Go, Carlton! Alfonso Ribeiro Takes Home The DWTS Season 19 Mirror Ball Trophy

All those years hitting “The Carlton” on cue paid off… Alfonso Ribero Wins Season 19 Of Dancing With The Stars Via HollywoodLife : After the Nov. 24 show, Alfonso & Witney were at the top of the leaderboard with a perfect score of 80. Sadie & Mark got a 78 and Janel & Val got a 77. For the Nov. 25 finale, the three finalists had just 24 hours to create a brand new routine fusing two styles of dance together. Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson danced their final routine to a Cha Cha and Argentine Tango. “The amazing Alfonso. Always switched on, always turned on to the max. A real performer. You always give the audience what they want. You’re a legend,” Bruno screamed. Carrie Ann said: “Your love for dance just shines! You ARE a glitter ball!” Len said his dancing was “natural.” Julianne said it was “super tight, super clean. You would have thought that you had weeks to [practice] this dance.” They also got a 40! Then Alfonso said he would be going on tour for 7 weeks with the DWTS cast — we can’t wait! After 11 weeks of competition, Alfonso & Witney were named the winners! Nice! Congrats to Alfonso on the win.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie: Back Together!

After spending a romantic vacation together in the Bahamas, Hilary Duff is reportedly calling off the divorce from her estranged husband Mike Comrie. According to an insider, the trip was intended to be a time for the couple to discuss splitting assets and custody details for their 2-year-old son, Luca. Instead, the two have agreed to work on their marriage. Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie split earlier this winter in an unexpected, albeit amicable, breakup. There was never a lot of animosity between them, and she even shared photos of their “modern family” together following the split. Says an insider: “Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real. Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance.” Although the source says Duff, 26, wasn’t initially keen on giving the marriage a second chance, she’s had a change of heart when it comes to Comrie. “They’ve been meeting for hookups ever since, and Hilary’s softened and the two are moving forward to see if they can work it out,” the insider revealed. “Hilary’s one stipulation is that Mike step up to the plate with full-time parenting duties while she works on her new TV show and her music career.” Hopefully he’ll rise to the occasion and they’ll work it out, because we like them both … though if it doesn’t work out, Aaron Carter is pining for her . Seriously, he is. He wants to get back together. So sorry, Aaron, if you’ve read this article, but scroll through this gallery for more great couples of yesteryear: 9 Young Couples Who Should Take Another Shot at Love Open Slideshow 1. Maksim Chmerkovskiy to Julianne Hough: I Didn’t "Phone in" Dancing with the Stars Routine!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Dancing with the Stars feuds have gone hand in hand over the years, but in this case, most fans are likely to be on his side. The combustible pro is none too pleased at Julianne Hough, who guest judged the ABC hit series this week and hinted that he phoned in his performance. “You can accuse me of a lot of things,” said Maksim. “You can’t accuse me of not working hard enough.” Danica McKellar & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Jive – Week 4 Maks’ comments came in response to Hough’s accusation that he didn’t give it all on Monday’s “switch up” episode , when he partnered with Danica McKellar. Suffice it to say, Chmerkovskiy didn’t take kindly to that. Following the blowup, some social media users suggested that Hough may have been taking sides because her brother Derek is still in competition. “She said it and now she has to own up to it,” said Maks. It was slightly uncomfortable … not as much so as Erin Andrews grilling Peta and James about whether they’re taking and having a baby, but close. Danica’s 68 points out of 80 leaves her exactly in the middle of the pack – solo fifth out of ninth – headed into next week, when she should be safe. Why? Because she’s Danica, and Maks is Maks. Phoning it in? Really? Tell us what you think of Julianne’s comment and whether you agree with her or not … Dancing With the Stars Season 18 Episode 4 Performances Open Slideshow 1. Erin Andrews Grills Peta Murgatroyd, James Maslow on Dating Rumors: Watch, Get Uncomfortable Now!

