Source: Andy Kropa / Getty Jay-Z & NFL Get Slammed For Donating To An Organization That Allegedly Supports Trump, Cuts Dreadlocks & Loves The Cops *Sigh* Jiggaaaa, my nicckkaaa. Jay-Z and Roc Nation continue to find themselves in a deeper hole when it comes to their politics. Recently, the group announced that they would be partnering with the NFL as part of their Inspire Change initiative to donate $400,000 to two Chicago charities — the Better Boys Foundation Family Services organization and the Crushers Club. Well, surprise, surprise… Folks did some digging into one of the organizations, and it seems they don’t fully ride for Black people despite their surface-level charities. Twitter user @RzstProgramming brought up AAALL the receipts. They dug up old tweets and social media posts from Crushers Club and it was revealed that… 1. They have a history of gleefully cutting off Black boys’ dreadlocks. 2. They support Donald Trump helping Chicago with gun violence. 3. They believe “All Lives Matter.” 4. They practically fawn over the Chicago Police Department. *Sigh.* It seems most of the smoke is aimed at Crushers Club president Sally Hazelgrove who, according to now deleted tweets, said things like: “And another Crusher let me cut his dreads off! It’s symbolic of change and their desire for a better life!” “And another Crusher let me cut his dreads off! It's symbolic of change and their desire for a better life!” – Crusher Club President Sally Hazelgrove https://t.co/BgaYA2Ef6R — Resist Programming (@RzstProgramming) September 5, 2019 Ms. Sally also reportedly praised a kid’s Jr. Chicago Police Department status: “Our Jr CPD they cant wait to arrest someone! Especially hearing they can start making 70k as a cop!” The Crusher Club also encourages youth to grow up and incarcerate others to earn a living. “Our Jr CPD they cant wait to arrest someone! Especially hearing they can start making 70k as a cop!” https://t.co/clpwx8aDrA — Resist Programming (@RzstProgramming) September 5, 2019 The org ALSO reportedly said: “We need Trump to help us. Sad to say we need a curfew while we address our current crisis of gun violence.” Crusher Club said Trump is the answer for Chicago’s gang violence and called for a city curfew. “We need Trump to help us. Sad to say we need a curfew while we address our current crisis of gun violence.” https://t.co/wtWhiCKyIZ — Resist Programming (@RzstProgramming) September 5, 2019 Lawd, help us. At one point, when someone tried to point out on Facebook that Sally’s locs-cutting rituals were problematic, she responded with “I don’t see race.” Back to the hair cutting, on Facebook, Stephen Styles attempted to explain to Crusher Club President Sally Hardgrove how problematic the practice is. Sally responded, “I don’t see race” and says she will be more careful with comments, but doesn’t agree to stop cutting dreads. pic.twitter.com/NIgY0vET5W — Resist Programming (@RzstProgramming) September 5, 2019 Come on Jigga!! Sally tried to defend her hair-cutting proclivities in a statement to FADER , saying: “The Crusher’s Club does not have any policies prohibiting dreadlocks — we welcome all hairstyles from our youth. On occasion, our kids look to change their hairstyles and ask us to assist, especially since haircuts can be a costly expense for them. Our goal is — and will always be — to equip our youth with the resources to improve their neighborhoods, maximize their potential and develop into the leaders of tomorrow.” Okay Sally. AND they probably give the children some janky shape-ups! Anyway, hit the flip for more of Crushers Club’s alleged cop-loving, dreads-chopping, “All Lives Matter” history.
