The gentleman who was also hit in the shooting has been given his freedom back. As reported by Page Six Kerry Lathan has been released from a detention center in California on Saturday, April 20. The Los Angle native witnessed the assassination of the “Racks In The Middle” rapper on March 31 where he too took a bullet to his back. Upon his release from the hospital, he was promptly put into police custody. As a felon who served 25 years for murder being with a known gang member was in direct violation of his parole terms. Luckily the legal system was able to apply common sense to his situation. His lawyer Lauren Noriega claimed that the 56-year-old was at the scene by chance. “He wasn’t there to propose any business to Nipsey . He had no idea that Nipsey would be there” Noriega explained. Previous reports alleged Nipsey was meeting him to give him free clothes. Lathan suffered a stroke while in custody and still has the bullet lodged in his back. Just a few days after surrendering to police over a felony car theft accusation, TMZ is reporting that YBN Almighty Jay caught a universal beatdown in New York City just hours after he and his crew got into a scuffle with Lil Tjay. In the videos below you can see YBN squaring up with LIL Tjay’s peoples in the afternoon outside of a Saks store in Manhattan before getting all kinds of hands and feet put on him later that night. The video circulating around social media shows YBN Almighty Jay already on the floor getting stomped out before making a run for it. In the next shot we see Blac Chyna’s ex getting mobbed by the same crew while they go through the pockets of his pants which at this point hang off his bare ass before he finally breaks free and makes a run for it. E ver since the tragic death of her son Trayvon Martin six years ago, Sybrina Fulton has become a powerful voice for social justice. She was recently honored by Benedict College in South Carolina with an honorary doctorate degree, WIS News reported. She received a Doctor of Humane Letters for her advocacy efforts. She turned the pain of losing her son into positivity with the launch of The Trayvon Martin Foundation; a non-profit designed to bring awareness to gun violence and provide support for individuals who have been through similar experiences. She is also the creator of Circle of Mothers, a group of women who have lost their children and other loved ones to senseless acts of violence. “Sybrina is a model of grace and strength,” Dr. Roslyn Clark Artis , President and CEO of Benedict College, said in a statement . “Because of her passion and dedication ‘we are all Trayvon’ and demand social justice for our sons.” The honors didn’t stop there for Fulton. She also was given a “Key to the City” from Mayor of Columbia Stephen K. Benjamin . Fulton took to Instagram to share her excitement about both honors. “I present to you……Dr. Sybrina Fulton,” she posted. “I went from the 2018 Commencement Convocation speaker at Benedict College to Doctor & I also received the key to the city from the Mayor of Columbia, SC.” Fulton’s accolades come shortly after The Trayvon Martin Foundation announced a partnership with PUMA where some of the proceeds from their ‘Peace on Earth’ sneakers will be donated to the organization in an effort to stop gun violence, Sole Collector reported. The sneakers were released on December 20. Some people watched the live feed and were appalled by what they saw. Kanye praised Trump, gave him a hug and spoke about how much of a hero he is and like a father figure. I haven’t done a post on Rihanna in a long time because I discovered Rita Ora, and frankly she is a hotter replacement. That’s not to say Rihanna isn’t still hot, she’d just whatever. And whatever doesn’t make Little Tuna happy anymore.
Puma is determined not to use athletes for their campaigns anymore. I guess they think using hot chicks and singers a better alternative. Must be working! Here is Cara Delevingne in a pretty fun shoot. Between her and Selena Gomez I think Puma is the hottest athletic wear company in the world now.
