Get Yo Thug On: Mom Popped By One-Time After Giving Man That Work With A Baseball Bat For Selling Drugs To Her Son

Some mothers take their sons to rehab. This mother said phuck that I’m whooping that a**. Mom Beats Up Son’s Drug Dealer According to River Front Times “She did what any good mother would do.” So says the attorney of Sherrie Gavan, a 54-year-old Jefferson County mother who was convicted this week of third-degree assault for attacking a 22-year-old man with a baseball bat. What was her motive? She said the man was her son’s drug dealer — and had contributed to his drug addiction. Her explanation, however, apparently did not convince a jury the way she hoped it would. Check out her firsthand account of the incident below. Here’s a Post-Dispatch interview in which Gavan explains the events leading up to the assault. “My mother’s instinct took over,” she told the paper. “I was scared. I was paranoid. I did not know what was going on.” The confrontation occurred, she said, after she had warned Joshua Loyd, the 22-year-old who had apparently done drugs with Gavan’s son, now nineteen, to stay away. But Assistant Jefferson County Prosecutor Jacob Costello made the argument to jurors that she broke the law, regardless of the circumstances, the P-D reports. “This case is not about whether Mrs. Gavan is a good parent. You can’t take matters into your own hands like that…. She made a choice to pull out the baseball bat.” The mother told the paper, “I don’t know what happens from here. I just know you can’t protect your child anymore.” A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 4. Do you think she was right for giving that shady drug dealer that work or is she out-of-order? Random Ridiculousness: Man Leads Police On Wild Car Chase In Los Angeles

Dude , why? Man Takes Police On Car Chase According to My Fox LA A suspect in a stolen van crashed head-on into one of about dozen Los Angeles police cars involved in a nearly 40-minute chase that finally came to an end when police flattened at least two tires with a spike strip. The chase began about 1:15 pm near Exposition Boulevard and the Harbor (110) Freeway. Back on surface streets near USC, the driver drove through intersections without slowing and sideswiped or pushed other vehicles out his way at times. At 57th Street and Towne Avenue, the suspect swung around a corner and onto the wrong side of the road, where the van struck an LAPD cruiser head-on. The driver backed up and kept going. That could qualify the suspect to be booked for felony assault on a police officer. The van also was involved in at least two other minor accidents. Police on foot eventually slid a spike strip in front of the van, flattening at least two tires and slowing the chase. The van finally came to a stop near Vermont Avenue and 43rd Street at about 1:55 pm, with the driver getting out and running across traffic, then back across the road before slipping and falling on a wet stretch of sidewalk. The van was believed to have been stolen in the USC area. Check out the video. It’s a wrap for him. SMH. My Fox LA

Video of police pulling protester from wheelchair cause outrage

A video showing a police officer dragging a disabled man across a road after he had been tipped out of his chair during the student protests sparked outrage today when it was posted on YouTube. Jody McIntyre, 21, was pulled across the street to the fury of the watching crowd outside Parliament who can be heard shouting at the police to stop. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that an internal investigation was underway into the wheelchair incident. Mr McIntyre has contacted a lawyer and is considering pressing charges. Mr McIntyre said he was twice dragged out of his chair by police officers during the protest about rises in student tuition fees. On the first occasion he was lifted out of his chair and carried 100 yards 'for his own safety'. Half an hour later, in the video posted on YouTube, the political activist was dragged across the road by a policeman towards the opposite kerb. Mr McIntyre, who is not a student, has been disabled since birth with cerebral palsy and can stand but cannot walk more than 100 yards. His 16-year-old brother later reunited him with his wheelchair. added by: sbacker

Protesters Clash during Military Parade in Barking

Far right nationalists and Muslim extremists clashed as the Royal Anglian Regiment marched through Barking today. About 50 members of a group called Muslims Against the Crusades heckled soldiers shouting “murderers” and brandished placards proclaiming “British soldiers are cowards” during a homecoming parade for troops. They were met with counter-demonstration of nationalists including members of the extreme anti Islam English Defence League shouting “scum” and “Allah, Allah, who the f***k is Allah”. The rival groups faced off across Barking's main shopping street. Moments after the soldiers passed by tensions reached boiling point as nationalists broke police lines and charged across the road, clashing with the Muslim protesters. Police quickly separated the two groups and escorted the Islamists to the tube station. London, UK. 15-06-10