Source: Roy Rochlin / Getty Trans Woman Alleges Malik Yoba Solicited Sex When She was 13 And 16 New York Under Cover actor Malik Yoba has denied hefty allegations he’s a child predator with a now-deleted freestyle. A trans woman named Mariah Lopez Ebony made the allegation in a Facebook post that Yoba had solicited sex from her when she was merely 13 and 16 years-old. Allegations surfaced from Ebony after Yoba revealed he was “trans attracted” and was applauded for his honesty. “For all who applaud and solute [sic] Malik Yoba for revealing he is so called ‘Trans Attracted,’ understand that either because of deeper issues he has or, because of ‘society’ pushing him and others to deep, dark places, his admission to being sexually attracted to trans women, is bound to open a Pandora’s box for him; not because the women are Trans, but because many of the trans women he engaged in sexual exploration and exploitation with on 14th Street, Times Square and elsewhere, were minors, including myself. And I don’t give a F-CK who doesn’t believe me or feels I’m trying to ride a wave! There is a trend of men of color being embraced by the Queer community, for liking Trans women, despite overwhelming evidence of character flaws……glaring signs that sex addiction, substance abuse; unchecked mental health issues and inner demons are what drive men to the bungee jumping of sex; F*CKIN or SUCKIN a Trans person. That’s not love. Period. What Malik paid me to do, as a 13 and 16 year old, wasn’t love . His ignoring that I was clearly a child prostitute, wasn’t love. Paying for cheap thrills and secret orgasms; begging for unsafe, unprotected sex from a runaway Trans teen, while enjoying stardom as a successful artist and business man ….isn’t love.” In response, Yoba released a freestyle denying Ebony’s claims. It’s been deleted, but there are the lyrics he rapped, according to Page Six . “How quickly people love to spread news/With no proof of child abuse/You confuse, I see you/You choose to try to make me lose/But I can’t/If you try to stand in my shoes/You would lose.” And, “You can’t win when you live in sin … At the beginning, I told you there was the word/And the word said we would love/And we would love each other/No matter what, you my sister, my brother/Whether you be a trans man or a trans woman.” He revealed, “Yes, this is a freestyle.” Yoba’s denial of soliciting a child sex worker didn’t stop there. He also denied it in a clip with Claudia Jordan. Swipe to hear it. Source: John Moore / Getty Phoenix Police Investigated For Rape Threats, Brutality, And Stealing Money A police officer in Phoenix is under serious investigation for a series of infractions including, but not limited to beating civilians, threatening witnesses, wrongfully seizing money in a drug bust , and abusing a female co-worker whom he allegedly called a “c*m dumpster” and said he wanted to rape. According to PhoenixNewTimes , four lawsuits were filed in federal court against officer Sergeant Daniel Beau Jones and all four were settled. Pretty heinous charges for a settlement… “Phoenix Police Sergeant Daniel B. Jones is the subject of a criminal and internal investigation. No arrest has been made,” Phoenix police spokesperson Sergeant Vince Lewis said on August 24. “He has been placed on administrative leave pending the resolution of the investigations.” In regards to the sexual harassment, peep what a female officer accused Jones of in her lawsuit: According to the officer, her time with the 41G squad in South Mountain Precinct was marked by rampant sexual harassment, bullying, and hostile behavior. “Daniel Jones often specifically referred to [the officer] as a dumb c*nt, dumb b*tch, useless 101 [police code used to refer to females], carpet muncher, and c*m dumpster,” the lawsuit states. When the officer told Jones not to call her those names, she alleges that Jones intimidated her “by telling her that any snitch should or could get a bullet to the head” and that “snitches should be taken care of just like they are on the street. Oh, but there’s MUCH more… Besides the name-calling, she said Jones would also purposefully and forcefully run into her with his shoulder when they passed each other in the hallway. He interfered with her work, making noise and kicking her chair while she was on the phone. He called her a “dumb bitch” in front of her supervisors. Sometimes, he called her “it” or said she was a man. Occasionally, Jones looked at the officer “in a threatening manner, and shook his head and unsnapped his gun holster,” the lawsuit states. Then one day, Jones sent her a message asking her to meet him in South Mountain Precinct’s back parking lot. According to the lawsuit, which was settled, Jones told her, “he had fantasized about raping her and choking her around the neck and stated, ‘I want to fuck you so hard your librarian glasses fall off.’” Then there’s the charge of beating up civilians: “At least one of these witnesses pled with officers to stop beating the now-unconscious” Vasquez. Instead of stopping, Kincannon “drew his weapon, pointed it at the civilian witnesses and said, ‘Trudy, get the fuck in the house,’” the lawsuit states. Then, police arrested one of the witnesses and took him to a nearby cemetery, where they “told him he better keep his mouth shut or he would end up buried in the cemetery,” according to the lawsuit. Yeah, so, f**k 12.
