Taylor Momsen, formerly of Gossip Girl fame, is “Going to Hell.” In a manner of speaking of course, though her new music video does live up to its title. Now the frontwoman of the rock band The Pretty Reckless, 20-year-old T-Moms writhes around in a latex body suit in the group’s video for the single. That’s not even the least of it. A choppily-edited “Going to Hell” music video features snakes, whited-out eyes and some seriously hedonistic partying. Check it out below … just not too close to bedtime: The Pretty Reckless – Going To Hell The song is the title track to The Pretty Reckless’ second album, which is slated for a 2014 release. They had a hit in 2010 with “Make Me Wanna Die.” We’ve already seen Taylor Momsen topless and posing for Maxim in promoting the new effort, so who knows what she has in store as the release nears. The group has opened for Marilyn Manson, FYI. Just in case you thought you were seeing the musical incarnation of Jenny Humphrey here. The more you know.
Courtney Robertson was photographed at the Neil Lane jewelry store in Los Angeles Sunday, returning her $80,000 engagement ring from Ben Flajnik. Guess it really is over. Will Emily Maynard be far behind? Robertson, who won Flajnik’s heart on season 16 of The Bachelor, looked glum as she handed over the ring – followed by celebrity news photographers of course. Winners of The Bachelor and Bachelorette do not pay for the rings and must return them if the relationship goes south … so pretty much twice per calendar year. The only real winner? Lane, with his PR from the show. Don’t feel too bad for Courtney, however. The 29-year-old model has already moved on with the runner-up of this summer’s Bachelorette season, in fact. Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. stunned onlookers while they were spotted enjoying an intimate meal on Thursday night in Phoenix, Ariz. They were seen kissing just one week after she split with Ben. Arie was rejected by Maynard in favor of Jef Holm , who she reportedly split with as well. That split has not been confirmed by the couple, however. [Photo: Pacific Coast News]
Raccoon Eyes is back with a vengeance. Former Gossip Girl rebel and current Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen strips down for “Under the Water,” a new spoken-word video from her band. Produced by Amp Rock TV, the Pretty Reckless effort is part of a series of similarly artistic videos from big music names. The content is … interesting. Never one to shy away from pushing the envelope, Taylor Momsen is completely naked in the “Under the Water” video, waxing philosophical throughout. It was bound to happen. She’s 19 now, so don’t worry about that. Fortunately, her signature eyeliner is back with reinforcements. Take a look at the video below and see what you make of it … Pretty Reckless – Under the Water

By MTV News staff Taylor Momsen Photo: Ian Gavan/Getty Images The O Music Awards are almost upon us, and while the actual awards show doesn’t premiere until next Thursday, the first O Music Award for Most Innovative Music Video will be presented Monday at 4 p.m. ET after some spirited debate from acclaimed video director Wayne Isham, Mashable’s Brenna Ehrlich and MTV News’ James Montgomery. As part of MTV News’ countdown to the interactive event — fans can still vote for their favorite boundary-pushing, genre-expanding clip over at the O Music Awards site — we’ve been asking celebs to describe what innovation means to them. “It’s something that definitely is unique, that utilizes either new media or new technologies,” said pro skater Tony Hawk. “It’s something that keeps you interested, all the way through,” “Gossip Girl” actress and Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen added. Rob Sheffield from Rolling Stone said “innovative” doesn’t mean expensive or flashy. “It’s not the budget, it’s not the effects; it’s the pizzazz the star is actually bring to the camera,” he said. Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege of Chiddy Bang said innovation is about being different. “Just trying to be unconventional,” he said. “You say, ‘What’s unconventional?’ It’s just doing something that isn’t really done.” On Monday morning, the original list of 10 nominees will be whittled down to the top five vote-getters, and then, during the debate, our roundtable and the Internet audience will cut that list down to the final three. At the very end, we’ll announce the winner of the very first O Music Award for Most Innovative Video. The O Music Awards debate for the Most Innovative Music Video, presented by Fuze, will stream live on OMusicAwards.com and MTV.com at 4 p.m. ET on Monday. The inaugural O Music Awards will stream live from Las Vegas at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on OMusicAwards.com . Simon Cowell has not announced full lineup yet. By Gil Kaufman Nicki Minaj Photo: Jason LaVeris/ Getty Images Simon Cowell knows how this hype game works. As his old cronies at “American Idol” chug along just fine without him, the former Minister of Mean has managed to stoke the fires for months with speculation about who might sit on the judging panel of his upcoming U.S. version of the “X Factor” reality singing competition. The latest names thrown into the mix are the most unlikely to date: Nicki Minaj and bad girl singer/actress Taylor Momsen. An “X Factor” spokesperson did not return requests for comment, and