Kody Brown & Jenelle Brown: Spouses AND Siblings, Bombshell Report Alleges!

According to a stunning new report, Kody Brown has given new meaning to the series title Sister Wives. There is now an emphasis on the SISTER , Radar Online explains. Allow us to explain… Kody and Janelle Brown were “spiritually” married way back on January 20, 1993, with the latter becoming Kody’s second proverbial ball and chain after Meri. They have six kids together. But we’ve now learned that Kody’s father, William Winn Brown, was married to Janelle’s mother, Sheryl, at the time of his death in August of 2013 at age 78. You can figure out what this means, right? It means that Kody and Janelle are brother and sister AND husband and wife! To be clear, of course, they are not biologically related. They are simply step-siblings., connected through the marriage of their marriage. Still, though. This is yet another twist and turn in the saga of a show that has often garnered backlash for promoting the polygamous lifestyle. The unusual family tree was actually discussed back in a 2013 episode of the TLC program. “Before Kody and I were really courting, I was actually friends with his family,” Janelle explained on air, adding at the time: “My mom was worried I was getting sucked into some polygamous cult. But she ended up meeting Kody’s dad and they ended up falling in love and getting married before Kody and I started courting.” Imagine of Jan Brady got together with Greg Brady. That’s basically what we’re talking about here. It’s not incestuous, it’s just… weird. But that label can likely be applied to every aspect of Sister Wives by most of its fans, viewers, followers and, especially, critics. Last summer, meanwhile, Jenelle addressed rumors that she’s leaving Kody and Sister Wives behind.  In an indirect and yet pointed manner, that is. “I’ve wanted to see U2 in concert since I was 19. Finally made it 30 years later and with my love. So dang excited,” she wrote as a caption to a photo of her and Kody at a show. We’ve shared this picture below. Later, Jenelle responded to chatter about her plans to depart the series as “rubbish.” So there you have it, we guess. In related news, Sister Wives will finally return with new episodes on Sunday, January 20. Based on the trailer, it looks as though a major focus will shift from Jenelle’s status to that of Meri, who has also been rumored for well over a year now to be sick and tired of her situation within the family. Might she be on her way out?!? Check out the preview below to see for yourself: Sister Wives Trailer: Will Meri Brown Stick Around Town?

Meri Brown Cozies Up to Kody Brown Despite Crumbling Marriage

After that tense promo for Season 8 of Sister Wives , fans are questioning if Meri Brown will even stick around. In real time, however, she just celebrated her birthday. And Kody was right there to celebrate it with her. Take a look: Meri Brown shared this cheerful photo of her with her husband, Kody. In the captions of the Instagram picture, she provided the happy context. “So Kody and I went out for my birthday the other night,” Meri begins. “And,” she shares, the two of them “found this hidden gem in Flagstaff.” “I mean, maybe it was hidden,” she admits. Meri then presents an alternative: “maybe we’re just new to town lol!” As you may recall, the Sister Wives officially moved to Arizona in September of 2018. So, what was this possible hole-in-the-wall that Meri and Kody discovered? “#BlackBartsSteakhouse and Musical Revue was so fun,” Meri raves. “And,” she continues. “We got to experience the musical talents of students from #NAU.” Live music hit or miss, so we’re glad that they enjoyed it. “Definitely a win!!” Meri concluded. Meri also included some curious hashtags after her caption. “#LivingMyWhy,” Meri writes. “#BecauseICan.” “#LoveWhatIDo,” Meri added. “#LifeFulfilled.” It’s always nice to see people enjoying their lives — especially on their birthday. Some Sister Wives fans may find her post reassuring after that uncomfortable promo. During the Season 8 promo, Meri was crushed when Kody refused to give her a down payment for the bed and breakfast that she wants to open. She and Kody were in conflict after that, and Meri seemed — once again — like she wanted to make a change. “Part of me wants to just stand up and say, okay fine, I don’t need you guys,” Meri said. Some interpreted that as Meri saying that she had one foot out the door already. Others believed that she was simply resolving to open the bed and breakfast on her own. There was more, however, as Meri spoke to her sister-wife, Christine Brown. “You don’t feel comfortable around me,” Meri accused. Christine was then shown speaking into the confessional. “The sister wives relationship is super tricky,” Christine admitted. Christine explained that this is “because you’re trying to be best friends with the woman who has a relationship with your husband.” That makes sense. Some polyamorous relationships feature everyone involved in a relationship with everyone else. That is not the case for Mormon polygamy. They are each married to Kody and Kody to them. Jealousy and favoritism have been major thematic issues for the Sister Wives . Part of that tension remains rooted in Meri’s six-month online relationship — one that turned out to be the result of Catfishing. “I didn’t know how to get out of the situation without putting myself, family, and friends at greater risk,” Meri admitted. “It was a very difficult time,” she confessed. “I had a lot of anxiety.” “My family was very concerned for our safety,” she continued. “And angry that we had been targeted.” Some fans have been rooting for Meri to get away from Kody, whom many consider to be a creep. Sister Wives is an entertaining show, but it might not be the picture-perfect example of a healthy multiple marriage that Kody wishes it were. Sister Wives Season 8 Promo: Will Meri Stick Around?