Source: Coachella 2015 – Week 1 – Day 1 – Performances Featuring: Azealia Banks Where: Los Angeles, California, United States When: 10 Apr 2015 Credit: WENNCHELLA/WENN.com Lizzo has officially made it. No we are not talking about the MTV Music Awards. She is now the target of one of music’s most spiteful detractors. As spotted on Complex Azealia Banks has decided to throw her two cents on pop’s newest sweetheart. The Harlem native left a series of scathing comments aimed at Lizzo suggesting the singer is doing the jig for the man. “Lmao the fact that the public and the media has been keeping this fat girl joke going for so long is honestly peak boredom” she wrote. But wait the hate doesn’t stop there. Banks, who hasn’t had a song buzzing since 2011 with “212”, also criticized Liz’s chart topping hit “Truth Hurts” and her swag. “The song is not good, nor is the dumpy fat girl spectacle live set she does. Saddest bit is that the girl is legit talented and truly only being allowed to shine so long as she allows herself to be this millennial mammy of sorts.” She proceeded to also throw other artists under the bus and if we are reading this right puts herself in the same light as Beyoncé. “Like illiterate Cardi then fat Lizzo. They are really choosing the worst of the black womens crop to advertise America with,” she wrote. “I guess they saw us moving too fast with it because if you realize, after Beyoncé became political in ways they didn’t like the elite stopped giving her that top top spot and started cycling out these lessers like Cardi and Lizzo (even Lil Nas X trash ass buckbreak mountain anthem) giving them Beyoncé level accolades while both being no where near the level of black female excellence she is.” You can read her rant in full below. There’s also a shot of what appear to be gift bags in the background – maybe Huger is giving some product away as presents? Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Buku Abi , daughter to Robert and Andrea Kelly, is following in her parents creative and artistic footsteps by embarking on a singing career of her own, with a new EP out called Don’t Call Me . For those who don’t know, Andrea Kelly is a very skilled dancer. It’s how she met R. Kelly before the two ultimately married and had three children. I don’t have to tell you that Buku’s father, singer R. Kelly is in the midst of yet another legal battle. He’s currently imprisoned on charges of child pornography, including videos of himself having sex with underage girls. SEE ALSO: R. Kelly Didn’t Want Cellmate, Court Docs Say But in the midst of her father’s struggles, Buku is attempting to establish herself in an industry she had once avoided. She spoke to the Associated Press about her journey. Abi, who was born JoAnn Kelly, claimed that she had seen the hellish part of the game and wanted no parts. But she couldn’t leave music alone. In the midst of everything she’s gone through, music has been a solace. And when your father’s R. Kelly, things can get rough. Abi explained when her father’s “sins” started seeping into her own life. “At home it’s normal, you’re living a life with your parents; your dad and mom aren’t going to go into all the bad things that might be going on outside of home,” she said, “but kids in school don’t necessarily care. Fifth and sixth grade is when I started learning the sore part of it, the not so good part. I think that was the hardest part for me because for so long I went with this image of who my dad (was) and what my family (was).” When her classmates started telling her stories about her own father, Abi said there were times when she considered suicide. Then she sang on stage during a high school performance and said the feeling of singing in front of people “literally felt like drugs.” Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news. Ever since then, I’ve been in it and it’s literally saved my life.” Naturally, attempting a music career, with her father’s reputation hasn’t been easy. “I definitely run across challenges — people wanting to work with me to spite him or people not wanting to work with me just because of who he is. I’ve definitely come across turmoil … being judged for really no reason at all, just based off associations. I’ve been pushing through it. Me making the art, it saved my life so there’s nothing really that would be able to stop me.” Abi released her debut project this past March with the help of her sister Jaah Kelly, who produced the album. He has made mistakes in his life and other things that he’s dealing with, but when it comes to that, I can’t take that away from him. That’s the one thing that will always keep us connected.” Abi believed that she could rekindle the relationship with her father. The two collaborated on a song called “Wanna Be There.” It appeared on Kelly’s 2015 album The Buffet. “At that time I was in a place where I was genuinely trying to have a relationship with my father. But it was so complicated at that time, as it always is. It was a great experience, I’m glad that I did it, but it just wasn’t like what everybody assumed, and that’s the part that sucks. It wasn’t this big kumbaya moment.” If it didn’t happen then, the likelihood of it happening now with R. Kelly being in jail as he awaits his trial in April is unlikely. As he awaits his fate, Abi is protecting her spirit. SEE ALSO: R.
