When Kim Kardashian marries Kanye West tomorrow, she will join an exclusive club. Actually, by definition, we suppose this club isn’t exclusive at all. The following celebrities have walked down the aisle a minimum of three times, sometimes with the same person more than once. Kanye will make (lucky?) number-three for Kim this weekend (though she’s slept with more than that !), as she joins a list that includes an Oscar winner, a talk show host, a former sex tape star and a warlock. So, who can’t stop saying I Do? Find out now! 13 Celebrities Who Can’t Stop Getting Married 1. Kate Winslet Kate Winslet has been married three times. She exchanged vows with Jim Threapleton in 1998; then with in 2003; and with Ned Rocknroll in 2012.
Once again, rumors that Kate Middleton is pregnant have taken the web by storm. Only this time, there’s a new twist: She’s reportedly having twins! Twin girls, no less. A new tabloid report asserts that England’s beloved Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be welcoming two daughters later this year! Two princesses crawling around the palace at the same time? That might make young Prince George, who’s not even a year old now, a little jealous … If this dubious story published by OK! were actually true, of course. Which we doubt. Kate Middleton “has always wanted a daughter, and she’s talked about it so much that William did, too,” an insider reveals to the celebrity magazine. Well, that settles it! Sound the trumpets and break out the non-alcoholic champagne! “Kate’s upbringing with [ Pippa Middleton ] was idyllic and she always wanted to have girls of her own to carry on the legacy of strong, happy women.” “Plus, she thinks George having sisters will be tremendously good for his character.” 11 Precious Prince George Playdate Photos 1. Kate Middleton and Prince George Playdate Kate Middleton and Prince George on a play date in New Zealand, April 2014. Looking cute as ever! After seeing the Prince’s recent New Zealand play date (above), George would no doubt be a great big brother. Guy clearly loves being around other kids! Not to mention … mini-Kate Middleton girls would be the cutest princesses ever. EVER. The report also claims that Kate has already gained 10 pounds and developed a sweet tooth … with zero evidence to support either claim, but whatever. “Kate has the cookies made fresh every day,” the inside royal source revealed. “Wills jokes that his daughters are going to have a terrible sweet tooth!” All kidding and anonymous, unreliable quotes aside, we wish this wonderful couple the very best whenever they decide to have baby number two . Or three. Just don’t hold your breath that it’s happening in 2014 or even 2015. 17 Vintage Kate Middleton Photos 1. Vintage Kate Middleton and Prince William Kate Middleton and Prince William back when they first started dating. Such an adorable picture … and such a head of hair he used to have!
X Men: Days of Future Past just hit theaters last night, but the film is already enjoying mega-box-office and is expected to turn in opening-weekend totals that will dwarf the receipts of its predecessor, X Men: First Class . The film pulled in over $8 million on Thursday night alone and Marvel Studios is said to have set a goal of $100 million for this weekend. High hopes, indeed, but certainly within reach, as Memorial Day typically provides one of the biggest box office weekends of the year. Despite the impressive one-day total, X Men: First Class has fallen shy of the Thursday night numbers reported by other recent big-budget releases such as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier . Such huge numbers across the board have industry analysts predicting one of the most profitable summers that movie studios have seen in recent years. Just last week, Godzilla ‘s box office was reported at a staggering $93.2 million for its opening weekend alone. Strong reviews for X Men Days of Future Past are expected to carry the film to impressive weekend totals. Analysts point out that Memorial Day weekend films often start off slow but outlast other summer releases due to the extra day off enjoyed by millions of Americans. 33 Memorable Movie Posters 1. Yeezus Movie Poster The first poster for Yeezus is out. Kanye West, of course, is behind the mysterious film.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has a growing fan base on Tumblr apparently. Up until last week, “One Direction Infection” was a Tumblr blog created and maintained by an eighth grader devoted to the British boy band heart throbs. Now, it’s devoted to the Boston Marathon bombing suspect. Jahar, as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s friends and Twitter followers call him, has amassed a pretty huge following for a man charged with terrorism and WMD use . He has his own hashtag, #FreeJahar, on Twitter, while thousands of Tumblr and Facebook fans closely follow his case and discuss his “innocence.” Beyond the boilerplate Boston bombing conspiracy theories that claim he’s the fall guy or the whole thing is a hoax, there are other reasons for his appeal. “I