Forget being fast and/or furious. Vin Diesel has made headlines for acting inappropriate and awkward while being interviewed by YouTube star Carol Moreira. In the following video, the action star is talking to Moreira about how Tom Hanks helped him become a star (true fact: they worked on Saving Private Ryan)… until he can no longer help himself. He simply has to speak out. So Diesel goes ahead and interrupts himself to tell Moreira the following: “God, you're so beautiful. God, she's so beautiful.” This may be true. But it's also disrespectful and irrelevant to the interview taking place. Diesel wasn't done, either. He actually turned to people behind the camera and asked: “Am I right or wrong? I mean look at her. How am I supposed to do this interview? Look at this woman. She's so beautiful. Talk to me, baby.” Oh God, Vin. Clearly unsure what to do or how to react, Moreira was able to get the interview back on topic… … until a few minutes later when Diesel returned to hitting on the journalist after she brought up the pair's shared interest in Dungeons and Dragons. “I'm anything like you because I love you,” he said. “Guys, really? Look how beautiful she is. You guys think this is a joke. How am I supposed to sit here when I'm looking at such beauty? She's so beautiful. I'm in love. I'm in love with the interviewer!” Watch the video below – which begins with Moreira explaining how Diesel made her feel very “uncomfortable” – to also see the chauvinist actor practically drool over how “f-cking sexy” Moreira is. It’s hard to believe, but it’s been three years since Paul Walker was killed in a car accident on his way home from a charity event. Few actors have been as beloved by their co-stars as Walker, and Fast and Furious franchise star has been the subject of countless online tributes in the years since his untimely passing. Today, Vin Diesel paid tribute to Walker along with several other Furious co-stars who continue to mourn a man that many of them thought of as family. Diesel changed his Facebook background photo to the above photo of himself and Walker. Not surprisingly, he wasn’t the only famous name to mark this sad milestone on social media. Tyrese Gibson posted the following video of himself and Walker… Tyrese Gibson Paul Walker Tribute … along with a moving caption: “This week is always rough for those of us who really knew him personally. Fourteen years of laughter, hugs and love — literally one of the nicest people on HUMAN FEET!!!!” Gibson wrote. “Nov 30th, we lost an angel! Paul treated everyone with the upmost respect and went out of his way to make everyone feel like they mattered…… I love and I miss you dearly.” Gibson went on to request prayers for Walker’s family, writing: “We simply ask of you prayer warriors around the world pray for his daughter our niece, Meadow Walker, and his dear brothers, Cody and Caleb, and parents and his besty named Roland and Brandon, who were literally with him every day!!!!!!” he continued. “May God rest your soul we hope we make you proud everyday!!!!! RIH ( rest in heaven )….. P-Dubber!!!!” Actress Jordana Brewster, who played Walker’s love interest in the franchise posted a photo of the two of them together on Twitter. The beef between Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel seems to be heating up. Though there’s been no explanation of the beef between the two so far, Johnson fired another shot via his Instagram page. Johnson, after finishing Fast and Furious 8, thanked almost everyone on the set at the end of production. Finished strong and on to the next. That’s an officially wrap on #FastAndFurious8. Yesterday, we reported that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are back together after the couple was spotted making out on the American Idol set in plain view of dozens of cast and crew members. The semi-public confirmation that they’re back on came after months of speculation and rumors about Cassie and J-Lo meeting up for secret rendezvous. Now it seems there was no real reconciliation, after all – because Jen and Casper never really broke up. TMZ is reporting that the couple faked their breakup for publicity purposes. Apparently, in the months leading up to the release of Jen’s most latest movie, The Boy Next Door, the studio hoped to sell more tickets by spreading rumors about Lopez dating Ryan Guzman – her co-star in the film. Vin Diesel believes Furious 7, the latest and final film in the epic action franchise, deserves a best picture Oscar. Not that the Academy will give it its due, of course. “Do I shy away from aiming high? No, I don’t,” said the 47-year-old actor, who just named his baby girl after Paul Walker , his late Furious 7 co-star. Diesel, a mainstay of the Fast & Furious films based around fast cars, says the simple fact that it’s an action franchise discredits it within the Academy . “We all know there’s a little stigma towards action films, we know it, we’ve heard people complain about it,” he says of the lack of critical acclaim. “We’ve heard Marvel complain about it, we’ve heard DC complain about it, and now Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Batman has never gotten a shot at that.” Alluding to the fact that a lot of recent Academy Award winners for Best Picture winners haven’t fared too well, or well at all, at the box office, he said: “The Oscars have been somewhat criticized in the last few years for maybe not being as populist as they could be … we have a very powerful movie here.” “We’re actually responding to the fact that our female audience has just increased and has either eclipsed or threatening to eclipse our male audience.” “We’ve seen that across the board,” said Diesel, who produced the movie and also plays Dominic Toretto, the character he originated over a decade ago. Diesel said a sequel hasn’t won Best Picture since 1974 ( The Godfather: Part II ), however The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King won it in 2004. Furious 7 is also special in that it is one of the last movies starring Walker, the beloved star whose brothers helped complete his part to honor Paul. The film opens in the United States next Friday, April 3, and you can all but guarantee it will generate HUGE buzz and revenue all weekend long.
