This Is Us Season 2 Teaser: Break Out the Tissues!

SPOILER ALERT: You will need a box of Kleenex to get through the following video. At the NBC Upfront Presentation in New York City this morning, the network gave fans their first look at This Is Us Season 2. Sort of. While the cast and crew of everyone's favorite freshman drama is yet to return to work on new episodes just yet, NBC did release a video of fans sharing stories about how the series affected their own lives over the past few months. And then these viewers received a surprise of a lifetime: the This Is Us cast showed up! This Is Us wrapped up its first season in March on an unexpected note, as the finale mostly focused on Milo Ventimiglia's and Mandy Moore's Rebecca's failing marriage in flashbacks. A majority fans were expecting to learn how Jack passed away; they felt short-changed by the episode, a reaction that “bummed” Mandy Moore out. Said the actress to E! News earlier this spring: “I'm really proud of the work we did and proud of the episode and anytime anybody asked me, I said, you're not going to find out how Jack dies. “I don't know why people are so fixated on that!” Added Ventimiglia: “You have to understand that what we're telling, the stories we're telling are still gonna hit home, and you're going to discover more about this family that you fell in love with.” Hey, we understand! And we'll be there for Season 2. Those who don't understand this excitement should go watch This Is Us online in order to catch up. Check out the fun video below!

Jon Stewart to the Media: STOP WHINING!

Jon Stewart made a return to late-night television on Monday.   The former Daily Show host didn't just appear on The Late Late Show with Stephen Colbert…   … he sat behind the host's desk and gave a 10-minute, passionate speech directly into the camera.   It started, of course, with your basic criticism of President Donald Trump.   Stewart went on and on about all the lies Trump has told over the past few weeks, but he then turned his attention to the media.   And he REALLY let them have it.   “Can I talk to the media for a moment?” Stewart said, sort of keeping things light but also delivering a series message.   “Hey, guys. Hey, media. So I heard Donald broke up with you. Stings a little, doesn’t it? You finally thought you’d met your match. A blabbermouth who’s as thin-skinned and narcissistic as you are.    “Well, now it’s over! Well, good riddance, I say! Kick him to the curb.”   Stewart, ever the media critic, proceeded to spend a few more minutes criticizing reporters for failing to truly actually Trump accountable for all he did and said during election season.   But he wrapped up the segment with a few uplifting words. In a manner of speaking.   “Here’s my point,” he explained.   “This breakup with Donald Trump has given you, the media, an amazing opportunity for self-reflection and improvement. Instead of worrying about whether Trump is un-American, or if he thinks you’re the enemy, or if he’s being mean to you, or if he’s going to let you go back into the briefings, do something for yourself.    “Self-improvement! Take up a hobby. I recommend journalism.”   Watch Stewart's full rant/pep talk/segment below and then sound off: DO YOU AGREE?

For many, 2016 was not a year to remember. Just take a look at who passed away. At what sort of events befell the world. At who was elected President of the United States . And, according to BabyCenter.com, in descending order, these were the most popular names given to girls by their parents over the past 12 months… 19. Chloe Chloe Grace Moretz is one of the most outspoken young actresses out there. You could do worse than to name your child after her. 18. Madison Wow. But it means “noble,” so this is a photo of John Noble. 16. Aubrey We love Aubrey Plaza! We approve of this name! 15. Madelyn We can only assume that many parents out there watch Kate Plus 8 and like Madelyn Gosselin best. 14. Hillary Speaks on 2016 Election Loss: I’m Never Leaving the House!

Hillary Clinton is struggling to come to grips with the idea that Donald Trump is U.S. President-Elect , but she's getting on with her life too. Wednesday, the former Secretary of State made her first public appearance since the stunning 2016 election results of last week. At a Children's Defense Fund event in Washington, D.C., there was no avoiding the fact that she was still reeling from the experience. “I know that over the past week a lot of people have asked themselves whether America is the country we thought it was,” she said. “The divisions laid bare by this election run deep.” “But please listen to me when I say this: America is worth it. Our children are worth it. Believe in our country, we fight for our values.” “[We] never, ever give up.” The fact that we know who won the popular vote by more than 1 million votes is likely of zero solace to our nation's 42nd FLOTUS. “”There have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do was just to curl up with a good book or our dogs,” she said. “And never leave the house again.” In that sentiment, she is far from alone. No matter how conciliatory and hopeful she may be about a Trump presidency, this has got to hurt. See highlights of Clinton’s speech below …

Bad Luck Chuck: 31-Year-Old Florida Man Survives Lightning Strike, Spider, Alligator And Snake Bites

31-Year-Old Florida Man Survives Lightning Strike, Venomous Spider And Snake Bites A Florida man might want to change his name to “Bad Luck Chuck” after a series of unfortunate events turned his life all the way around reports AP News : Kyle Cook can’t decide whether he’s really unlucky or incredibly fortunate. Over the past four years, the 31-year-old Florida man has survived a lightning strike, a bite by a venomous spider and — most recently — an attack by a rattlesnake in his backyard in Lakeland, southwest of Orlando. “I need to get a (protective) bubble,” Cook told The Ledger. His father, Mike Cook, sees it another way. “He’s a walking Murphy’s law,” the elder Cook said. “I walk on the other side of the mall.” On Aug. 11, the younger Cook was almost finished cutting the grass at his family’s rented house when he heard a loud rattling sound. First he thought it was the buzzing of cicadas. Then, he thought the push mower might be making the noise so he shut it off. That’s when he saw the snake coiled about 3 feet from his right foot. He estimated it was about 5 feet long and had a girth the size of a soda can. Even before the latest incidents, Cook said he’s had many misadventures. He once got bitten by an alligator that he “accidentally” caught while fishing. And he was bitten by his friend’s Burmese python, which he was trying to feed. “It’s been a rough four years,” he said. “Maybe the higher up … is trying to get your attention that maybe something is going wrong. Or maybe I’ve simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time my whole life.” Murphy’s Law in the flesh! Continue reading