Dancing with the Stars’ Peta Murgatroyd and James Maslow may or may not be dating, and Erin Andrews was determined to find out on the show last night. It was momentarily uncomfortable in the ballroom at the 7:00 mark … James Maslow & Cheryl Burke – Tango – Week 4 The new Dancing With the Stars co-host went in for the kill after James’ performance which Cheryl Burke (his partner for one ” switch up ” night only). “It sounds like we have a little bit of talking to do,” she said to the duo. “Can I just … can you tell us you’re dating? I want a Dancing With the Stars baby!” “You’re adorable! C’mon, who doesn’t want this?” Erin Andrews ‘ questioning didn’t go over so well. “Oh my God,” Peta replied, as she wiped her brow uncomfortably. Maslow added: “You can’t have a baby while you’re dancing, alright? So that’s not gonna happen.” Romance rumors first began when the Australian dancer, 27, and Big Time Rush singer, 23, were paired together in the show’s first week in march. A then-shocked Murgatroyd, blushing visibly, then revealed on the program that, “I actually met James once before for dinner … we kind of hit it off.” “I thought he was a good looking guy and then he went away on tour for two weeks and I didn’t see him until he walked into the studio,” she continued. Maslow said at the time, “Would I take her on another date? Yeah, she’s a really cool girl. But right now we are both here for the same reason – we want to win.” But let’s be honest … they’re cute together. Dancing With the Stars Season 18 Episode 4 Performances Open Slideshow 1. Candace Cameron Bure: "I’m A Sexual Christian!"

Candace Cameron Bure may be new to the world of competitive dancing, but it seems she has plenty of practice with the horizontal mambo, if ya know what we mean. The former Full House actress and new Dancing With the Stars contestant has opened up about her faith and family life and it seems nearly two decades of marriage haven’t slowed her down in the bedroom. “I am a sexual woman,” Cameron said recently when asked about her sensual dance moves. She added: “I want to reserve certain things for my husband. So we did, I think, the best that we could with the rumba I felt comfortable doing.” Realizing that Uncle Jessie probably wouldn’t approve of all this sexy rumba talk, Bure then added, “I’m a Christian! My life revolves around my relationship with Christ.” Cameron has made it clear to dance partner Mark Ballas that she won’t be wearing any revealing clothing during their routines, as doing so would conflict with her faith. Cameron, a mother of three, has been married to former NHL player Valerie Bure for 18 years. Her brother, Kirk Cameron , also gained fame as a child star before abandoning acting to become an evangelical minister. New Photos of the DWTS Season 18 Cast! Open Slideshow 1. America’s Got Talent Results: Who Was Saved?

Coming off a mostly disappointing audition episode , which acts on America’s Got Talent advanced to the next round? Results were announced last night… Eliminations – Solo Male Variety Rock Star Juggler Mike Price needs to change his name to “Really Good Juggler” Mike Price. When you add a unicycle, which immediately eliminates any form of “Rock Star” or sexiness. If Piers was still around, when he dropped a club, he would have been buzzed. Cristin Sandu was an obvious elimination, though the sadist in me wished there was a Gymkana-style accident where he caught on fire. Eliminated: Rock Star Juggler Mike Price, Cristin Sandu Advanced: Jacob Williams Eliminations – Color Inspire the Fire just wasn’t good when they performed. They have a sympathetic story, but sympathy could only get a group so far. Let them inspire children on a smaller level, but not as a Vegas act. All Beef Patty was okay, but didn’t move. I wonder if Prince Poppycock was competing this season, would he have been more accepted now that Piers Morgan wasn’t around. Light Wire Theater was the clear and obvious frontrunner. They have at least three more weeks to create some more shapes if they haven’t already been working on their designs. Eliminated: Inspire the Fire, All Beef Patty Advanced: Light Wire Theater Eliminations – Dance and Song There was an outside shot that people really wanted to see this dreaded “Turf vs. Elusive” storyline, but luckily no one really wanted to. I still thought Lindsey Norton was better than both, but we’ll see next week if she will be the one solo dancer against Turf. Jake Wesley Rogers wasn’t ready for the big stage, he needed a few more coffee shops and smaller venues to grow, but this had to be a great learning experience for Jake. This left a really obvious choice for the Untouchables to advance. The two week Olympic break will help this group stay fresh if they stick to a salsa/samba style. Eliminated: Elusive, Jake Wesley Rogers Advanced: The Untouchables Final Eliminations When Spencer basically said, “Ouchies, my elbow!” you knew that no one was going to vote for him. This left us with two very interesting choices. I didn’t prefer Wordspit not because of their original song, but because of the chaos that ensued during the performance. It was a lot of noise and that comes from someone that likes Skrillex. All Wheel Sports did miles better than their direct competition, American BMX Stunt Team, both because they seem to have a more youthful approach, but also a more creative way of using the stage. Howard seemed to continue to champion his band flag, but Howie and Sharon weren’t having it. Eliminated: Spencer Horseman Wordspit and the Illest!’s Vote: Howard All Wheel Sports’ Vote: Howie, Sharon