both artists’ camps offered a “no comment” on the rumors. The New York Post. claimed Minaj met with Cowell a few weeks ago in Los Angeles and that the meeting went well and Cowell thought she fit in well with his plan to find a next-generation musical talent on what he has promised will be the “best judging panel” on TV . Among the other names that have been tossed in the hopper over the past few months: former Pussycat Dolls leader Nicole Scherzinger, Rihanna, Enrique Iglesias, Cowell’s former “Idol” sparring partner Paula Abdul, Jessica Simpson, ex-Spice Girl Mel B, former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland, fallen star George Michael, British pop singer Cheryl Cole and ex-Sony boss Tommy Mottola. Celebuzz claimed that former “Gossip Girl” bad girl Momsen is also in the running. The 17-year-old Pretty Reckless singer is apparently also being considered because she would bring a “young, hip and edgy” vibe to the show. With auditions for the show kicking off Sunday in Los Angeles, only one judge’s seat has been filled. Last week, it was announced that famed producer and former Island Def Jam CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid had joined the show, though one of Reid’s former prot

The actress tells E! News that she’ll spend ‘two more years’ on the CW show. By Jocelyn Vena Leighton Meester Photo: David Livingston/ Getty Images It seems that Leighton Meester won’t be gossiping on the small screen for too much longer. The actress recently dished to E! News that she would be bidding her role as Blair Waldorf a fond farewell and leaving “Gossip Girl” behind after “two more years.” The singer/actress had a really good reason why she has such a specific time frame for when she’s plans to exit the CW show. “Because we’re under contract,” she explained. The actress, who appears in the upcoming Gwyneth Paltrow flick “Country Strong,” added that while she’s ready to leave the series behind, she “obviously enjoys working on the show and living in New York.” She maintained that producers are supportive of her decision, as well as the choice of her other castmates to pursue outside interests. “It allows you to be ready for when the show’s over,” Meester said, adding, “I don’t know [if the series will end when I leave,] but I think there’s that old saying about wanting to go out on top.” Fellow “Gossip Girl” starlet Taylor Momsen recently was put on indefinite hiatus from the program. The actress, like Meester, has been busy pursuing a music career — with her band the Pretty Reckless — and also is the face of Madonna’s Material Girl clothing company and John Galliano’s latest perfume campaign. Meester has a long-simmering solo album in the works, and has several films under her belt, including “Monte Carlo” with Selena Gomez and Corey Monteith and “The Roommate” co-starring lookalike actress Minka Kelly. While her move from the small screen to the big screen is already under way, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t consider returning to TV. “Um, I never say never,” Meester said. “It would have to be the right show just like it would have [to be] the right movie.” What do you think about Meester’s plans to leave “Gossip Girl”? Tell us in the comments.
Don’t look at us. She said it. And because Taylor Momsen is so edgy and cool, she can talk about masturbating a lot and it makes her awesome. Deal. In an interview with The Guardian (UK), Taylor said unequivocally that “I’m a promoter of masturbation. Don’t sleep around … learn yourself first!” “Guys do, but girls don’t. And that’s why girls have so many bad experiences. But you can know your body, know yourself, know what feels good.” PLEASURE YOURSELF, KIDS : Seriously, the Gossip Girl star says it’s cool! “You don’t have to give yourself away just to have sexual relevance,” she adds. “I don’t think sex is something people should be afraid of. It’s part of human nature. I don’t think it should be shameful, particularly for girls and young girls.” The Pretty Reckless singer may look back on this and wish she’d shut her yap (that or she’ll blame her parents like usual), but doesn’t make a terrible point. Hold out, don’t put out, girls. There are alternatives that don’t talk back .
While Miley Cyrus is lambasted for age-inappropriate conduct and “fashion,” is Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen doing the same thing, only with less criticism? Momsen, who fronts the band The Pretty Reckless in addition to starring on the CW show, is a year younger than Miley, even. Yet are they treated differently. The reason for that is all Miles. First off, Momsen was never a Disney corporate drone trying to cultivate a religious, good-girl image, talking about reading the Bible in her spare time, etc. Taylor could not care less what you think, and has embraced having a bad girl persona on Gossip Girl and in life. There’s just no contradiction to point out. Taylor Momsen is even younger than Miley Cyrus. By contrast, when a Miley lap dance video surfaces, she poses topless in Vanity Fair or, well, anything about the “Can’t Be Tamed” video, it’s a little different. She’s grown up a lot , all right. Just not in a good way whatsoever. Miley may not be a teenage slut, but she’s definitely a hypocrite. The question is whether it makes her even more inappropriate than Courtney Love Jr. here. You decide: Which teenage singer is more inappropriate?