do believe he is very cute, but that’s not the reason I’m involved in this movement,” the aforementioned 1D turned Free Jahar Tumblr owner told Gawker . “I am in this because I don’t believe its right to put a totally innocent person in jail for the rest of his/her life or even death penalty. I don’t care who it is, it just isn’t fair.” By any measure, #FreeJahar is a bizarre expansion of “fandom” culture – rabid communities of admirers, usually young women, that organize themselves online. Exchanging photos, fan art and writing, their near-undefinable flood of emotion and desire is palpable. In this case, it can also be political and viral. For the most part, #FreeJahar believers’ Tumblr pages are image-heavy and mock the “perception” of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as a terrorist or criminal. They are conspiratorial (“If you believe the official story regarding Boston, I don’t know what to tell you”), yet, in the majority of cases, blatantly juvenile. It’s hard to tell exactly how many people believe in Tsarnaev’s innocence, or how strongly. But there’s no doubt that the “movement” is growing fast. On Tumblr, there are a dozen or so dedicated #FreeJahar blogs, and scores of allies and sympathizers who “like” and “reblog” their posts loyally. On Twitter, Tsarnaev’s friends, many of whom have embraced #FreeJahar, have thousands of followers, while pro-Jahar Facebook pages are heavily “Liked.” It’s hard to say what possesses someone to become involved in such activity, but the Jahar loyalists aren’t alone. James Holmes has online fans too. Seriously.

Actor-director Glenn Berggoetz is bringing his new film to Los Angeles on March 23, and this time, he says, he’s going to make more than $11. As Movieline gleefully reported in 2011, Berggoetz’s microbudget picture The Worst Movie EVER! earned the dubious distinction of selling a single $11 ticket during its opening weekend at a single theater in Los Angeles. But his follow-up, Midget Zombie Takeover , has already improved upon that. Berggoetz (he’s front and center in the above photo) premiered Midget Zombie Takeover at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Winchester, VA on Feb. 8, and, according to Box Office Mojo , the picture earned $2,755 — more than its $2000 budget and a 25,000-percent improvement over his last film’s opening. (The movie’s trailer is posted below.) In an email, the Denver-based filmmaker writes that the capacity crowd at the Drafthouse “went nuts” and that theater owner “Steve Nerangis told me he’s never heard so much laughing at a film in all his years of owning the theater.” Berggoetz adds that this initial reception and “nothing but great reviews since its release” have translated to cinemas booking Midget Zombie Takeover “not just as a midnight movie, but for multiple screenings” in some cases. He also notes that a theater in Phoenix is considering booking the film for entire week — the first time that his work has received such a lengthy showing. The moral of the story? Being known as the guy with the worst movie opening ever has turned out to be a pretty good thing for Berggoetz. “While I wouldn’t call the $11 opening weekend debacle a badge of honor, it soon became, and remains, a god-send,” he writes. “I still get inquiries from fans all over the world asking about the film, and it really led to me making some great connections.” Although Box Office Mojo reports The Worst Movie EVER! has earned only $10,194 since November 2012, Berggoetz says he got a book deal and speaking gigs out of the ensuing publicity. Last October, he published: The Independent Filmmaker’s Guide: Make Your Feature Film for $2,000 . As he puts it, “Had The Worst Movie EVER! done $110 its opening weekend, a lot of these doors (maybe all of them) wouldn’t have opened for me. So while that opening weekend was a complete bummer at first, I wouldn’t trade it for anything (other than a $20 million opening weekend).” And as he prepares to return to the city where he was humiliated in 2011, Berggoetz is confident that, this time around, he’ll be vindicated. “At this point there are more than 50 people who have contacted me online to say they’ll be attending the midnight screening on Saturday, March 23 at the Laemmle NoHo 7 in North Hollywood,” writes the filmmaker, who has clearly learned something about promotion and marketing since then. “So it looks like we’ll post our best L.A. box office numbers yet!” [ Box Office Mojo ] Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. After an illustrious career playing intimidating characters, Ray Liotta got to see how the other half lives (and begs for mercy) in Killing Them Softly . I sat down with the actor to discuss his harrowing beating scene — which will be much-discussed after the movie’s opening weekend — and the underlying politics of Brad Pitt and director Andrew Dominik’s stylish film noir. Criminals who listen to NPR? During Oscar season, anything’s possible. Check out my full interview with Ray Liotta below: Follow Movieline on Twitter . Follow Grace Randolph on Twitter .