So You Think You Can Dance Results: Down to 16

So You Think You Can Dance whittled its number of contestants down to 16 last night. Before we arrived at the elimination, however, viewers were treated to a giant dance number that involved some kind of zombie-like choreography set to Marilyn Manson. From there, the remaining hopefuls performed in pairs, while the Step Up Revolution cast took to the stage for a rather cool fog/lasers-based show. Okay, fine. We’ll see that move.

‘So You Think You Can Dance’: The Ladies Bring It

From crumping to alien space dancing, sexy ladies stole the show at the Salt Lake City auditions. By Natasha Chandel Witney Carson on “So You Think You Can Dance” Photo: Season nine of “So You Think You Can Dance” just got hot … real hot. The Salt Lake City auditions not only brought forth some stupendous dancers but also scored the first tickets on judge Mary Murphy’s infamous hot-tamale train. Ballroom was the predominantly featured dance style Wednesday night, although we saw glimpses of everything from crumping to burlesque jazz to (you guessed it) alien space dance. In the audition episodes thus far , the men have managed to stand out just a little more than the women. Well, Salt Lake City just tipped the scale in favor of the ladies, leaving judge Nigel Lythgoe and guest judge Adam Shankman drooling. Here’s our “tamales” rundown from last night’s show. Hot Tamales Kicking off the show in high gear was Witney Carson. Not only did her sensual cha-cha tango receive praise for its technique, she made slaves out of the judges. “I am a slave for you,” Shankman proclaimed, while Lythgoe commented on her “smoking-hot face” and compared her to season 3 ballroom favorite Anya Barnis. But the greatest compliment may have been in the form of a simple, shrill scream from Mary Murphy declaring her the season’s first ticket holder on the hot-tamale train. Carson wasn’t the only dancer awarded a golden ticket. Deanna Tomasetta was dubbed “special,” giddy but super-fierce crumper Mariah Spears was called “tremendous,” and burlesque jazz dancer Rachel Applehans was applauded for her confidence. Odd Tamales No reality competition series is complete without its share of oddballs, and the Salt Lake City auditions found its odd tamale in Lynn Gravatt. A former aerospace engineer, Gravatt gave it all up to pursue her passion for dance. Alien space dance, to be exact. Claiming “something” comes through her to make her move, Gravatt performed enthusiastically for the judges. Of course, they didn’t put her through, but Gravatt had achieved her goal of showing the world you can be anything you want to be. Odd things do come in green packages. Gene Lonardo sure did. The real shocker of the night, Lonardo decided to paint himself green and perform the life story of a male praying mantis. Yes, you read correctly. What seemed like a disaster waiting to happen actually turned out to be the surprise of the night. “You’re so brilliant,” Shankman told the unbelievably agile dancer, whom the judges felt would be a treat for contemporary choreographer Sonya Tayeh. Sad Tamales There were a few sad stories interspersed throughout the show, including that of Dareian Kujawa, who was kicked out of his home and disowned for his pursuit of dance. Leroy Martinez, a heavier-set dancer, had overcome a rough childhood and was now giving back through an after-school dance program. Although both put forth commendable efforts, projecting true spirit, neither was granted a golden ticket. Martinez did receive a standing ovation from the judges and the crowd. Contestant Adrien Lee had a different story. After being cut at the last stage in season seven of “SYTYCD,” Lee was disheartened, as was Murphy, who had the tough job of delivering the bad news. After taking a year off, he decided to try again and won yet another ticket and another chance to make his dreams come true in Las Vegas. Salt Lake City was the final audition city before the big cuts in Vegas, and it definitely featured some of the sexiest dancers of the lot. Whether any will actually make it to the top 20 remains to be seen, but next week we will be one step closer to finding out as “So You Think You Can Dance” moves on to Sin City. Who was your favorite dancer on “So You Think You Can Dance”? Let us know in the comments.