We can all breathe a sigh of relief now, reality TV viewers. Sister Wives will be returning early next year to TLC. There had been some doubts about whether the series would air another season, considering some of the internal strife that continues to exist between Kody and his wives. But the cable network just dropped a trailer for Season 8 and confirmed that it will premiere on Sunday, January 20 at 8/7c. As for what viewers can expect from upcoming installments? It looks like Meri Brown will keep struggling with her place in this unusual family, as has been the case for nearly as long as we can remember. Earlier this fall, we documented the various ways in which Meri has fallen out of favor in her unique marriage. Early on in this preview, we see Meri ask Kody for money for a down payment on a bed and breakfast she wants to open… only to be rebuffed for her efforts. This leads to an awkward sit-down with another Sister Wife. The family also moves back to Utah from Las Vegas, which makes Kody very happy — yet doesn't sit well with Janelle and a few others.  Do you think Kody cares about their feelings at all, though? Come on. Of course not. “Eventually, I'm going to lead to places they might not want to go,” he says in a confessional. “But I am going to lead.” At one point, Gabriel actually steps up and says he's “fuming inside” over the move, labeling it as “awful” because he's in the middle of his junior year in high school. Changes are clearly ahead for this group, and it's unclear whether they will end up in a better place when all is said, argued about and done. “I just feel like they’re running away from something, and I don’t know what they’re running away from,” daughter Aspyn admits in the sneak peek The trailer concludes with a shot of the Brown family standing in a circle in an empty room, saying a prayer. While they appear to be united, there are clearly a few tear-stained cheeks in the group, implying that Kody''s leadership could be taking everyone someplace that could fracture the clan in the long run. GULP . Check out this teaser to see what we mean.

Janelle Brown Shares Kody Brown Date Photo: We’re Still in Love!

Even though Sister Wives star Kody Brown recently celebrated his anniversary with Meri, rumors swirled that Meri has found a new man . But things still seem to be pretty solid for Kody and Janelle. In fact, the two went on a romantic concert date … and Janelle shared the photos so that everyone could share in the experience. Janelle seems very happy in her marriage. We only wish that this were the case for a certain troubled sister wife of hers. Poor Meri Brown. She’s had a rough go of things. Worst of all was her catfishing scandal which was also a cheating scandal, of sorts. She has seemed so unhappy for a long time. But just a few weeks ago, she and Kody went out and about together to celebrate their anniversary. She’s not Kody’s only wife, of course. Janelle has avoided scandals. She is known for having never legally married Kody (under current laws, he can only legally be married to one wife at a time). She is also known for her dramatic weight loss , and she has gone on to share tips with fans and viewers. It appears that Kody and Janelle treated themselves to a concert. Janelle shared a selfie from the audience and a glimpse of the performance, captioning the photos: “I’ve wanted to see U2 in concert since I was 19.” So this has been a long time coming. “Finally made it 30 years later and with my love.” You could feel how thrilled she was. “So dang excited.” Janelle and Kody are both 49, so it stands to reason that they grew up with relatively similar music tastes — though plenty of people pick up on theri partner’s music. The two saw the U2 show in Las Vegas and Janelle was happy to share a glimpse of that fun with her fans and followers. Fans have noted that Janelle continues to seem happy with her polygamous marriage to Kody. She was, like her sister wives, impacted by Meri’s catfishing scandal. They all were. She noted to Meri that nothing in their marriage happens in a vacuum. It was enough to make Meri wonder if she needed to leave Kody for everyone’s sake . It’s great for Janelle that she enjoys her marriage to Kody — even if it isn’t legally recognized. But some in polyamorous relationships object to Sister Wives because they consider it a negative portrayal. Though Kody wanted to do the series in order to push for acceptance and legalization of polygamy, he may be undercutting his efforts by, well, being himself. His reaction to Meri’s catfishing scandal — admitting that he didn’t even want to have sex with Meri anymore — did not exactly win many people over. Would anyone really blame her if she decided to move on with a new man? A lot of people, including Sister Wives fans, find Kody to be creepy and single-minded and egocentric and generally off-putting. Many viewers enjoy the show, but they watch for the wives — Robyn, Christine, Janelle, and Meri — and for the children. Janelle may be happy with Kody, but some wonder if it’s only a matter of time before Meri leaves him to live a happier life. And that’s assuming that she isn’t in the process of doing that already. Janelle, however, looks like she’s still happy right where she is. View Slideshow: Sister Wives: Are Kody and Meri Brown Actually in Love Again?!

