Continuing the Duggar family baby boom, Counting On Season 3 Episode 4 featured the reveal of the gender of Jill Dillard’s second baby. Meanwhile, Jessa and Ben adjusted to being a family of four, Jinger tried to acclimate herself to Texas and Joy had dinner with Austin’s family. We already knew the gender of the baby, but it was still good getting to watch the couple reveal the news to their respective families. In true Jill and Derick fashion, they opted to reveal the news in a fun and exciting way. Before the gender reveal, Jill predicted she was having a girl, while Derick went with a boy. Most of the family took Jill’s side, thinking that because they already had a beautiful son, they would get a daughter this time around. As we already knew, Derick was right, and they were adding another boy to their brood. Both moms visited Jill and Derick to the ultrasound, and it turned into a special affair. Revealing the news to the rest of the family was like a huge scavenger hunt. Instead of calling them straight away, they hid a box of boy’s clothing and left some clues. In the end, Jordan found the package, earning his team a win. Yes, they split the family members into two teams. Hey, they have to do something to fill the episode up. Otherwise, we’d have cute confessionals of the expectant couple pondering what their little bundle of joy would be like and how they would cope being a two-child family. In case you’ve been living under a rock, the couple recently revealed the name of their son in a cute Instagram post. Yes, we say they are cute all the time because, well, they are. They’re adorable. “We are so excited to announce the name of Baby Dillard #2! Samuel Scott Dillard. We can’t wait to welcome him to the world and have him join our family very soon!” Elsewhere, Jinger and Jeremy were brushing up on their Spanish in hilarious fashion. It reminded us of school for some reason. You could tell the couple was enjoying their time together, brushing up on all of the Spanish terms. “I think that Jeremy keeps everything super exciting,” Jinger, 23, says. “Learning Spanish is just another thing that’s super enjoyable to do with him.” After Jinger had got the word for baby wrong, she revealed via an interview that it would be an important word for them going forward. “El bebe, that is a word that is important for us to learn because Jeremy and I always call each other babe,” she says. “We haven’t switched over to the Spanish word for baby.” Jeremy then said they should go to a restaurant and test out their new skills. “We might end up ordering a little boy or something,” she jokes. “They’ll bring out a child to entertain us.” Um, alright then. Lincoln Motor Company Presents Their MKZ In Atlanta Yesterday, August 31, a gang of Atlanta media headed to The Optimist to meet with Lincoln Motor Company to check out the newest MKZ. While there they test drove the Reserve 3.0L GTDI V6, with Ebony/Touring White Leather interior, Ruby Red Tinted CC Metallic in color, Driver’s Package model that includes a massaging chair to help you get through the tough Atlanta traffic. The MKZ is also equipped with Pre-Collision Assist, adaptive cruise control and more. During the experience, the media was told to follow the GPS that led them to a studio where Super-Producer Bryan Michael Cox and singer Anthony David were waiting. Later the duo joined a panel that including Upscale Magazine’s Satchel Jester and chatted with media about the importance of sound in the car and noted that with the Revel audio system, you can enjoy high quality sound while riding without the shaking of the doors. Anthony David performed for the media and sang an acoustic version of a song on his recent album “The Powerful Now” along with his hit “Forever More”…. while Bryan Michael Cox just came back from Italy with Mariah—we can’t wait to see what they are working on. CBS really doesn’t give much away in their edits for Big Brother. They want everyone to sign up for CBS All Access, rather than waiting days to find out what happened in the house. That’s probably why Big Brother Season 19 is airing exclusively on the online service. After the show ended on Thursday night, the battle for HOH raged on. It came down to Victor and Natalie. Natalie was ecstatic at the prospect of winning something and held on for dear life. She tried to get Victor to throw it to her, but his allegiance to his all-male alliance had him refusing her plea. In the end, Natalie had to give up because she was about to vomit. Victor promised he wouldn’t target her for eviction. She took the deal, but would he really keep her off the chopping block? Later that night, Paulie pulled Victor aside and made it clear they would be targeting Zakiyah for eviction. Victor got on board with this because it would signal one less female in the house. If you recall, Zakiyah is Paulie’s love interest, but maybe he’s targeting her in order to let his alliance know he wouldn’t be put down by having a showmance. Victor nominated Michelle and Zakiyah for eviction. After the nomination ceremony, Paulie had a change of heart and told his alliance members that they should target Michelle. