The same exact skintight outfit, as luck (or fabric) would have it, that the 43-year-old was wearing during her October 12 concert in Italy when a similar incident occurred. Courtney Robertson was photographed at the Neil Lane jewelry store in Los Angeles Sunday, returning her $80,000 engagement ring from Ben Flajnik. Guess it really is over. Will Emily Maynard be far behind? Robertson, who won Flajnik’s heart on season 16 of The Bachelor, looked glum as she handed over the ring – followed by celebrity news photographers of course. Winners of The Bachelor and Bachelorette do not pay for the rings and must return them if the relationship goes south … so pretty much twice per calendar year. The only real winner? Lane, with his PR from the show. Don’t feel too bad for Courtney, however. The 29-year-old model has already moved on with the runner-up of this summer’s Bachelorette season, in fact. Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. stunned onlookers while they were spotted enjoying an intimate meal on Thursday night in Phoenix, Ariz. They were seen kissing just one week after she split with Ben. Arie was rejected by Maynard in favor of Jef Holm , who she reportedly split with as well. Another Bachelorette romance is on thin ice after Emily Maynard was caught cheating on fiance Jef Holm … according to an unreliable tabloid report. The celebrity gossip magazine reports that Emily fled a recent vacation in tears after Jef discovered her sending explicit photos and texts to another man. We’re talking seriously dirty stuff here. Allegedly. “There were texts and pictures: ‘Let’s do this and that with each other,'” says a source. Yikes. Not only that, the bad scene allegedly went down at a vacation rental where Jef Holm had taken Emily Maynard to meet his extended family. “Jef and Emily went into a bedroom and were yelling. He said, ‘You’ve been f**king cheating on me for months!’” a source is quoted as saying. His final words to her? “‘Pack your s**t and get the f**k out.'” Yeah. If that’s true, obviously this is serious and shady on her part, but we have our doubts. Considering the source, it’s a dubious claim at best. If there’s any tension between Emily Maynard and Jef, they sure weren’t showing it during a lovey-dovey outing in Charlotte, N.C., yesterday. The Bachelorette couple ran errands in her hometown, and either they were trying to not-so-subtly deny Us ‘ cover story, or they’re just that cute. Troubled, oft-nude Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is lashing out at her mother again and threatening to take her a$$ to court to get custody of her son … seriously. As fans know, Barbara Evans has custody of Jenelle’s son Jace, 3. Over the weekend, during the latest Jenelle Evans nude pic scandal, said claims that Babs refused to communicate with her about a surgery the little boy had. She’s also fed up about her mom limiting her time with Jace. “I’m so upset with my mom,” the reality star wrote on her website . “Everyone always claims I don’t try hard enough with Jace … you’re wrong!” “I just called her this morning 8 times before she actually answered and she said that Jace had a surgery yesterday and I can’t spend time with him again until FRIDAY.” “Like what the f*ck?! He had a surgery and you couldn’t even tell me so if something went wrong during the surgery I wouldn’t be there?! Thanks a lot.” Jenelle, who is also enraged over her naked pic leak by James Duffy (or someone else, who the heck knows), says her mom won’t even return her calls. She also says at age 60, her mother’s health is failing and if her osteoporosis gets worse she worries that she might be too sick to take care of Jace. “Why can’t she just give custody back to me?!” Jenelle rails on her blog and then lists the reasons why she should have custody of her son again. “I go to school, work 3 jobs online at home, took volunteer parenting classes, completed 12 months probation and was sober for 8 months of that period.” “AND I took anger management classes. Also I’ve been seeing my psychiatrist regularly and taking my medication for my bi-polar disorder as prescribed.” “I don’t know…. I’m very furious but I guess I’ll have to wait until my expungement goes through for my criminal record and then I’ll fight for custody.” “As for now, this custody battle is a waiting game until I can file for a complaint against my mother and take her to court.” That courtroom battle should be one for the ages. Earlier this summer, Roger Clemens was found not guilty of lying to a grand jury over his alleged steroid use. But the fireballer apparently is guilty of making like Brett Favre: no, he hasn’t texted a photo of his penis to any young female employees. But he also doesn’t know when to truly retire. Clemens, 50, has actually signed with the Sugar Land (Texas) Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League and is expected to start for the minor league organization on Saturday. Note to Roger Clemens: Stick to golf. Agent Randy Hendricks hasn’t said anything about his client attempting a Major League comeback if all goes well, but did say in a statement: “His fastball was clocked at 87 mph; all of his pitches were working. He threw a three-inning simulated game after an extensive workout warm-up.” Clemens last pitched for the Yankees in 2007, finishing 6-6 with a 4.18 ERA. His 4,672 strikeouts rank third all-time and he was named to 11 All-Star Games. He’s also eligible for the Hall of Fame next year – barring a return to Major League Baseball – although voters are unlikely to vote for the man who most people believe took performance enhancing drugs for many years during the second half of his career.
Kaitlin Nootbaar, an Oklahoma high school valedictorian, is being denied her diploma … because she said the word HELL in her May graduation speech. She graduated from Prague High School with a 4.0 GPA, but has been told she will have to submit a written apology in order to receive her diploma. “We went to the office and asked for the diploma and the principal said, ‘Your diploma is right here but you’re not getting it,'” her dad, David, recalled. “‘Close the door, we have a problem.'”
Myla Sinanaj thinks Kim Kardashian is a cruel bitch . But the random brunette has no harsh things to say about Kris Humphries, as evidenced today when she was deposed by Kardashian’s attorney as part of that estranged’s couples ongoing divorce battle. Insiders tell TMZ that Sinanaj testified to the following under oath: She never dated Humphries. She was never pregnant with his child. She has never received any money from him. Did she ever have sex with the power forward? Myla’s lawyer reportedly told his client not to answer that question. Sinanaj also said she never considered a lawsuit against Humphries for telling the FBI she made efforts to blackmail him. Which is all well and good… except she did. Attorney Joe Tacopina drafted a 26-page defamation suit on her behalf. It also came out during the deposition that Myla no longer works at the hotel where she and Kris met earlier this year. We have no idea why not. She’s clearly a model employee and human being.
Hilary Swank and John Campisi have broken up. A rep for the Academy Award-winning actress confirms that she and her boyfriend of five years have decided to end their relationship . The pair split earlier this summer, her rep said. The actress, who has spent the majority of the summer filming Mary & Martha in South Africa and Wilmington, N.C., and Campisi began dating in 2007.
