Kim Kardashian: Lamar Odom LOVES Kanye’s New Album!

The recent reports about Lamar Odom's recovery from the 12 strokes that he suffered following a drug overdose have not been very encouraging. After miraculously emerging from his coma and effectively communicating with friends and family back in October, Lamar's progress has slowed considerably in recent months. Hospital insiders say Odom is having trouble walking  and is still unsure of why he's in the hospital. To make matters worse, the 36-year-old NBA star will need to leave Cedars-Sinai soon, but currently,  Lamar has no place to stay .  He's unable to live on his own, but Khloe Kardashian has declined to take him in for obvious reasons (They've been estranged for over a year, and she's already done a great deal to ensure that he receives the best care.), and Lamar is not close with any of his other family members. Now that we've thoroughly depressed the hell out of you, let's turn to some good news, shall we? It seems that Kim Kardashian recently visited Lamar and played him some tracks from Kanye West's new album, tentatively titled Swish . In the clip below, Kim discusses Lamar's rave response to the new Yeezy cuts. It's cool that Kanye is keeping his streak of stellar albums going, but obviously, the really great news here is that Odom is conscious enough of his surrounding that he's able to listen to music and offer an opinion. That's such an encouraging sign that it even made Kanye smile. Check it out:

Kourtney Kardashian Draws Gun, Says Not to "Mess" with Her

Might a sibling rivalry be brewing over an issue of national importance? Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian sat down for a special Q&A in San Francisco, telling attendees that ” we don’t have strict enough gun control ” in this country. That’s an opinion held by many. But not, it seems, an opinion shared by sister Kourtney Kardashian. Likely in a nod to Throwback Thursday, Kourtney has shared a photo on Instagram of her and Khloe Kardashian with weapons in their hands at a firing range. The photo was actually snapped as part of an outing the family went on way back on Season 1 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians . Kourtney simply wrote “Don’t Mess” as the caption to this throwback image, trying to sound all tough and, we can only presume, attempting to intimidate Scott Disick. According to recent reports, Disick was caught getting cozy with some girl in France late last month and Kourtney is considering leaving her baby daddy for real this time. And if Disick has a problem with this plan? He can direct his eyeballs to the photo above and dare to mess with Kourtney at his own risk.

Lil Wayne Slams Birdman on New Track: I Kept This Sh-t Together!

For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors of a Lil Wayne-Birdman feud, and neither party has done anything to confirm or deny the reports. Until today, that is.  The A-list emcee (who may or may not be dating Christina Milian ) fired shots at his former mentor today in the form of mixtape verse that both confirms the beef and pretty much settles it. Wayne states his case loud and clear in a track titled “Coco”…well, as clear as Wayne is capable of being, anyway. Have a listen: Lil Wayne: Coco If you can decipher the seizure-inducing flow, you’ll hear Weezy claim that he’s the one responsible for Birdman’s Cash Money empire: “Who kept this sh-t together? N–ga me, that’s who!” Wayne spits. “Cash Money is an army, I’m a one-man army!” Between the unexpected diss directed at the man who helped give him his start and his collaboration with Justin Bieber , we think it’s safe to say Wayne’s career has taken some unexpected turns lately.  While he may be exaggerating when he claims that he’s the only one keeping the YMCMB label operational, there’s no denying that Wayne is the company’s biggest asset. If Weezy decides to release his upcoming album Tha Carter V elsewhere, it could be mean the end of the one of the original Southern hip hop franchises. Birdman will be fine, though. Okay, Kardashians. You win this round. You’ve found something we cannot mock. Lamar Odom has gifted his wife with a puppy Boxer about whom Khloe Kardashian gushed over Twitter today. And for good reason. Look at the little guy!!!!! It’s unclear how old the dog is… or where Lamar got him from… or what his name may be. But who cares?!? Check out that face! Michelle Williams in Redface: Should Magazine Apologize?

