Jana Duggar to Return to Television WITHOUT Her Family?!

We’ve known for quite some time now that the Duggar family will soon be returning to television  in a full-time capacity. There’s no official word on when the new show will premiere, but as we just found out moments ago, fan favorite Jana Duggar will be back on TV much sooner than expected. In fact, you can watch her tonight! You see, back in August Michaela Bates – from the Duggar-affiliated Bates family – married Brandon Keilen, and the whole thing was filmed for the family’s own reality series, Bringing Up Bates . The wedding episode will air tonight on UP TV (whatever that is), and as the only non-Bates bridesmaid, Jana will reportedly be featured prominently. Sources say the entire Duggar clan was in attendance ( Jill and Derick even returned from Central America for the occasion), but since Jana helped in the preparations, for once, she’ll play a starring role. Obviously, Jana will once again be a bridesmaid and not a bride, but at least she’ll play a bigger part in the episode than her sisters, which is a first in Duggar history. The two families are so close that insiders say Jinger Duggar and Lawson Bates  are courting. Despite rumors to the contrary, Jana has not found a suitable partner amongst the Bates boys, but clearly the family loves her just as much as 19 Kids fans do. Jared Leto Chops Off Hair to Play the Joker in Suicide Squad: FINALLY or Big Mistake?

Ever since we learned that Jared Leto was cast as the Joker in director David Ayers’ highly-anticipated Suicide Squad, we’ve been trying to imagine what the svelte, long-locked, eternally youthful actor would look like as Batman’s most iconic foe.  It’s probably a futile task, considering we couldn’t have have conjured up an accurate image of Heath Ledger’s Joker if you’d given us a thousand years and a gallon of LSD. But while Ledger was famously secretive about his preparations, Leto has been providing some clues as to what we can expect from his version of Gotham’s clown prince of crime. Last week, we learned that Leto is gaining weight for the role , because apparently he pictures the Joker as a sort of manic overweight comedian, a la Louie Anderson. (See every SNL cast ever for other examples.) Today, another piece of the puzzle fell into place as we learned that Leto’s Joker won’t be no gosh darn hippie: Yes, Tree Hugger Leto  has morphed back into Zoolander Leto by lopping off his famous locks. Social media seems split on the decision.  Some are thrilled to see that Leto is throwing it back to his days as Jordan Catalano on My So-Called Life. (Or the blonde in Fight Club, or the one-armed junkie in Requiem For a Dream. So many dreamy roles to choose from.) Others are decrying the loss of one of the great man-manes in Hollywood. Regardless of your feelings on Leto’s new ‘do, however, one thing is for sure – it’ll be a treat to see the heartthrob actor complete his transformation into one of the world’s most famous villains. Bling Ring First-Look: Emma Watson Struts For Sofia Coppola

Here is the first image from Sofia Coppola’s forthcoming The Bling Ring , which features Emma Watson leading a cabal of young thieves to the rich and famous. Clearly she means business! Are those Lindsay’s Lohan’s shades? Megan Fox’s shoes? Paris Hilton ‘s Frappuccino? Watson talked to EW (which debuted the image) about her preparations for the role, which are about as Method as you can get under the circumstances: “I just watched a ton of reality TV,” she says. “I was doing an English course [at Brown University]. So I would go from reading Virginia Woolf to [watching] Kim Kardashian. I kind of loved it, this mix of super-high and super-low culture. I think it was a nice balance.” Poor thing. Anyway, joining Watson above are [L-R] Taissa Farmiga, Israel Broussard, Katie Chang and Claire Julien. Blatter Praises South Africa for Preparations

Pretoria- With four days to go before the kick-off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa is more than ready to host the spectacle, says President Jacob Zuma. “South Africa is more than ready. For us the World Cup has already begun,” President Zuma told journalists on Sunday. The president said the country has been preparing for the tournament since 15 May 2004. He acknowledged the role played by FIFA President Sepp Blatter for his confidence in South Africa’s ability to host the World Cup in the face of doubt and Afro-pessimists. “It is clear that millions of our people have waited for years and look upon the tournament with hope, pride and a sense of belonging,” said the President who also acknowledged that the South African flag has become the most popular item on shopping lists auguring well for nation building. “This explosion of national pride is a priceless benefit of the World Cup tournament,” he added. The president added that the national team, Bafana Bafana, is ready and in fighting form ahead of Friday’s first game against Mexico. Yesterday th e national team beat Denmark 1- nil in Atteridgeville after beating Guatemala last week 5-nil. Blatter who accompanied Zuma to the briefing said: “”It was a long way to come with FIFA’s World Cup to Africa and to connect it with South Africa to make it an African World Cup. It was a long way to come but we did it. It’s an African World Cup and all the world.” Blatter will be bestowed with the Order of the Companions of OR Tambo tomorrow at the official welcome dinner hosted by government. “It is now all systems go. U2’s Frontman Bono Undergoes Emergency Back Surgery

Paul David Hewson a.k.a Bono of U2 undergone back surgery after an injury in their rehearsals for the preparations of their world tour. According to his manager as his representative to media, he is currently confined in Munich hospital since Friday after his operation in back surgery. Their manager, Paul McGuinness added that because of the injury, U2’s 360 Tour stop on June 3 in Salt Lake City has been postponed. After that date, the band was scheduled to play in Anaheim, California, on June 6 and 7, followed by Denver on June 12 and Oakland, California, on June 16. There’s no word whether other dates have been canceled. This was posted on their website in an MP3. Preparations to take on the US government when it declares martial law

THE .50 CALIBER Bushmaster bolt action rifle is a serious weapon. The model that Pvt. 1st Class Lee Pray is saving up for has a 2,500-yard range and comes with a Mark IV scope and an easy-load magazine. When the 25-year-old drove me to a mall in Watertown, New York, near the Fort Drum Army base, he brought me to see it in its glass case—he visits it periodically, like a kid coveting something at the toy store. It'll take plenty of military paychecks to cover the $5,600 price tag, but he considers the Bushmaster essential in his preparations to take on the US government when it declares martial law. His belief that that day is imminent has led Pray to a group called Oath Keepers, one of the fastest-growing “patriot” organizations on the right. Founded last April by Yale-educated lawyer and ex-Ron Paul aide Stewart Rhodes, the group has established itself as a hub in the sprawling anti-Obama movement that includes Tea Partiers, Birthers, and 912ers. Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, and Pat Buchanan have all sung its praises, and in December, a grassroots summit it helped organize drew such prominent guests as representatives Phil Gingrey and Paul Broun, both Georgia Republicans. There are scores of patriot groups, but what makes Oath Keepers unique is that its core membership consists of men and women in uniform, including soldiers, police, and veterans. At regular ceremonies in every state, members reaffirm their official oaths of service, pledging to protect the Constitution—but then they go a step further, vowing to disobey “unconstitutional” orders from what they view as an increasingly tyrannical government.
