As spotted on Bossip , Rocko and Future have mended their once sour relationship. On Friday, September 20 the “Wicked” rapper treated his hometown to a very special set of his Legendary Nights Tour. He not only brought out 21 Savage and Lil Baby but he also invited his former mentor and business partner. Naturally the surprise appearance took the crowd by surprise as they not only hugged it out but proceeded to perform “Chosen One” together. This peace treaty was highly unlikely as Rocko, who originally discovered Future , claimed he was not properly compensated when his former mentee signed his recording artist deal at Sony Music. In response to the allegations, Future said Rocko robbed him with an unfair contract. They would be at odds for almost five years. At the height of his success, Tekashi found himself in a war of words with the Rap-A-Lot shot caller due to some friction that went down between 6ix9ine and Prince’s son, J Prince Jr. and during his testimony last week, Tekashi revealed that he and his former gang, the Nine Trey Bloods actually robbed some Rap-A-Lot associates when they landed in New York a month after the initial incident. But according to TMZ , J Prince disputed 6ix9ine’s testimony and basically said that the Brooklyn troll turned snitch committed perjury by lying under oath. The rap boss says he’s been warning everyone for awhile … that if Tekashi “keeps campaigning with dumb sh*t that he was gonna get elected! Election Day has come and now I’m hearing lies he’s telling under oath about robbing me or representatives of #Rapalot.” J. Prince adds … “If him or any of those clowns were to try to rob me or anyone from the #Rapalot family bad news would’ve beat them home.” For those who aren’t familiar with how the drama between the two factions got started, word was that Tekashi 6ix9ine and J Prince Jr. met at a clothing store in Houston and chopped it up for a minute. Later on that night Tekashi and his crew were denied entry into a Rap-A-Lot party and things between the two factions really went south after that. In case you missed it … during day 2 of 6ix9ine’s snitch-fest, he detailed how his relationship with his former gang, the Nine Trey Bloods, began to sour. He claims he was denied entry to a Houston gig in March 2018 by Rap-A-Lot peeps because he didn’t “check in,” and it cost him money. As revenge for the diss, the Nine Treys planned to rob J. Prince’s people a month later in New York … and Tekashi says they pulled off an armed robbery on Rap-A-Lot reps in the lobby of a building. J. Prince says Tekashi’s version of events isn’t how it went down, and the gig he got turned away from was his son’s party … because they simply didn’t want him there. He says … “Let this be a lesson to those who know better to do better because there was never a question mark in my mind that this kid #takashi69 was rat material that’s why my sons didn’t allow him to come into their party. It was never about a rat checking in with us.” Whether or not the two individuals were actually Rap-A-Lot reps is unknown but what we do know is that Tekashi ain’t never put that work in on the streets, but he knows who did and is letting feds know who they are. And while it’s been years since he’s been in financial trouble, it doesn’t mean that the end is near. In fact, according to The Blast , Sony Music still has their hands out. In court documents obtained by The Blast , Herbert has yet to pay the $4 million he owes Sony Music, even after a judge ruled that he needed to pay the debt. As we reported earlier, the label gave Herbert the $4 million advance in order for him to find new talent. They lent the money with the expectation that it would eventually be recouped. In new documents, Sony claims, “No portion of the Judgment has been satisfied and the judgment continues to accrue interest. The label alleges that Herbert created a company called GloJoe in order to collect funds. Thus far, he’s collected $472,000. They also believe over 1 million dollars was collected at another point. Yoyo is experiencing ageism from her own daughter, and A1’s mother tried it when she insinuated that it’s Lyrica’s fault that A1 ain’t treating her right. Let’s start with Yoyo. We know she has been helping other rappers work on their technique through her rap school, but she’s also planning a musical comeback. She basically described her comeback as being the Yoyo we know, but with modern sensibilities. That’s going to be interesting given the mumble app tendencies of today’s most popular hits. If anything, the fans that grew up with her might be interested in hearing what she’s working with…or maybe not. It really is a mixed bag because people are so finicky but also arbitrary these days when it comes to what entertainment they like. Plus, this culture is dominated by youth and that is where Yoyo’s pregnant daughter comes in because a lot of people may feel Yoyo should fall back. Yoyo’s daughter feels like mom is doing too much, and wants her to settle down. She obviously wants her mom to settle down for selfish reasons. She wants her mom around to play grandma and help with the baby. Instead of being tactful about it she says, “You’ve always been working, it’s time for you to settle down you’re a grandma.” Yoyo replies, “Girl bye!” And it makes you wonder, why can’t Yoyo have everything she wants? It’s possible for her to be working and a doting grandmother. Why are people so bothered when women of a certain age are still about pursuing their passions? Do you think it would be a different response if Yoyo were a man? Let’s fast forward a bit. The episode ends with Lyrica and A1’s dysfunction. They’re not happy and haven’t been for a while. They both initially said they were going to try to work it out but then Lyrica said she found out about more infidelity that A1 was dishonest about and this makes her not sure about their future. It doesn’t help that A1’s mother, Pam, steps into the fray and creates more chaos. Pam called herself stepping in to help and only made things worse. She especially tried it when she said, “Men do stuff because of women.” Then she added that Lyrica never cooks. Basically, she’s saying that A1 cheating is Lyrica’s fault. A1’s goofy self is there agreeing with his mother. Unfortunately, a lot of people have the archaic and baseless view that a failed relationship is the woman’s fault. However, it’s obvious that A1 and Lyrica both play a part in their issues. If they’re serious about working it out then perhaps a therapist (or even Marriage Bootcamp ) is the best option. But if not, they should probably move on instead of playing tit for tat games, and definitely keep the meddling mamas out of their business. Was A1’s mother out of pocket with her comments? Just a week after word spread that Wesley Snipes, Rick Ross and Leslie Jones would be joining the original cast, Deadline is reporting that Shari Headly will indeed be returning to reprise her role as Lisa McDowell, but whether or not she’ll be Queen Lisa McDowell Joffer remains to be seen. According to previous reports the plot around Coming to America 2 revolves around Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) ready to take the reigns as King of Zamunda when he learns that he has a son living in Queens that he’s never known named Lavelle. At the request of his father King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones), Akeem takes to America to find his bastard son and bring him back to the kingdom and groom him to take the throne when his time comes. Whether or not that son was conceived with someone other than Lisa McDowell or it is their son but they separated before she told him she was pregnant is anyone’s guess at this point. Either way we’re still be heading down to the show to see what comedic shenanigans Eddie Murphy and company have in store for us. Coming to America 2 is slated to release December 18, 2020.

However, if you’ve been paying attention, this destiny was inevitable. Telfair was initially arrested in 2017 after police discovered guns in the car and another man were parked in illegally. According to Bleacher Report , Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced today (August 12) that Telfair caught the three-and-a-half year bid for gun possession. Back in April, it was reported that Telfair’s trial was nothing short of a circus. His estranged wife, and mistress, took the stand to drop dime on him while his sister basically threatened the former with the fade. In fact, Telfair’s sister was arrested by the FBI due to said threats a month later. Telfair would be eventually convicted of felony criminal possession of a weapon , and now he has learned his fate. Cold world. But at least it wasn’t the 15 years he could have been hit with.