Kody Brown: I Don’t Want to Have Sex with Meri Anymore!

Let's be honest: the Sister Wives crew has been kind of a mess for a long, long time now. And we're not even talking their usual polygamy drama mess — for a good few years now, Meri has had and has introduced some serious problems in the Brown family. Even though Meri's been friendly with Kody's fourth wife, Robyn, it does seem like she's dealt with some jealousy issues, and those only got worse when Kody legally divorced her to marry Robyn. The divorce made sense — the family did it that way so that Kody could have rights over the three children Robyn had with her ex-husband — but Meri still took it very personally. Around the same time as the divorce, Meri began talking to a man online, and they quickly became very close. One could even say she had an emotional affair with him, and she may have gone even further if the man hadn't turned out to be a catfish . Yep, the man she'd been falling for was actually a woman, and the whole thing really and truly broke her. That's all happened a few years ago at this point, but as we've been seeing on the current season of Sister Wives, it's still causing plenty of issues in the family. One of those issues is that Kody is pretty much over Meri entirely. In this sneak peek for their upcoming tell-all episode, the Sister Wives crew sit down to go over some issues they've had, and one particular comment Kody made is brought up. Andrea Canning, the woman interviewing the family, asks about the scene in which he tells a reporter that Meri says she's his wife, but they don't “co-habitate.” Kody and his man-bun explain that they made that comment because they were feeling “a little snarky — not towards Meri, but towards this law.” Feelings about laws aside, Meri says that she was “mixed” by his statement because “part of me was like 'wait, we don't need to share every little bit of information about our lives,' but at the same time, it's time to start being real and honest.” Robyn, dear sweet Robyn, cuts in with “Kody sometimes says stuff he shouldn't say.” Truer words, right? Andrea says that it was difficult to hear Kody and Meri talk about feeling like a divorced couple , but Meri laughs and says “Well technically, we are!” And she's right, of course, but the bitterness in her voice is a bit extreme. Andrea soldiers on and adds that Kody also said he didn't want to be intimate with Meri, and he admits that he still feels that way, even today. Meri asks if she feels the same way or if she does want to be intimate, and she replies that she simply wants “more of a relationship with him than we're having right now.” Kody begins to say that they don't know how to fix things, but Meri cuts him off pointedly by saying that the solution is to have “two parties wanting to work toward it.” So … yikes. At this point, it's really hard to understand why they're even still together. Meri has obviously been unhappy for a very long time , enough to start talking to who she thought was another man, and now that Kody is understandably upset about that, she's desperate to make things work. It doesn't make sense, it's silly for both of them to waste their time like this — even in the very first season, they were having problems. If Kody doesn't even want to be intimate with her anymore … it really sounds like this Sister Wives ship has already sailed. Fly free, Meri.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk: We’re Engaged!

