On Friday, the finance management app released an interactive music video starring 2 Chainz and comedian Adam Scott. Scott plays the head of finance for a record label who encourages Chainz to save his receipts. The rapper then proceeds to dive into a song about his expensive lifestyle and extravagant purchases, like 2 Chainz is known to do. “EXPENSIFY TH!$” is part of the company’s new campaign, “You Weren’t Born To Do Expenses.” The campaign will consist of digital, social, and TV content, including a 30-second ad that will debut on Super Bowl Sunday.
Source: RHONA WISE / Getty Boca Raton Cop Fired Over N-Word Gets Second Chance The lengths that cops will go to in order to protect one another is pretty sickening and it’s almost always at an innocent person’s expense. Crazy how that works. A Sun-Sentinel article details how Boca Raton cop Jeremy Codling was fired earlier this year after it was revealed that he used the n-word and frequently told racist and offensive jokes in the presence of Black officers. Initially, only disciplinary action was taken in the form of demotion, pay reduction, and a written letter of apology. Nine days after his demotion, it was discovered that Codling lied about his behavior under oath in addition to storing several pornographic images and websites on his department-issued computer. After being fired on March 5, somehow this d-bag with a badge has been granted a second chance to be an officer of the law. Codling has been given a “last chance,” she said, because significant disciplinary action was taken, he had no previous complaints of racism and if he messes up, he’ll be out of a job, again. “The final part of the discipline is a legal document in which the officer and city agree that that if the officer exhibits any similar behavior in the future, he will be terminated,” Gibson said. Translation: He used to be such a good boy prior to his racism that we just HAD to give him another chance. Peep this sorry a$$ excuse for an apology letter: “I want you to know that I am sorry for offending you with anything I may have said or done; It was never my intent to upset you,” Codling wrote. “Hopefully we can both move forward and have a good working relationship at the Boca Raton Police Department.” That’s how you apologize to a Black man for saying the n-word huh? SMFH. F**k Florida as a whole and definitely f**k the Boca Raton Police Department specifically. They still have the nerve to act indignant and offended when we say “f**k the police”. Tuh.
(Photo by Mike Pont/Getty Images) Suspects In Safaree Armed Robbery In Custody Law enforcement sources have confirmed with TMZ that 2 men suspected of robbing Safaree at gunpoint Monday were busted after cops chased them down over the George Washington Bridge, from New Jersey into New York. Earlier today a clips of Safaree weeping over the incident were shared, Safaree clearly shaken over it. Reportedly they held the rapper at gunpoint, face down. Safaree is claiming they stole $183k in cash jewels. TMZ says police were in hot pursuit following the alleged robbery in Fort Lee, NJ. Cops followed them over the bridge, and at one point the suspects crashed their car and fled on foot. NYPD joined the search before Jonathan Ricketts and Shawn Harewood were captured about 12 blocks apart

It looks like Genesis is still a huge fan of Dutchess, one of his mother’s enemies, and he doesn’t care who knows. Genesis was singing Dutchess’ praises in her comments, for helping him him when he “got out.” We assume the young man is referring to being release from prison. Knife-Wielding Clown Chases Ohip Teenager From Bus Stop Earlier this week we reported on an incident in South Carolina where a clown was reportedly stalking children from the woods near an apartment building playground. Welp, according to NBCNews , South Carolina isn’t the only place with a killer clown problem… There has been another creepy clown encounter — this time in Columbus, Ohio. A 14-year-old boy heading to a school bus stop Tuesday morning told police he was chased by a black-clad man armed with a knife — and wearing a clown mask, police said. “The victim was able to get away from him by throwing a rock at him,” said police spokeswoman Denise Alex-Bouzounis, who added that police are now canvassing the area in search of the suspect and keeping a close eye on the bus stop in north Columbus near where the incident occurred. “We don’t know whether this was a prank or not, but we are taking it seriously,” she said. The alleged attack on the teenager came as police down in South Carolina were investigating multiple reports of menacing clowns allegedly trying to lure children to an abandoned house in the woods. Bossip recently chatted it up with the Grammy award winning artist about funkadelic music, her work with D’Angelo on Black Messiah, and addressing pressing social issues through song. When talking about her single, Kendra says that this song embodies the way many of us have felt over the course of our lives when we think we’ve found our “soulmate”. I think it’s really about that feeling that you feel when you at least think that you found the one or your soulmate or whatever it is and that feeling that you have especially if you feel that way about each other that you don’t wanna leave that. I wrote this song 7 years ago and I was touring 85%of the year with George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. And I had a long distance relationship with a young gent who was in school and really trying to find his way. I mean he was much younger than me by a few years. I was so in love with this person and I felt like they were the one. I’m always afraid of being the one left in love. So I was asking them to promise to stay here. I was promising to stay here. And then of course one finds themselves offering everything, the best of themselves in return.
