Did Tripp Palin Drop a Gay Slur?

No one watches Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp on Lifetime . So the attention-starved daughter of a failed Vice Presidential Candidate and less-than-one-term Governor was probably hoping the following clip would not create any kind of stir. But on last night’s episode, three-year old Tripp was being disciplined by his mother and his aunt and responded to their attempts by lashing out… with a gay slur. Watch now and try to decide which is the most appalling: Tripp actually knowing the word; Bristol laughing over his use of it; or Bristol’s earlier comment about “God watching,” for which she also could not keep a straight face:

Rumble In The Lumberyard: FSC Wins This Round

For the last four years, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has been fighting off the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and other certification programs in their attempts to have their programs recognized by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and get that single LEED point for sustainably harvested lumber. The proposed changes that would have opened up the certification were put to a vote and the results are in: The status quo remains.