Gwyneth Paltrow's latest issue of Goop has something new — and no, it's not yet another suggestion that readers stuff rocks up their vaginas for better sex . Well, that might be in there too, for all we know. But the big story, as you'll see in the video below, is … Gwyneth Patlrow and Brad Falchuk confirm are confirming their engagement! Back in November, we told you that Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are engaged . Gwyneth Paltrow is, of course, a legendary actress who's also more than dabbled in … what's a nice word for quackery ? Let's go with “self-help” and “wellness,” through her Goop magazine. Brad Falchuk is an unnecessarily handsome writer who's been a fellow creative and even co-creator on a number of Ryan Murphy projects, from Glee to Scream Queens to American Horror Story . Their cozy romance has warmed even our cold hearts a time or two, including when Gwyneth and Brad showed off an actually good Halloween costume . Couples costumes can say a lot about the couple themselves. When we reported that the couple was engaged, that was a little over a month ago and it was based upon, well, other reports. They hadn't made an official announcement. Now, though, Gwyneth and Brad have come forward with an official announcement: they're engaged. They made their announcement in the newest issue of Goop, because of course they did. Good Morning America reported the couple's statement. “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives, when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship.” That statement is almost normal for Gwyneth. Compared to her “conscious uncoupling” from ex, Chris Martin, it sounds like what a non-bonkers person would say in their announcement. (Though we wonder if there's some sort of special, weird, New Age significance to “juncture in our lives” and “building blocks” but … let's try to give them the benefit of the doubt) As a public figure, Gwyneth is often disliked by people who are tired of her Goop . (She thinks people only dislike her because she's a woman , but misogyny is, for once, not the primary source of ire) But she must be very likable in person, because Brad Falchuk's clearly fallen for her. (No, we don't just think that he's there for the great, Goop -approved anal sex ) Gwyneth and Brad reportedly discussed the possibility of engagement for at least a year before they decided to actually take that step. It's so good that they decided to wait. A lot of people fall in love and think that it's forever, and rush into a doomed marriage. But Gwyneth and Brad have both been in very lengthy relationships — and even marriages — before. This isn't their first rodeo, so they considered things carefully. And, as Good Morning America reveals, deciding that they should consciously couple was about one thing in particular. .. Where to go out to dinner? Well, more accurately, about what sort of things they can see themselves arguing about when they're 90. Which they imagine will still be about where to go out for dinner. We hope that things go well for them. Sometimes, what's a playful argument during your first few years of a relationship can grow old and bitter when you're decades older.

Meri Brown: 19 Shocking Facts About the Sister Wives Star!

Meri Brown has been a key cast member on Sister Wives ever since the premiere of this controversial reality show. But just because she's been in the spotlight for a number of years, that doesn't mean she's a known commodity. Far from it, in fact. Scroll down for a list of Meri Brown facts and figures that may come as a shock, even to those who watch Sister Wives online (or on television) each and every week… 1. She Was HOW Old When She Married Kody Brown? Only 19, way back in 1990. Meri was studying to be a psychologist at one point, but gave it up once the reality show became a hit after its 2010 premiere. 2. For How Long Did She Know Kody Before They Got Married? Just four months. They got engaged after just two months. 3. She Has HOW Many Siblings?!? Six in total: four sisters (Teresa Barber, Rebekah Barber, Elaine Barber, Deborah Barber) and two brothers (Adam Barber and Marc William Barber). 4. Meri and Kody Struggled with Infertility for Years They tried to have kids from the very beginning, but it took them nearly a half decade. Finally, Meri and Kody welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mariah Brown, on July 29,1995. 5. When Did Meri and Kody Get Divorced? In 2014, after almost 25 years of marriage. But she has remained on the show and by Kody’s side ever since. 6. Wait… What? Why and How? She only agreed to the divorce so that Kody could adopt Robyn’s three children from another marriage, which is something which Meri hinted at during an episode of Sister Wives, saying: “If ever I’m having an emotional moment about what I’ve lost, I just think, it’s not about me, it’s about the kids.” View Slideshow

Meri Brown: 19 Shocking Facts About the Sister Wives Star!

Sister Wives: A New Season (And New Drama) Coming Soon!