Also in Monday morning’s round-up of news briefs, Red Hook Summer and 2 Days In New York lead an unspectacular weekend in the specialty box office. Red Hook Summer , 2 Days In New York Debuts So-So: Specialty Box Office A pair of New York-centric limited releases debuted in exclusive runs in NYC over the weekend and the numerical results were decent at best. Red Hook Summer and 2 Days In New York lead specialty openers with limited runs. Spike Lee’s latest Brooklyn tale Red Hook Summer bowed in four locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, averaging $10,525. The film doesn’t have major stars and its distributor touted its opening on four screens instead of the “safer route” of two locations as many specialty openings do, Deadline reports . Foreign Box Office: Dark Knight Rises Still Tops The box office was down overall with summer heat and the Olympics blamed for a suppression of the numbers. The Dark Knight Rises took the top spot overseas, taking in $34.2 million, down 50% from the prior week, from 58 offshore markets, THR reports . R.I.P. Al Freeman Jr. The son of African American stage actor Al Freeman (1884-1956), and star of stage, TV and film, Al Freeman Jr., has died at the age of 78 years old. In 1967, Freeman Jr. co-starred with Shirley Knight in the film version of Leroi Jones’ (Amiri Baraka’s) off-Broadway play Dutchman , which earned him critical kudos, and further attention for his portrayal of a black subway passenger victimized by a frantic white woman, Shadow and Act reports .
The Bourne Legacy and The Campaign opened over the weekend with enough gusto to topple The Dark Knight Rises from its box office throne, though the final installment in the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman trilogy still held solid in the third spot in the overall box office rankings. Hope Springs gained momentum after its mid-week bow, while Total Recall lands soft in its second frame. 1. The Bourne Legacy Gross: $40,265,491 Screens: 3,745 (PSA: $10,752) Week: 1 The latest Bourne easily snatched the top spot in the overall box office in its debut, ending the long reign of The Dark Knight Rises . But compared to its most immediate predecessor, the latest installment came in a bit thinner. The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) landed at just per $69.28 million in its opening weekend in 3,660 theaters, averaging $18,929. The pic went on to gross over $227.47 million in the domestic box office. Legacy also opened in 13 small territories, grossing $7.8 million, bringing its worldwide total to $48.1 million. 2. The Campaign Gross: $27.44 million Screens: 3,205 (PSA: $8,562) Week : 1 The comedy touched the funny bone for audiences, grabbing the second spot in the box office. The Dark Knight Rises Gross: $19.54 million (Cume: $390,149,000) Screens: 3,690 (PSA: $5,295) Week: 4 (Change: – 45%) The Christopher Nolan-directed Batman finale held the top spot for three weeks in the domestic box office, but has likely crested Stateside. The blockbuster dropped 552 theaters from the previous week and its screen average came in at $5,295 vs the previous weekend’s $8,590. Its worldwide cume is now well over $835.4 million. 4. Hope Springs Gross: $15.6 million (Cume: $20,053,000 – Opened Wednesday) Screens: 2,361 (PSA: $6,607) Week: 1 The Meryl Streep-starrer opened quietly mid-week, but received a flurry of audience attention as the weekend hit. Streep’s Julie & Julia , for comparison sake, debuted on 2,354 theaters in 2009, grossing just north of $20 million, averaging $8,508. 5. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days Gross: $8,200,000 (Cume: $30,554,008) Screens: 3,401 (PSA: $2,411) Week: 2 (Change: – 44%) The comedy added just 10 locations in its second weekend. Its worldwide gross is now over $36.55 million. 6. Total Recall Gross: $8.1 million (Cume: $44.188 million) Screens: 3,601 (PSA: $2,249) Week: 2 (Change: – 68%) The Total Recall reboot stayed in the same number of theaters and in its second round, the title appears to be sputtering with a 68% decline in gross compared to its tepid opening weekend of $26 million. Overseas, the pic has grossed an additional $27.5 million.
The Avengers will officially assemble again. Disney announced the obvious today: following a record-shattering opening weekend , the superhero blockbuster will come out with a sequel at an undetermined date in the future. In related, even less obvious news, Kim Kardashian likes money. ” The Avengers isn’t just a film,” said Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger to CNBC. “It’s a franchise from our perspective. Obviously, it was helped a lot by the success of the Iron Man movies and of Tho r and Captain America . From The Avengers we get a chance to make Thor 2 and Captain America 2 and
