Heidi Klum Saves Drowning Son, Nannies

It turns out Heidi Klum is more than just a looker. She’s also a savior. While vacationing in Oahu yesterday with her children, Klum’s seven-year old son Henry was swept away in a giant riptide along with a pair of nannies. At this sign of trouble, the new America’s Got Talent judge and boyfriend Martin Kirsten jumped in to action, diving into the water and coming through in the clutch. “We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water,” Klum said in a statement. “Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.” That’s quite impressive. Perhaps Klum will be on the wrong side of the America’s Got Talent table this summer. She ought to enter as a contestant whose skill is Being a Ridiculously Hot Hero.

Jennifer Hudson Exits Courtroom in Wake of Disturbing Photos

A day after taking the stand in the murder case against William Balfour – and breaking down when a photo of her mom was presented – Jennifer Hudson couldn’t handle being in the same room with the man accused of killing her relatives. Witnesses tell TMZ Hudson excused herself from the legal proceedings when prosecutors pulled out crime scene photos of Jennifer’s seven-year old nephew Julian, who was allegedly shot by Balfour in a fit of rage. He is also on trial for murdering Hudson’s mother and brother. David Otunga , Jennifer’s fiance and the father of her son, remained inside the courtroom after Hudson departed and, insiders say, jotted down notes about the crime scene. Our hearts and thoughts go out to Jennifer and her family.

Sarah Burge, "The Human Barbie," Gifts Daughter with Liposuction Voucher

Sarah Burge, a British woman known as “Human Barbie” because she has undergone so many plastic surgery procedures, presented her seven-year old daughter with a $10,000 voucher for liposuction as a Christmas present this year. Yes. Seven-year old daughter. Voucher. Liposuction. She defended the decision to The Daily Mail this week, saying “there’s nothing wrong” with that as a stocking stuffer because daughter Poppy asks “for surgery all the time.” That’s great and all. But she probably asks for cupcakes for dinner all the time, too. Doesn’t the entire job of a parent involve deciding what’s best for his or her young child? “She wants to look good and lipo is one of those procedures that will always come in handy,” added Burge, who was forced to repair her face multiple times many years ago after an incident of domestic violence. “I see these vouchers as investing in her future – like saving money for her education.” Burge dismisses the “stigma” around “wanting to look good” because she says girls want to grow up and be “like Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga ” and: “I’m just supporting her and making her dreams come true.” Do you agree? What do you think of presenting a seven-year old with the gift of liposuction?
