura Sets New Milestone

Jiroemon Kimura is the world’s oldest man … ever. He was born in 1897! The 115-year-old recently became the oldest living human after the death of Dina Manfredini . Now he’s also officially the oldest man who has ever lived. Jiroemon Kimura, World’s Oldest Man Ever The former postal employee has 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. He lives with his son’s family near Kyoto, Japan. The previous holder of the title of oldest man ever was Christian Mortensen, a Danish-American, who lived 115 years and 252 days before dying in 1998. Yasushi Nakayama, the mayor of Kyotango, where Kimura lives, recognized his status as the world’s current oldest person, calling him “the pride of our town.” Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday traveled to Kimura’s hometown to hand deliver a copy of the Guinness World Records 2013. Glenday said it was an honour to meet Kimura, whom he called “an exceptional person” and only the third man in the history of the world to reach 115. Will he be the first ever to hit 116? Here’s hoping!

Ice Age Freezes Spider-Man: Weekend Receipts

The last pre- Dark Knight Rises weekend at the multiplex came and went without much incident, unless you call The Amazing Spider-Man losing his grip on the No. 1 spot after one week an “incident.” You decide! Either way, your Weekend Receipts are here. 1. Ice Age: Continental Drift Gross: $46,000,000 (new) Screens: 3,881 (PSA: $11,853) Weeks: 1 The Ice Age franchise celebrated its 10th anniversary by rolling its opening-weekend domestic gross back to 2002 prices — the fourth installment of the series earned almost precisely what the original earned out of gate a decade ago. It still amounts to only the third highest opening of the series, but Fox will take it (not to mention deposing one-week wonder The Amazing Spider-Man for No. 1). 2. The Amazing Spider-Man Gross: $35,000,000 ($200,900,000) Screens: 4,318 (PSA $8,106) Weeks: 2 (Change: -43.6%) It took 11 days — including a holiday — for Sony’s comics reboot to hit the $200 million mark domestically. That’s fine and all, but in the summer of The Avengers and mere days ahead of the Dark Knight Rises megastorm that will wipe Spider-Man off the map, it’s not really good enough, is it? 3. Ted Gross: $22,147,000 ($158,993,000) Screens: 3,303 (PSA: $6,705) Weeks: 3 (Change: -31.2%) Time and time again over the last few weeks, the one conversation that seems to come up among me and people whose taste I generally trust involves the title Ted and the phrase, “It was better than I expected.” If its box-office hold after three weeks is any indication, I am not the only one having this conversation. 4. Brave Gross: $10,695,000 ($195,596,000) Screens: 3,392 (PSA $3,153) Weeks: 4 (Change: -45.5%) Another reasonably good hold here, though what’s really worth watching is how the overseas grosses start to mount over the next two months of foreign rollouts . The slowest of slow burns — Brave indeed! 5. Magic Mike Gross: $9,030,000 ($91,850,000) Screens: 3,090 (PSA $2,922) Weeks: 3 (Change: -42.3%) Yeah, I’d say a sequel might be worth a try. Happy 10th Anniversary, Ghost World! Let’s Celebrate Its Decade of Misanthropy

If you lived in New York or Los Angeles on July 20, 2001, and were the type of person who loved to make underhanded remarks about friends, strangers and even family members behind their back — and even to their face — then the chances are good you were first in line to see Terry Zwigoff’s caustic comedy of misanthropy, Ghost World . Based on the comic by Daniel Clowes, the film took too-cool-for-school ethos to another level, offered Thora Birch and Scarlett Johansson their best-ever screen roles (true), and even turned Steve Buscemi into a romantic lead. Well, sorta. Let’s celebrate this little oddity by remembering some great one-liners — and a related-but-not music video by Aimee Mann — ahead.

Watch Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz in the Dream House Trailer: Dead Again

Daniel Craig is the sort of mensch who I’d like to believe can do wrong. Unfortunately, when you’re in everything , infallibility is not an option. The new trailer for Dream House , the sepia-postered film exhibits a few contrivances that I’d expect from — well, a by-the-book psychodrama with a September release date. But I admit, the trailer is entertaining, even if it’s a note-for-note reiteration of a movie that came out almost 10 years ago to this day.

Harry Potter Finale Breaks $200M, Falls Just Short of 5-Day Record

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 this week became only the third film to surpass the $200 million mark domestically within five days of release. Not bad! Alas, it left the five-day record to a celebrated studiomate — but not by much.

Katrina Bowden Leaves Me Speechless

Here’s Katrina Bowden on the red carpet at some event the other night. Seriously? This is what I’ve got to write about today? I love the chick at all, but she’s basically an extra on 30 Rock . It’s alright, I can do this. Here she is wearing a nice little purple dress and… I’ve got nothing. At least if she was in those little booty shorts she always wears, while she walks around in the background of a very popular NBC sitcom, I’d have something to look at while I waste everyone’s time typing in enough letters to fill an adequate amount of space so that my boss thinks I wrote a whole paragraph about this garbage. That should do it. Enjoy.

Irina Shayk & Her Team Of Hot Friends

Alright, I think this should probably just about do it for posts featuring any of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit models… At least for this week. Here’s Irina Shayk and her team of sexy friends at yet another party thrown in their honor. You would think that after all the pictures I put up of them, the least they could do was invite me to one of their parties. It doesn’t have to be the launch party either, I’ll go to the last one, the one they throw for all the accountants and boring behind the scenes guys where only the third string models have to show up. If there’s booze… I’m there. more pictures of the SI models here
