Bret Michaels Still in Intensive Care

Despite reports to the contrary earlier Saturday, Poison frontman Bret Michaels remains in critical condition following a brain hemorrhage on Friday. Says a post on his Facebook fan page: “We are hopeful that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has still not been located. As we all know Bret is a fighter and we are hopeful that once all is complete the slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness, etc. will be eliminated and all functions will return to normal.” [ TMZ ]

Weekend Receipts: Dragon Slays

For the first time in two weeks, the weekend box office results won’t come down to the final figures on Monday. Take that, bean counters! Unfortunately for Jennifer Lopez and The Losers that means no shady numbers massaging — cough, Lionsgate — will allow them to sneak away with the top spot. Grab your best five-week old pop culture reference, hop on a dragon and get ready for some weekend receipts.

Iron Man Poses Nude for Leonardo DiCaprio, and Other Video Mashups

I saw Iron Man 2 last night, and while my reaction to the film is still embargoed, I can at least say that I’m bummed that the cutest scene from the first trailer (the one where Gwyneth Paltrow kisses the Iron Man helmet) is nowhere to be found in the finished product. YouTube user “reubenpac” has provided some sort of restitution for me today, going so far as to insert Iron Man into classic movie scenes he was never supposed to appear in anyway.

In Break from Tradition, Woody Allen Actually Announces New Film’s Title and Plot

Woody Allen is hardly in the business of making tightly guarded fanboy tentpoles or highly anticipated sequels, but by the veil of secrecy he hangs over each project, you’d never know it. Cast lists, plots and titles are often scarce on his movies until close to the release date (Anthony Hopkins didn’t even know the title of the film he just made with Allen until a few weeks ago), but apparently, Allen has something new up his sleeve for the Owen Wilson/Rachel McAdams film he’s about to shoot: total candor.

What’s On: 30 Rock Restages ConanGate with Janitors

Earlier this month while promoting Date Night overseas, Tina Fey spilled the beans on an upcoming 30 Rock episode that would boldly parody the very late night disaster that shock 30 Rock ‘s network just months before. Tonight, Fey & Co. deliver with that eagerly-awaited episode “Khonani” as well as a bonus installment at 8:30 PM. An hour of new 30 Rock should counteract everything unfunny happening on tonight’s Marriage Ref , right?

Stephen Baldwin Needs Your Donations, Right Now, Because of God

Until recently, the most cringe-inducing thing I had read in quite some time was The Onion’s new, spot-on article, “Sad Sack Purchases Screenwriting Software” (“Norgren, whose script ideas were literally too sad to print here, said he likes films with smart dialogue and characters who overcome obstacles”). Then, I stumbled across the website The Restoration of Stephen Baldwin .
