Kanye West Doing “Fine” After Migraine Hospitalization in Australia

Kanye West is okay, folks! We mean… he’s crazy egotistical and he’s stuck being married to Kim Kardashian and everything. But he’s okay health wise at the moment. The rapper was taken to a hospital in Australia on Wednesday after suffering a migraine, sources confirm to E! News. But it was only a “precaution” and West is now doing “fine.” Kanye “didn’t have a major health scare or seizure,” the insider assures E!. In fact, Mr. Kardashian even went on to perform for his Yeezus tour just a few hours after getting an MRI and leaving doctor’s care. We’ve heard he’s now resting comfortably at a Sydney hotel with Kim and daughter North West , as Kanye has two more concerts to perform later this week in that city. The world famous couple was spotted shopping in Sydney’s central business district a couple days ago, hitting such stores as Zambesi on Flinders Street. We’re not the biggest Kanye West fan in the world (or even the second biggest), but we do wish him well and hope he truly does make a full recovery. 13 Great Kanye GIFs: Best of the West! 1. Elderly Woman Survives Attack From 75,000 Killer Bees A 71-year-old woman miraculously survived a vicious attack after suffering over 1000 stings when a swarm of killer bees emerged from a utility box. via AOL A California woman stung more than 1,000 times by a swarm of bees is expected to be okay. Firefighters say the unidentified 71-year-old woman was a covered in a ‘suit of bees’ when they arrived on scene, according to KABC. ‘The bees, about 75,000 of them, made a hive inside a fiber optic phone line utility box. You can see the honeycomb on the lid. [She] had to be rescued by having a blanket thrown over her head and taken inside by her neighbor.’ From the sounds of things, this woman is definitely blessed to have survived!

Roy Garber Dies; Shipping Wars Star Was 49

Roy Garber, a star on A&E’s Shipping Wars, passed away Friday after suffering a heart attack in Texas. He was 49 years old. According the reality star’s girlfriend (via TMZ), Garber was taken to a hospital following the incident, though doctors were unable to save him. Family members say Garber had been stuck with a heart condition for awhile. Said the series via Facebook: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family. Our thoughts are with Roy’s loved ones during this difficult time. He will be missed.” Shipping Wars tracks carriers who transport unusual items and it had just wrapped its fifth season. Garber was the owner/operator of Arbie’s Team Transport in New Hampshire and he was one of the top earners in the country. We send our condolences to his loved ones.

I’ve never really bowed to a man before. Does that make me a badass antihero? It definitely makes Richard B. Riddick one, according to this new  Riddick banner . Have a look: Vin Diesel returns to star in the third installment of the franchise that began with  Pitch Back and  The Chronicles of Riddick . This time, Riddick must fight off alien bounty hunters in order to return to his home planet and save it from destruction. Karl Urban, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Jordi Molla, Dave Batista, and Nolan Gerard Funk also star. David Twohy directs the film, which he also wrote. Riddick will premiere September 6.

Ted Dwane, Mumford & Sons Bassist, Hospitalized for Blood Clot

Ted Dwane was rushed to the emergency room yesterday after suffering blood clot on his brain, with Mumford & Sons releasing a statement that updates fans on the condition of its bassist: “Our friend and bandmate Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment,” the band says, adding: “The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.” As a result of this incident, Mumford & Sons – on tour in support of its second album – announced that it has postponed shows in Dallas, Woodlands and New Orleans. “We have no plans to cancel or postpone any other appearances along this current tour,” added the group. “We’re all wishing Ted a speedy recovery.” The quartet’s next concert is scheduled for June 15 at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. Let’s all hope everyone can make it and it proceeds as planned.

Henry Bromell Dies, Veteran TV Producer Was 66

Henry Bromell, a veteran television producer of such hits as Homeland and Chicago Hope , passed away today  after suffering a heart attack on Monday. He was 66. The writer has served as executive producer on the aforementioned Showtime hit since it premiered early last year. Said 20th Century Fox TV/Fox 21 in a statement on his death: “We were lucky to work with Henry on and off for the past 18 years. He was a supremely talented writer and as kind and warm a person as you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed at the studio and on Homeland . Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife and children.” Bromwell is survived by his wife and two sons. His resume includes Northern Exposure , Homicide: Life On The Street , Rubicon and Carnivale .
