Swirlin’ & Swangin’? Kendra Wilkinson Is Considering Open Relationship With Hubby Hank Baskett To Help Their Troubled Matrimony-dom! [Video]

Swirl gone wrong ? Via MailOnline reports : They have been married for more than four years, have a three-year-old son and a multi-million dollar fortune between them. But life isn’t going all that smoothly for Kendra Wilkinson and her sports star husband Hank Baskett in the new season of her reality show Kendra On Top. A new trailer for the show, which airs on WE TV, shows the couple’s marriage at crisis point – Kendra is seen in tears, talking to a therapist and even discussing an open relationship with Hank. ‘I shouldn’t even be married,’ the one-time party girl says in one clip, while Hank suggests: ‘We should just be single and live together.’ ‘So you’re asking for a open relationship?’ Kendra replies, before adding jokingly. ‘I’ve been waiting for this day my whole life.’ However, the idea grows, especially when she bumps into one of her ex-boyfriends working out at Hank’s gym. ‘You were the one who brought up open marriage,’ Kendra says while lying in bed with her husband. ‘You’re the one who took off with it,’ Hank retorts. Already teetering on a knife edge, relations go from bad to worse when Kendra has a car accident, and a CT scan shows she may have suffered a stroke. ‘I could die,’ Kendra tells Hank. ‘What would happen? Would you remarry?’ The marriage appears to be in crisis, with Kendra seeing a therapist to discuss how she is feeling ‘blamed’ and Hank advised by a male friend to ‘put his foot down.’ ‘I wonder about Hank sometimes,’ Kendra tells a friend before dissolving in tears. ‘I think I was lied to. It’s not working out. I’m just a failure.’ But Hank appears to be suffering his own frustrations too. ‘She blows up on me and I’m just tired of people thinking like I wanted this not to work,’ he declares. Luckily, it’s not all pain and no play for the former girlfriend of Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner. Kendra, 28, models with a menagerie of very youthful looking shirtless men, emerging in a glittery black swimsuit for a poolside shoot. She is also seen going swimming nekked at a friend’s birthday, flying over a nightclub crowd in a harness, and doing some impressive twerking on a night out. The star is even seen getting some advice from her grandmother who tells her not to drink, a recommendation Kendra unsurprisingly ignores – she is later seen knocking back shots and glasses of wine with her friends. ‘If I want to have one night of freedom, I’m going to do it. I’m a grown a** woman,’ she says. The show, which airs on September 13, is the second season of the reality show after Kendra parted ways with E! in 2011. SMH. Tell me y’all didn’t see this coming years ago when Kendra decided to go from Playboy mansion life to happy housewife only to have her athlete hubby lose his job almost immediately? Who thinks she’s already got some side-pipe-action? Continue reading

‘True Blood’ ‘s Rutina Wesley Recalls Early ‘Fame,’ On ‘When I Was 17’

Before she fought vampires, the actress got her start at a performing arts high school. By MTV News Staff Rutina Wesley Photo: MTV News Rutina Wesley is probably best known for her recent work on “True Blood,” where she plays Tara Thornton, the spirited, sass-tacular sidekick of Sookie Stackhouse. But before that, she impressed on the Broadway stage and starred in the 2007 film “How She Move,” both of which showed off her first passion: dance. Wesley grew up in Las Vegas, the daughter of a tap-dancing father and a showgirl mother, and as a teen, she attended the prestigious Las Vegas Academy, a performing arts magnet school, where prospective students must audition to be accepted. Naturally, she danced to get her spot. Once she got into the Academy, she faced a whole new series of challenges, as she reveals on the next episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17.” “The first show I did in high school was ‘Fame,’ Wesley recalled. “What I love about ‘Fame’ is it’s sort of like I was living ‘Fame.’ I was going to a performing arts high school, [and] I knew the hard work it took to be there. The auditions were brutal for that show, I remember I had to dance, sing and act, and it was really tough.” Of course, she landed a role in play, and it was then that she got her first taste of actual fame. From there on out, she knew she was born to be a performer. “The theater at my school was awesome, ” she laughed. “It was a 1,400-seat auditorium, so, being in that auditorium at 17, and having, like 1,400 people cheer for you was, like, one of the most amazing feelings that I’ve ever felt, energy-wise. It just felt right.” To hear more about Wesley’s story — and find out what OutKast’s Big Boi and actor Joey Lawrence were like when they were 17, tune in to the next episode of “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday (September 18) at 11 a.m. on MTV. Big Boi Remembers Failing His Driver’s Test, On ‘When I Was 17’

‘I was so worried about trying to parallel park,’ the Outkast MC recalls in Saturday’s episode. By MTV News staff Big Boi Photo: MTV News Anyone familiar with Big Boi’s musical output over the past two decades — whether it be as one half of Outkast or as the Son of Chico Dusty — is probably aware that the man has quite the affinity for cars. More specifically, Cadillacs. So it may come as a surprise to learn that, growing up, he had a bit of a problem passing his driver’s license exam. It wasn’t that his technique wasn’t tight, it was that he got snagged on a technicality … something he — rather embarrassingly — reveals on the next episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17,” airing Saturday at 11 a.m. ET. “When I was 17 years old, I went to go [take] my driver’s license test,” he laughed. “I was so worried about trying to parallel park. I was always trying to slide this way, slide that way. I’m so nervous about that, I get in the car, I’m driving and the man’s like, ‘Well, you did great and everything, you can parallel park, but you didn’t put on your seatbelt, so you failed.’ I was like, ‘Damn.’ ” Don’t worry, we’re sure Big passed eventually (or, at least, we hope he did). You can hear more of Big Boi’s misadventures as a 17-year-old on the next episode of “When I Was 17” on MTV. “True Blood” star Rutina Wesley and Joey Lawrence (dude, he used to be on “Blossom”!) also show up to regale you with tales from their youth. “When I Was 17” — this week featuring Big Boi, Rutina Wesley and Joey Lawrence — premieres Saturday at 11 a.m. on MTV Related Photos When I Was 17 | Big Boi Related Artists OutKast

Hobo With a Shotgun Trailer is NSFW, Anywhere Else For That Matter

The world is ending and everything is terrible, but you already knew that. What you didn’t likely know is that there is some mild comfort to be found in that very dystopia, as you’ll see in the new trailer for Rutger Hauer’s Hobo With a Shotgun . Even as you nod along with Hauer’s downer monologue to a newborn baby (“People look at you and think how wonderful your future will be. They want you to be a doctor or a lawyer. I hate to tell you this, but if you grow up here, you’re more likely to wind up selling your body on the streets.”), the punctuating sprays of blood, brains and viscera will at least assure that that baby will be endlessly entertained. And so you will you.

Do the Emmys Have a Race Problem?

Until Archie Panjabi’s surprise win this year for The Good Wife , only eight people of color had ever won an Emmy in the top four acting categories for drama and comedy. It’s a sobering statistic about the racial inequality that still persists on television, and after watching the Emmys this weekend (and being mistaken for another black actress), it has Southland’s Regina Hall ready to speak her mind.

Dollhouse

I did an entry (kinda) on Dollhouse when they were doing the “Save the Dollhouse” thing. Well the show has been renewed and so Joss Whedon has some more time to draw everyone in. Of course what would the Dollhouse be without the “Dolls”?
