Austen Heinz and Gilad Gome have developed a probiotic supplement called Sweet Peach that will allow women to alter the smell of their body odours. “The idea is personal empowerment,” said Austen. “All your smells are not human. They’re produced by the creatures that live on you.” We’re not entirely sure if ‘empowerment’ is the right word for a product insinuating women need to fix or enhance their intimate areas. However, the two male founders say their bizarre idea might have some practical benefits like preventing yeast infections and other health problems caused by microorganisms. But it’s not just the odour of women’s nether regions the pair have their sights on fixing. They also have plans to develop Petomics – a probiotic for dogs and cats that will make their poo smell like bananas. Unfortunately the fruity vagina enhancer is not yet available to buy.