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that Paulie is going to win the game if they don’t try get him out soon. One of the women needs to win HOH next week and end his reign of terror on the house. Maybe they should have let Frank stay. He for sure would have went after him. Michelle pretty much sobbed the whole day at the prospect of leaving the game. Her only hope is to win the veto. This will no doubt put a target on both him and Natalie. Natalie won it last week, so it shows that America are rooting for that particular showmance. Another week, another beauty pageant scandal… On Saturday night, Karlie Hay was crowned Miss Teen USA, representing the state of Texas and taking home the crown over four other finalists (who were all blonde-haired and blue-eyed). But it didn’t take long afterward for a few comments from Hay’s past to come back and haunt her. An astute Twitter user has tracked down a number of Tweets Hay sent in 2013 in which she dropped the N-Word on multiple occasions. It’s difficult to make out the context of this racial epithet use based on the following messages… … but what context could there really be for white woman to use this word that would make it remotely acceptable? Former Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford read about the scandal and decided to speak out on Twitter regarding Hay’s controversial past. “I can take the #missteenusa top 5 being an all white, all blonde top 5. What I can’t take is – why didn’t the winner clean up her page?” Crawford wrote on social media. “If u win any pageant – first things first. Clean up ur page. Cus if ur under 21 u shouldn’t b drinking&if ur WHITE the n word ain’t yo word!” We may have phrased it differently, but she makes some good points. Once Hay’s Tweets went viral, Karlie issued a public Mea Culpa that reads as follows: “Several years ago, I had many personal struggles and found myself in a place that is not representative of who I am as a person. I admit that I have used language publicly in the past which I am not proud of and that there is no excuse for,” she wrote on Instagram. News. “The language Karlie Hay used is unacceptable at any age and in no way reflects the values of The Miss Universe Organization. As Karlie stated, she was in a different place in her life and made a serious mistake she regrets and for which she sincerely apologizes,” the statement read. “Karlie learned many lessons through those personal struggles that reshaped her life and values. We as an organization are committed to supporting her continued growth.” Hay is only 18 years old. She’s young and we all make mistakes. Sometimes, a little advantage is all you need in the Big Brother house to change things up, but does it come with a price? Natalie won the first care package and it shocked the other houseguests. You really can’t blame them. She’s not playing the game at all. She’s won zero competitions and has previously made it clear that she’s only in the house for a vacation. Why sign up for Big Brother if you’re not going to play the game? Moreover, why would someone want to willing float on through the game? It’s clear she has fans, but they’re probably only fans because of her relationship with James. At the HOH competition, James seemed to be coaching her for the win and he didn’t even seem quiet about it. Everyone else knew what he was doing. They’re flaunting their showmance and it almost resulted in Natalie winning the HOH. I shudder to imagine what crazy decisions she would make with some power. Are they purposefully trying to stick out as targets? James seems to forget that he’s played the game before. Paul managed to hit the perfect shot first and secured his first HOH win of the summer. This meant that his alliance members were all safe. He was also pretty vocal about his plan to take out Bridgette. The thing that’s good about Paul is that once he has a plan, he wants to stick to it. It’s just a shame that his alliance members didn’t want to. Paulie seems to be getting the other houseguests to do his dirty work and that’s something that other houseguests will pick up on soon enough. Paul needed one of his own to sit pretty with Bridgette on the block, but trying to get someone was super awkward. The fairest way to do it would have been to put all the names in a hat and draw one out. Nicole was silly to even entertain the idea of going on the block. No one should willingly volunteer. At this rate, she’ll be out of the game by next week. Paulie’s decision to go on the block was a surprising one, but it showed his loyalty to Paul. Da’vonne is the target, but she seems to think that Nicole could be the one to go. Paul nominated Paulie and Bridgette for eviction. I haven’t written about UK Glamour models in a very long time. I was never really interested in them or the fact that these men’s magazines would do cheesy fucking photoshoots with them.
