Katt Williams wants to make one thing clear: he is not sorry. The comedian got into it with a fan at a gig in Phoenix last week, telling the man “this ain’t Mexico. It used to be Mexico [expletive] and now it’s Phoenix… Do you remember when white people used to say ‘Go back to Africa,’ and we’d have to tell them we don’t want to? So if you love Mexico, [expletive], get the [expletive] over there!” It appeared as if Williams was contrite for this outburst soon after it was made public, but he tells CNN an apology was penned by his publicist and was simply “for the Tracy Morgans of the world,” referring to that actor’s response to his own stand-up scandal in June. “I don’t think I need to apologize for being pro-American,” Williams says. Williams is no stranger to controversy. He brawled at a Young Jeezy concert last week and was given the boot; and he was arrested in June for threatening a potential witness after an odd stand-off with a tractor driver. Seriously .

There’s no defending Tracy Morgan’s recent homophobic rant , in which he referred to gays who commit suicide as “pussies” and said he’d stab his son if he were to come out of the closet. Tina Fey, who works with Morgan on 30 Rock and has known him for years, isn’t trying to. She said the “violent imagery” of the diatribe was “disturbing” to her and Morgan clearly “went too far.” But the actress also stood up for her co-star in general, telling TMZ yesterday that Morgan isn’t a bad person. Morgan’s hate-filled speech “doesn’t line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person,” said Fey . She added, referring to Morgan’s follow-up statement : “I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian coworkers at 30 Rock , without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket.” Do you accept the actor’s words of contrition?

That darn Tracy is at is again. Tracy Morgan had a stand-up show last Friday and went on a rant that didn’t go over quite well in the Gay and Lesbian community. Morgan said that there’s no way any woman could really be attracted to another woman, they’re just angry with other men. He went on to say that he’d stab his son if he came out and that if gay people can take a d*ck, they can take a joke. Of course, it was only a matter of time before the whole, entire world hated him for what he said. So, Tracy and his people went to damage control to send out this letter: I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context. Do you think Tracy crossed the line or is it just jokes? Speak on it.

As we previously reported, Soulja Boy’s younger brother, Deion Jenkins, was killed in a car accident last week at the age of 14. Now Soulja Boy’s other brother, Tracy, is threatening to commit suicide, claiming he doesn’t know how to cope with the loss of his brother. In a posting on his Facebook page, Tracy Jenkins said “I wonder if I get this 45 pistol in blOw my brains out will it make all this pain go away! Yes it will so why not #igiveup” Friends left comments for Tracy on the page begging him not to take such a drastic course of action. We hope Tracy can pull it together for his family! By Shawn Adler, with reporting by Kara Warner Diane Kruger and January Jones Photo: MTV News He may have broken in with roles in sword-and-sorcery flicks like “Excalibur” and “Krull,” but how in the world did the Oscar-nominated man best known for his quiet, dramatic work in films like “Schindler’s List,” “Nell” and “Kinsey” suddenly become film’s most believable, in-demand 60-year-old badass? It’s precisely because of his previous work, “Unknown” co-stars Diane Kruger and January Jones insisted to MTV News. “I wanted to be in this movie because of Liam really,” Kruger said. “Especially this kind of film. … I think because of his age and because of his body of work and his gravitas as an actor, I think it brings a whole other layer of depth to this kind of film. It feels fresh. It feels like, yes, it’s entertaining and it’s light, but there’s a whole other layer of emotions and character work going on.” Two years after Neeson rocked audiences as a super-talented assassin out to save his daughter in “Taken,” the Irish thesp is back to kick butt and take names in “Unknown,” a neo-Hitchcockian thriller about a man bereft of an identity after a car accident leaves him unsure of who he really is. While unquestionably dangerous and capable, here Neeson also has to play fragile and flustered. It’s a dichotomy that doesn’t just show up in his film roles, January Jones argued, but in the man himself. “He’s such a perfect casting choice for this movie, because you could be intimidated by him physically because he is fit and could cause you harm,” the future Emma Frost told MTV News. “But at the same time there’s something so vulnerable about him in certain things he says and certain things he does that makes you want to take care of him, there’s both sides of that. Reese presented a collection that featured feminine frocks and loose tunics in a range of colors during her show. “It was really about texture,” Reese told MTV News. “Texture, comfort, protection, glamour: How do we put all those together and create some really cool looks?” Reese combined her key elements to produce a variety of original styles, from an eye-catching full-sleeved, hot-pink dress to a black-and-white number in alternating patterns. “She’s a total champion of individuality and walking to the beat of your own tune,” said actress Gabrielle Union, who was in the audience alongside Julia Stiles. Fur, a big trend on the runways this year, was also a key element of some of her pieces, including a turquoise dress that was accented with a black belt and fur neck wrap and a white dress with silver accents, which Reese paired with a beige fur coat. After Charlie Sheen was caught wearing a ridiculous costume and reportedly visiting his latest mistress, Angelina Tracy, Sheen’s rep explained his client’s seemingly shady actions: The actor was simply helping a friend in need . Now, someone actually backs up that claim: Tracy herself. The lingerie model lashed out at the media to The Daily News , telling that newspaper today: “My interaction with Charlie has simply been rehab-related and we are just friends. I would like to make it crystal clear that I am not an escort. These allegations are completely fabricated and are extremely hurtful and damaging.” Okay. So what was Sheen doing at your apartment earlier this month, Angelina? “I was given flowers as a token of support because I have been going through a difficult time in my personal life, and he was only trying to cheer me up. The type of counseling that Charlie has given me is personal. But, I will say that he has helped me immensely, and I will be forever grateful to him.” Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller, sees things differently, however. A source tells Radar Online that she spotted her husband out with a friend of Tracy’s a few weeks ago. “Brooke saw hotel keys and even saw them in the same place together once,” said the insider. “But Charlie just denies everything. They had a huge fight. She knew he was cheating on her.” Since then, Sheen has possibly quit Two and a Half Men and definitely shaved his head . We may need to call in Britney Spears for an intervention from someone that can relate.