It’s been a very, very, very long time since we’ve been blessed with a new episode of Sister Wives. How have we even survived without seeing the Brown family and all their wild and crazy polygamy drama? It’s a mystery for the ages. Believe it or not, the last new episode of Sister Wives aired all the way back in January. Yep, it’s almost been a whole entire year since we saw anything new from these people. We’ve barely heard anything about them, either — sure, there have been plenty of rumors, and of course the big things like Maddie’s new baby and Mariah’s new girlfriend are going to go public. But besides those few stories and the odd report that Meri, Janelle, Christina, and/or Robyn have finally come to their senses and plan on leaving Kody … Well, it’s been a dark year for Mormon gossip, we’ll say that. Thankfully though, 2018 is really looking up! After months and months of cancelation rumors — and no real word one way or the other from the Browns — TLC went and dropped a trailer for the new season yesterday! The premiere will be on January 7th — less than a month away! The trailer opens with footage of Mykelti’s wedding , which happened nearly a year ago to the day. We see Kody walking her down the aisle, and it really does look like a beautiful ceremony. Next, we see Mariah work up the courage to introduce her girlfriend to her parents! “Yep, Mariah has a girlfriend,” Christine acknowledges in an interview — and she doesn’t really seem too happy about it. Which is kind of hard to understand, because in the brief bit of footage we see of Mariah with her girlfriend, they look pretty happy and adorable together. Next, Maddie gathers the whole family — or most of them, anyway, it’s kind of hard to do a quick headcount when five spouses share 18 kids — to tell them she’s pregnant! She unzips her hoodie to reveal a little “Baby on Board” sign she slapped on her stomach, and everyone is very excited. All of that is great and wonderful and lovely for sure, but where’s the drama? Where’s that good ol’ Sister Wives strife that makes the show worth watching? Don’t worry, Meri is about to bring it! In the next little section of the trailer, Meri tells Robyn that she plans on opening a bed and breakfast back in Utah (remember, the family moved to Las Vegas a few years ago). She seems really excited about it, but later we see Christine tell her “You’ve been struggling to find your place in the family. Do you think that having something like this … it’s not going to make you more connected, and you haven’t really been connected.” She sure hasn’t, and for good reason. All the way back in 2015, she and Kody, the only ones who were legally married, divorced so that he could legally marry Robyn. That was the only way he could adopt her three children from her previous marriage. They made it clear that it wasn’t a traditional divorce — they’d still be spiritually married, it’s just that Robyn needed that legal marriage more than Meri did. But you could still tell that it hurt her feelings. Even before that though, she seemed to be pulling away from Kody and the rest of the family. Part of the issue was likely the fact that she was only ever able to have one child, Mariah, and she’s all grown up and out of the house now. So while the other wives had their houses full of children and Kody’s attention on their little ones, Meri lived all alone except for the couple of days a week she was able to spend with her husband. It’s no wonder she ended up getting catfished . It’s been over two years now since Meri admitted that she’d been in an emotional relationship with someone online, and that that person turned out to be a woman who’d been lying to her. And, as we’re seeing now, that relationship is still causing issues for Meri, and also for her relationship with Kody. Elsewhere in the trailer that keeps on giving, Kody reveals that “Meri’s ready to go back into a deep and intimate relationship, and I’m not.” “I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Meri says later. “And I feel like I’m just kind of walking in the dark.” It’s all very sad, but in a sweet moment, her sister wives pull her aside to tell her that “No matter what is happening with you and Kody, we still love you.” And then finally we see Maddie giving birth in a bathtub at one of the Brown family homes. It’s … it sure is something. Can you even wait to see this family back on TV?!

Sister Wives: A New Season (And New Drama) Coming Soon!

Kody Brown Might Lose All FOUR Sister Wives!