AnOther Magazine is standing by its controversial photo of Michelle Williams. The Oscar winner poses for that publication’s latest issue (on an alternative cover) in what appears to be Native American attire, a look that has inspired many critics to react in horror and describe her costume as “redface.” But the British magazine refuses to issue an apology, explaining instead via statement to Yahoo News: “While we recognize the seriousness of this debate, the image in question in no way intends to mimic, trivialize or stereotype any particular ethnic group or culture, as recent reports suggest.” Adding that Williams is presented in a “series of eight different imaginary characters,” the magazine concludes: “All the characters in the story were inspired by multiple fashion and cultural references, characters and eras, as well as by our admiration of Ms. Williams as one of the most respected and talented actresses of her generation. While we dispute the suggestion that the image has a racist subtext in the strongest possible terms, we’re mortified to think that anyone would interpret it in this way.” What do you think? Salma Hayek Heritage Hullabaloo: Lost in Translation

It looks like Salma Hayek is off the hook… for an insulting gaffe she never made in the first place! In a recent cover story for the German edition of Vogue , the actress is asked about her role in Oliver Stone’s Savages and was originally quoted as saying: “I am proud to have been involved in this film with all these great actors. Honestly, I hardly had any memories of what it is to be Mexican. My life is completely different now.” It’s true that Hayek is married to French gazillionaire Francois-Henri Pinault , but Hispanic blog Guanabee doesn’t see that as an excuse for ignoring her heritage. “What did Salma mean by basically saying she forgot what it’s like to be a Mexican woman?” the site asked in response to Hayek. “That she’s too French and rich for our blood?” Not at all, says the star’s rep. He contacted E! News and explained that the “whole thing has been lost in translation. Salma is not disparaging Mexico in any way.” Translated, this is Hayek’s full quote: “I am proud to be in this movie with all these great actors. The truth is that I almost have to try and remember what it’s like to be Mexican. My life is different now. You cannot make yourself represent something. You have to be an individual, by being the best you can be.”

Jenelle Evans has been embroiled in naked photo scandals left and right, but says recent reports that she filmed a pornographic film are entirely untrue. The source of that rumor? None other than her mom Barbara. The oft-troubled Teen Mom 2 star has been BLASTING her family members in an intense Twitter battle after Babs claimed Jenelle “filmed a porno.” Jenelle slammed the report , tweeting: “This isn’t true. There isn’t a porno of me but this is what my mom said. I can’t stop crying. She hates me…” She shared the text from her mother that read: “Don’t worry. Ashleigh has the video of the porno with 3 other guys with a one night 🙂 stand with Roy Paterson before he went to jail.” No word on who Roy Paterson is, whether or not be boned the train wreck or if he’s responsible for the Jenelle Evans nude pic leak(s). Ashleigh Evans Wilson is Jenelle’s sister … who she is currently embroiled in a bitter fight with. Jenelle branded her mom and sister as “psycho.” Ashleigh told Star that Jenelle Evans, who is angling to regain custody of son Jace from Barbara , is “evil”. So, that about brings us up to date.

Despite Lil Wayne’s claims, Jay-Z is widely considered the best rapper living. His talent has afforded the former Marcy Projects resident trips to St. Tropez and luxury apartments in New York City. As nice as the money is for Jigga, he gives charitable donations to different organizations. Or does he? According to reports, hip-hop’s biggest figure only gave his own charity, The Shawn Carter Foundation , $6,431 in 2010. Jay-Z walked home with $67 million that year. In the same year, Beyonce made $87 million, after taxes, and contributed nary a copper penny to her husband’s scholarship foundation. Carter did just perform two sold out shows at Carnegie Hall where the proceeds were split between The Shawn Carter Foundation and the United Way of New York . Tickets ranged in price from $150 – $15,000. We know the total amount of ticket sales raised a nice sum of money for the charities, but exactly how much is actually going to the charities? Running your OWN Network isn’t as easy as it looks. (pun intended). Ever since end her talk show, Oprah has been faced with challenges to get build interest (and an audience) on her OWN Network. According to recent reports, her “O Magazine” has been suffering as well… From Ad Week Since Oprah’s namesake show went off the air last September, her magazine’s newsstand sales have also faded from sight. Brass at Hearst, which publishes the 2.4 million circulation O with Winfrey, had downplayed the impact of the show’s ending on the magazine, saying they expected fans to turn to it to get their Oprah fix. Yet, O, The Oprah Magazine’s newsstand sales plunged 32 percent to 413,363 in the second half of last year (after an 8 percent falloff in the first half), according to just-released Audit Bureau of Circulations figures. By comparison, all measured consumer magazines’ single-copy sales dropped 10 percent.
