He “is in very good spirits” and expects to be discharged today. The mild stroke is similar to two others he suffered in the past five years, another source close to the 83-year-old Jackson said, and he should recover fully. Joe Jackson created and managed the Jackson 5, the legendary R&B-pop group made up of his sons, including the late and iconic Michael Jackson. Although he is still married to Jackson matriarch Katherine Jackson, they live separately. He has a home in Las Vegas, while his wife lives in Calabasas, Calif. Michael Jackson’s three children, Prince, Blanket and Paris Jackson , live with her. It looks like Demi Moore may be taking her daughters’ advice. According to Page Six, the actress is moving on from Ashton Kutcher with yet another boy toy, some 26-year old named Vito Schnabel . Schnabel is the son of famous painter Julian. He’s an art dealer who was linked romantically to Elle MacPherson in 2008. Witnesses tell The New York Post that Moore and Schnabel first cozied up at the 50th birthday bash for Naomi Campbell’s boyfriend in India this month. “They were dancing and grinding all over each other, openly, in front of other guests,” an insider tells the newspaper. Ever since then, the unexpected pair has been “quietly spending time together,” another source adds. Moore and Kutcher, of course, separated a year ago, with Kutcher now openly dating Mila Kunis . There’s no word yet on when the formerly married couple will officially divorce.

After the prosecution rested in the Casey Anthony trial, the judge denied the defense’s motion for acquittal on the Florida woman’s murder charge. Judge Belvin Perry said the state presented “substantial, competent evidence” that Anthony’s daughter Caylee was slain and she was responsible. The defense now must proceed with its case on Thursday. Anthony faces three charges, including first-degree premeditated murder. She had no reaction in the Orlando court when the motion was denied. Her attorney, Cheney Mason, had argued that prosecutors failed to present evidence that a murder had even occurred, premeditated or otherwise. “There has been no evidence of premeditation,” the lawyer said . “There has been a stacking of inferences. A stacking of speculation. No evidence.” “There is no evidence to suggest when she died, where she died, how she died, who if anyone was in attendance with her when she died.” The state, he added, established only that “the child is dead.” In denying the motion to toss the case, the judge begged to differ and concluded there is compelling evidence Caylee Anthony was murdered . Her mother, while innocent until proven guilty, is on trial for a reason. Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick argues that Caylee Anthony died as a result of “three pieces of duct tape applied to her nose and mouth, as a result of poisoning by chloroform [and] as a result of a combination of the two.” Gruesome stuff to say the least.
