Cam Newton and his girlfriend Kia Proctor recently posed for a family Christmas card featuring their four beautiful children. This year’s heartfelt holiday photo features their youngest Camidas Swain being held in Cam’s arms and Kia’s oldest daughter looking like a spitting image of her mother. The couple’s other two children Chosen and Sovereign-Dior are also absolutely adorable alongside a red-haired Kia who wears Liridona Matoshi and Vjollca Llapashtica gowns. Adam Lind is … well, he's not a good person, for a whole lot of reasons. He has several problems, and don't worry, we'll do a quick review on them, but as a result of all of these issues, he recently gave up his rights to his youngest child. It's sad in many, many ways. But what about Aubree? 1. Ugh OK, so Adam is doing so hot these days. 2. Well … He’s always been a jerk … remember when Chelsea had just given birth to Aubree and he texted her to call her a “fat stretch mark bitch”? 3. So Awful He also wrote “tell me where and when to sign the rights over for that mistake,” which is particularly heartbreaking, considering what just happened with his parental rights. 4. Bad Boy Adam’s been getting arrested for years now because he’s always had trouble with following the law and being a considerate person. 6. Why Though? Steebie also kicked it with his “best friends”, his sons Stevie Jr. and Dorian. Judging by social media, it appears that the first-time father has had his baby girl Dream in his care for the last few days. 50 Cent hasn't exactly been killin' it in the life choices department lately, and his parenting in particular has drawn a tremendous amount of criticism in recent months. Back in October, 50 threatened to kill his son Marquise on Instagram. Now, he's drawing fire for a video in which he appears to punch his youngest “son,” Davian, in the head. We had to put that in quotes because Davian isn't really Fiddy's son, but rather a young fan whom the rapper says he “treats like a son.” We guess that would be a good thing, were it not for the fact that in Curtis Jackson's world, treating someone like a son means pummeling them in the head. The rapper posted the clip below on Instagram with a caption reading: “Getting my young bull ready.” Ready for what? The concussion protocol? Fif doesn't appear to be hauling off and hitting Davian full-force, but it bears repeating that he makes contact with the kid's head multiple times, at one point hitting him so hard that he bumps into the wall behind him. Mr. Cent has long been a boxing aficionado, often commenting on the sport on social media, and even feuding with Floyd Mayweather and other fighters. (Floyd and 50 have buried the hatchet, but the rapper has since taken to throwing shade at Bernard Hopkins.) So we understand that he takes a genuine interest in the sport, and this isn't just an excuse to knock an 11-year-old around. Still, it might be time for 50 to hire a coach for the kid. We're sure he can afford it.
Maryland is expected to rake in some serious dough through legal marijuana starting in 2017. It has been estimated that the cannabis industry in the state could reach $60 million by 2020. And considering that the African-American/Black community makes up 30.5 percent of the population, one would assume local Black entrepreneurs will be cashing in as well. Unfortunately not. “Maryland set up its legal medical marijuana industry with hopes of racial diversity and equity in spreading profits, but none of the 15 companies cleared this week for potentially lucrative growing licenses are led by African Americans,” reported the Washington Post. Of course, local Black community advocates and business people are calling out Maryland officials on the license approvals. “We are not going to see this industry flourish in the state of Maryland with no minority participation,” said Del. Cheryl D. Glenn (D-Baltimore), chairwoman of the Legislative Black Caucus. An unexpected change to the chicken recipe breathes new life into the restaurant but also brings unexpected problems. Sounds legit. Acclaimed film and music video creator Chris Robinson will direct the movie. Queen Latifah‘s Flavor Unit will produce it in a partnership with Epps’ Naptown Productions and T.I.‘s Grand Hustle Films. Kylie Jenner Purchases A New $4.5 Million Calabasas Mansion Kylie Jenner must be makin’ a WHOLE lotta money off her janky, scam, make-up company. According to Realtor , the youngest Jenner is a new homeowner…again. While most teenagers are trying to scrape together enough cash for their first used car, 19-year-old model/makeup maven/social media magpie Kylie Jenner has just plunked down about $4.5 million for her third Calabasas-area home—right next door to the $6,025,000 mansion she bought in May in Hidden Hills, CA. According to TMZ, the youngest in the Jenner-Kardashian clan will use the four-bedroom, four-bathroom home as workspace for her recently launched cosmetics line, appropriately named Kylie Cosmetics. The home was built in a traditional style with a nod to Craftsman detailing. At 5,000 square feet, the home can accommodate many guests and entourage members. Whoever stays there can enjoy long breaks in the outdoor pool and spa, or make s’mores in the fireplace in the pool house. Like the nearby pad sister Kim and her husband, Kanye West, bought a few years back, there’s a small vineyard in the front. Since Jenner is not yet of legal drinking age, perhaps she’ll use the fruit of the vine in her cosmetics. It’s been done before. Although her most recent purchase has hardwood flooring, custom molding, 8-foot-high doors, and vaulted wood-beam ceilings, it seems a bit sedate for a 19-year-old. We figure she’ll work on updating the home, which was built in 2013, while she’s also personalizing the adjacent six-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom, 7,040-square-foot home she moved into just a few months ago.
