Jennifer Lopez was the first artist to have the #1 album, and #1 movie in the same week in 2001 (JLo and Wedding Planner), and this weekend she will be recognized as an Honorary Icon at the Billboard Awards. While hanging out with Sway in the Morning, JLo opened up about buying Fuse TV with Nuvo and outbidding Diddy for it. Watch below as Jenny from the Block talks about her new single, First Love, and what she things about the Jay Z and Solange incident. AKA hits shelves June 17. youtube swayinthemorning
Since I know that you perverts love seeing hotties in workout gear almost as much as I do, here’s sexy nobody Naya Rivera in some nice tight spandex. Apparently she’s on Glee or something, but I’m guessing none of you care about that unless they’re planning on doing a “very special episode” where Naya sings in the shower. She also just got engaged though, which is a shame, but I’m going to take the high road for once and just say that I hope the dude makes Naya very happy, and takes her on lots and lots of beach vacations. Welp! TI Said He Would Have Killed George Zimmerman Via Radio reports: With the country still embroiled in social and political fallout from George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the Florida slaying of Trayvon Martin , Atlanta rapper T.I. did not mince words when asked about his response to the verdict. “Man, it was some bulls**t,” said T.I. during an exclusive interview with Power 98 “Morning Maddhouse” DJ No Limit Larry. Larry caught up with the rapper backstage at the station’s Summerfest 2013 concert, which hosted Lil Wayne’s “America’s Most Wanted” tour featuring T.I. and 2 Chainz when it touched down in Charlotte, NC. “My hat goes off to the Martin family, because if it was me and my child, there wouldn’t have been no trial,” T.I. continued. “I’d have been on trial. It would’ve been the trial of the father who killed the man who killed [his child]. That would have been my story. My hat goes off because [the Martin family] are much more clear and level-headed thinkers than [myself].” We can’t even be mad at him for this. It’s hard to take the high road like Tray’s parents have. Especially when Zimmerman and his dumbazz brother keep saying things like “it was God’s plan” and “I dare you to file a civil lawsuit.” Continue reading →
I guess it makes sense that she’d be in a one-piece, with being 90 and all. I respect that unlike other 90 year old bitches who have even a worse body than Kylie the Cancer survivor, she’s in the one piece…rather than half naked in a bikini….not that I mind anyone in a bikini…I just think at a certain age, the classy thing to do is never even think about putting one on… I get it, old bitches like competing with young bitches, usually their daughters, to feel like they still got it…but there’s really no contest, and even if they are fit, they really always come in second…so deal with the awkward tan lines…take the high road…and remember your bikini days are behind you….and now all you have to look forward to is death.
On last night’s episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami , viewers were taken back in time, as the installment dealt with Rob Kardashian’s two-month-old Tweet where he accused Rita Ora of cheating on him with “nearly 20 dudes.” What inspired Rob to take such a dig at his ex? “I posted what I posted to keep myself from taking her back,” Rob said in his own defense. “Every time she messed up, I took her back for over a year now. I just had to do that to make her hate me.” Throughout the episode, Rob’s sisters tried to reign him in. Kim Kardashian , for example, told her brother: “There’s just no point [in tweeting]. You loved her for a reason. You aren’t together for a reason now. You just always have to take the high road.” Kourtney Kardashian , meanwhile, was concerned over how Rob would come across compared to his ex: “She’s the one who’s in the wrong but she’ll probably try to make it like you’re in the wrong for posting it.” Overall, Rob doesn’t sound like he has any regrets, except for this: “I don’t want people to think I’m being a bitch.”
Lindsay Lohan will soon sit down with the legendary Barbara Walters for a one-on-one interview, according to reports. Oh, the softball questions she’ll be asked. LiLo has been close to Walters for years and Barbara reached out to her about doing an interview about her new film Liz & Dick – before this current family drama. Lohan’s epic fight with mom Dina and possible Michael Lohan restraining order have dominated headlines of late, but may be off the table or close to it here. The actress fears sit-down interviews and questions she’s not prepared for, but insiders say Lindsay Lohan still trusts Barbara not to take things too far. Their interview will occur sometime in the next few weeks and focus on the parallels between the lives of Lindsay Lohan and Elizabeth Taylor . Both stars have endured the rigors of child stardom, a rough childhood, living their entire life in the public eye, dealing with addiction, and so forth. Look for the interview to coincide with Liz & Dick ‘s November 25 premiere. Lindsay Lohan Liz & Dick Behind-the-Scenes [Photo: WENN.com]
June Shannon can’t take a joke, not when it comes to her loved ones. Appearing on TMZ Live yesterday, the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch was asked about the way in which South Park mocked her family earlier this month. And she at first tried to take the high road, telling the site: “Being a big person, I didn’t take offense … that show is just not a show that I would want to be on in the first place.” South Park Clip: Parody of Honey Boo Boo But pressed about a storyline that focused on seven-year old Alana Thompson receiving a heart transplant from a pig because she ate too much junk food, Shannon replied : “It was kinda trashy.” She’s talking about South Park , just to be clear. Not Here Comes Honey Boo Boo . We understand the confusion.
Leave it to Michelle Obama to take the high road. Pun sort of intended. While appearing on The Daily Show to promote her newest book, American Grown , the First Lady was asked about President Barack Obama’s pot-smoking past. Stewart likened Obama’s youth to “the script of a Cheech and Chong movie.” Not surprisingly, the Commander-in-Chief’s better half had a classy response. “He was like many young people,” she said, adding that her husband changed his ways in college when “he realized he could do more with his life.” Stewart later tried to a comparison between President Obama and George W. Bush, whose past was also “out there,” saying “he really related to that.” “I’m not taking any bait,” Obama quickly replied, to Stewart’s amusement. The First Lady is classy and funny, ladies and gentlemen.
