Source: AFP Contributor / Getty Are you that person who roots for the villains in movies? Well Twitter user Zelda Williams is on your side. Over the past two days, she’s been making a strong case for Disney villains and why we should put some respect on their name. If you let her tell it, the “heroes” of the story were more problematic than their antagonists. Screw those unachievable paradigms we called Disney Princesses, I only ever related to the smart but overlooked three dimensional characters they called villains, and here’s why: (a thread) pic.twitter.com/MJRGBO395p — Zelda Williams (@zeldawilliams) June 2, 2018 From The Little Mermaid to The Lion King , swipe through to peep how Zelda is flipping people’s perspective on who’s the “bad guy” in a movie.
Image via J Films Cardo Got Wings Talks Kendrick Lamar, Drake And Producing Career Some of you might be familiar with the producer tag “ Cardo got wings “. It’s likely that you’ve heard it even if you didn’t know what you were hearing. The Denver, Colorado-born producer, Cardo, has engineered some of the biggest hip-hop bangers over the past several years and more recently, Drake’s new number 1 record “God’s Plan”. The musician is also responsible for the new Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott song on Black Panther: The Album . Cardo recently spoke to Digital Trends about his career, influences and more. @CardoGotWings sent Kendrick the beat for his Travis Scott #BlackPanther soundtrack collab in October, a month after he sent @Drake the beat for God's Plan THAT + sooo much more in our interview: https://t.co/XxLfnqQCVs pic.twitter.com/gyrZ0wuprV — Keith Nelson Jr (@JusAire) February 7, 2018 On Drake’s “God’s Plan”: This year you went from bubbling under the surface to co-producing Drake’s #1 record, God’s Plan. How did you make that beat? What is your reaction to the response. It was really my cousin’s idea, Young Exclusive. He brought it to the table, sent it to me, I did what I had to do, then sent it to Drake around September 2017. The name of the beat originally was called Grace of God, which was really weird. He called the song God’s Plan … My cousin was like, “Yo, this is destined for us.” On Kendrick Lamar: My relationship with [Kendrick] is that’s my bro, bro. We have a cool, solid relationship. We exchange ideas and he’ll tell me what he got in mind. I’ll be like, “Alright, cool.” I’ll send it back to him and he goes, “This is it. This is ear candy.” You can read the interview in full by clicking the DT link above. We look forward to what Cardo’s talent brings in the future.

Caitlyn Jenner Says Kardashians Are Icing Her Out Over Book Details Kimmy and crew have consistently mentioned all season of KUWTK how disappointed they are in Caitlyn for trash-talking their father and mother and thus the whole Kardashian fam in her new book…but Caitlyn tells Cambridge Union via Too Fab she barely even talks about them in the first place: “I tried to be honest in my book — very fair and very nice. Unfortunately, they didn’t take it that way. In the book I express some opinions and got shut down. It was not about the Kardashians. They were only mentioned on 20 pages. They made it more about them on television. The book was about my life. That caused a lot of the separation between us.” Well, in all fairness, that’s probably the only 20 pages they read… Either way, Caitlyn says the Kardashian girls have pretty much turned their backs on him after he raised them from a young age, all over this book and their Mom’s hurt feelings . “It’s been a little bit tough over the past couple of years on the Kardashian side. To be honest, I don’t talk to them anymore. Kim I haven’t talked to in a year. They don’t want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt.” Have you read Caitlyn’s book at all? Can you understand why the Kardashians removed Cait from the family group chat? Splash/WENN

We've learned two things about Rihanna over the past several days: She is not a fan of Chris Brown any longer. She is a very big fan of LeBron James. The pop singer attended Game 1 of the NBA Finals this month, sat courtside and cheered loudly for the Cleveland Cavaliers star. Alas, his team fell to the Golden State Warriors, both in the opening contest and overall in the championship round, by a score of four games to one. It wasn't an especially close series, which is why one of the highlights took place after Kevin Durant drilled a three-pointer and then stared down Rihanna . He was very much aware of where RiRi's rooting interests lay. Fast forward to the day after the Warriors earned the title with a 129-120 victory in Game 5 and Rihanna wasn't done paying tribute to James, who is often referred to as “King.” In one of the most random and hilarious videos we've seen shared by a celebrity on social media in awhile, the artist posted a lengthy clip from The Lion King. Except she's imposed her own face over that of Simba. And the face of LeBron over Mufasa. And the face of Durant over Scar. The scene in question is one of the most dramatic in the classic film, as Mufasa saves Simba's life, only to then be killed by his own brother. So, in this analogy, Rihanna is accusing Durant of… murder? “#LongLiveTheKing #KingisStillKingBitch (whispers congrats to KD, cause….ROCNation) BUT: me and @mdollas11 beefing all summer!!” wrote Rihanna as a caption to this footage. Check it out below – and prepare to be confused/impressed/humored…