Nobody outside of Sister Wives seems to actually like Kody Brown. He’s obnoxious and hella rude, and it sounds like, lately, his behaviors been getting worse and worse. To the point where he may lose everything. We don’t know if he’s spiraling in a quest for ratings or if he’s  authentically  preparing to crash and burn, but frankly it doesn’t really matter — he doesn’t deserve his wives. They don’t deserve to have to put up with him. And according to a new report, all four of them have started to realize that, too. So, as we already talked about, Kody Brown is rude and maybe even verbally abusive to his four wives. That, by itself, is more than enough reason to drop him in the garbage where he belongs and move on with your lives. And there’s the boundless tensions brought up when he added his fourth wife, Robyn, to the fold. But it’s also sounding like Kody might be looking for more young women to marry. At this point, he’s seeming less like a man committed to polygamy and more like a man who’s less interested in his committed partners and more interested in chasing new, young women. That doesn’t sound like a “polygamist role model.” (Not that he’s ever lived up to that aspiration) That sounds more like … that hot mugshot guy’s recent antics . And the results aren’t pretty. Specifically, it looks like Kody Brown’s wives want to leave him . But that same report mentions that Kody might be wanting to leave them anyway and build himself a new family. Now, we’ve heard stories about Kody Brown’s wives leaving him before. So we always try to take these things with a grain of salt. It was only a few months ago that Robyn seemed adamant that she wasn’t leaving Kody . But is it possible that she was just putting on a brave face? And while the idea of him wanting to set aside his current wives and build a new family from scratch sounds far-fetched. Like … Kody Brown’s behavior has always been out there. And it’s been getting worse, lately. If he’s having some sort of midlife crisis or whatever, who knows what he’s planning? A lot of reality shows are a mixed bag. Sister Wives is not. It’s bad. See, polyamory — non-monogamous relationships involving more than just two people — can be wonderful. Many thruples and triads and other groups of partners find that it makes their lives wonderful. And while the term polygamy implies that it’s just one many marrying multiple women and that’s the extent of everyone’s relationships, that can still work and be a good thing, too. The whole reason that Kody and his wives wanted to do Sister Wives in the first place is because they wanted to increase acceptance of polygamy . That’s a very noble goal. It might make taxes and inheritance and insurance and a few other things a little complicated, but is that really a deciding factor? We can’t really think of a legal justification for preventing a group of committed adults from making their relationship as official as everyone else’s. And Sister Wives was supposed to help normalize this in the minds of middle America. Unfortunately, because this relationship has Kody at the center, they may have set back the fight for polygamy by a few decades. And, by extension, the push for wider acceptance of polyamory. So … thanks, Kody. As always, we won’t take any stories at face value until they’re substantiated. It’s especially easy to believe stories that the wives are planning on leaving Kody, because every viewer wants them to run off. Confirmation bias is the psychological phenomenon that describes why we want to automatically believe things that fit our worldview. And nobody’s worldview finds Kody Brown to be an ideal mate. No matter what this story says, we more than suspect that Kody Brown’s wives know that. But that doesn’t mean that they’ll actually take the steps necessary to leave him.

Kylie Jenner: Look at My Boobs, Not My New Lips!

It looks like Kylie Jenner’s back at it again. Not just with social media pics — well, that too — but it looks like she may have gotten a little work done. A little more work done, anyway. We know that we’re supposed to be looking at her boobs here, emphasized as much by that white top as by her seatbelt. But our eyes keep darting to those lips. They don’t just look plump, they look painfully full. Kylie’s admitted to overfilling her lips in the past, but we guess that she hasn’t learned from past mistakes. Though … really, if she learned from past mistakes, we all would have forgotten who Tyga was in, like, 2015. If only . These lips don’t just look big, they look painful. Anyone who’s ever microwaved some chicken apple sausage — because who has time to cook with an oven? — can easily imagine those lips bursting open under pressure. We keep touching our lips and wincing at that pic, you know? It’s one thing to inflate your lips too much for taste. But it’s another thing to make them look so big that it’s hard to close your mouth.. Regular, non-painful big lips look good. You don’t have to follow fashion magazines or even put that much thought into the faces that you find attractive to do that. Just, like, go to the character creation screen of any video game — the better looking faces are gonna have the lip size sliders pretty far to the right. As far as fashion is concerned, yeah, you have to grudgingly admit that Kylie’s been a part of people worrying so much about having big lips. Just like the Kardashians as a whole have been influential in the conversation about butt sizes. But isn’t to say that they deserve credit. See, the Kardashians seem to be all about cultural appropriation. From putting their hair in dreads or cornrows to trying to claim ownership over bodily features associated with black women, the Kardashians are what you’d call problematic . And while Kendall Jenner, when she’s not starring in tone-deaf Pepsi controversies , usually just does her modeling thing instead of raiding African-American culture and claiming the spoils as her own, Kylie is a major offender. We might not be saying this if we thought that her curves were 100% grass-fed free-range organic, because your body shape is your body shape. But … come on, guys. Kylie’s figure is such an hourglass that you expect a movie villain to dramatically turn her upside down to begin a countdown. The lips are such a big thing, because when the good folks at Black Twitter blow off some steam, it’s not uncommon to hear them look at white celebrities who are being praised for their looks and wonder where that star’s lips are. Which is, you know, a harmless critique, and Kylie “fixing” her own lips might not be a big deal if she didn’t then use them to market her own lip products. As if big lips are a Kylie thing. It’s kind of like how the white cheerleaders in the movie Bring It On always stole the routines of the black cheerleaders. And the thing is that, despite the probably millions of words written on the subject of Kylie’s very specific antics, she’s probably not even aware of it. Celebrities exist in a bubble, folks. To Kylie, any well-conceived criticism on social media probably gets drowned out by random vitriol until it all just looks like “haters.” View Slideshow: 19 Reasons to Believe Kylie Jenner Got a Boob Job
